So I noticed my mother's front driver side tire was on the rim, (no air in tire). Put on the spare tire and had her make an appointment at town fair tire (Attleboro) the following day she goes and get its fixed said that it took a few hours because they were busy, yes even though you have an appointment expect to wait a minimum of 45min although I've been there for up to 3 hours in the past for a simple plug in a tire. Several hours later after driving it for a little bit She then lets me know that her car sound horrible and is makes all sorts of noises. Went out to take a look at it and found the problem very quickly. They completely forgot to tighten any of her lugs nuts every single one was hand Tight. Now this could have ended in a tragedy. Thankfully her tire did not fall off as she was driving. Do better before you guys kill Someone! read more

DO NOT GO TO THIS TOWN FAIR TIRE!!! Long story. I had my vehicle towed to this location after hitting a pothole and required a new tire. apparently my bolts (i have bolts and not lug nuts, look it up if you dont know the difference) were warped due to heat overtime and my recent accident (meaning the pothole) so the manager brings me one of my bolts so i can go to advance auto right next door. i decided to replace all 20 instead of just 5 as it was probably just better at the time, and the manager told me he would simply replace all 20 free of any extra charge. on monday i receive the call my car is ready and i go to pick it up. i arrive and pay the bill then im told "oh hey you had an extra bolt from the 20 you provided us" to which i thought was odd but sure enough i walk outside to the fact that im missing a bolt on one of my wheels. i go back inside to report this and then watch the man at the front desk go to the back to speak with whom worked on my car and came back to tell me "the inside of the wheel was stripped and thats just a matter of wear and tear we couldn't do anything about it sorry!" (stripping something where a screw or bolt into means there is no more lines inside the object that line up with the screw or bolt which means it obviously cannot screw in). now them probably assumimg oh im the 18 year old i dont know anything about this that is far from true. i explain its funny how my car arrived with the capability of having all my bolts screwed in and out with out a problem but when they suddenly tamper with them they can no longer screw in and it just so happen that the "wear and tear" came to this moment. the manager is brought up and comes to look at my car and messes with the bolt only to come back inside and say this: "so i never touched that wheel or worked on it at all so that can't be our fault". this gentleman meant he never mounted a tire on to this wheel, so i call him out and explain that if there is a bill to fix this they will be paying for it. so long story short they attempt to lie to me, then look at the problem and decide to he down right idiots. do not go to this location because you will get screwed over! i brought my car to my father's friends shop called "S & S Broad Street Garage" and explained what happened, he fixed my wheels, and gave me a free alignment free of charge because i was screwed over and should not have payed anything so i strongly advise going to his location in woonsocket. read more

I purchased four tires from Town Fair in South Attleboro thru the dealer. Tires I purchased came with a 65000 mile tread warranty (I called Toyo to confirm myself). When I took my car to the dealer for maintenance, they told me my tires were between 3/32nd and 4/32nds. They recommended I take the vehicle to Town Fair for them to assess the tire wear for warranty. When I got to Town Fair and explained why I was there, one of their countermen went to my vehicle to verify what the dealer had said. He confirmed the measurements and instructed me to come back when the manager, Jack, was there so he could look at it. So, I went back. Jack went out to the vehicle and measured the tires. He said they are still good, they are at 4s and 5s and there is no tread warranty on the tires. I informed him to contact Toyo Tires, as I had already done, and use my phone number as the case number. I then asked him how he had 4s and 5s for tire reading because both his counterman and the dealer technician reading were both 3s and 4s. He took my info and said he would look into it and call me back. After several weeks of not hearing from Jack, I went back to see him. He said to me, I remember you, I lost your paperwork and I don't have any information. I will need to look into it again. Several more weeks, no answer again. I went back and Jack said you have no warranty on tread for those tires. I said sure I do and I confirmed it with Toyo company myself. I tried going to another Town Fair but they just said you have to go back to the Town Fair who installed the tires. I said what happens if I'm on vacation? Do I have to have my car towed back to South Attleboro? I was told any Town Fair should be able to take care of tire issues anywhere in the country. Is that a lie so we purchase tires from you? So silly me, I went back. Jack wasn't there. So Silva took my info and said he would speak with Jack and get back to me. It has been 2 months and I am still waiting for a call back from either Jack or Silva....... Today I had a problem with my snow blower as it had a tire that lost its air pressure. I took the tire to Town Fair in South Attleboro, and they promptly took care of it by resealing the tire and filling it with air. Worse off, the nail was embedded close to the side wall so it couldn't be patched. The check-in process can be a bit chaotic when they are busy due to a lack of counter space, but it's a minor irritation for a free tire rotation. Service is always friendly and helpful, and these guys know tires. I tried to buy tires from this store today, I called on the phone and was told that they had a large selection of tires in the size I was looking for ranging from $119 each to $159 each. When I got there I was informed that the size I was looking for was not very popular and the salesman proceeded to show me the only set they had in my size, some no name brand "Mastercraft" for $159. each. I told him I preferred a name brand and he told me that the tires he was showing me were really Coopers they just had another name on them. I asked what happened to the eight brands he told me he had on the phone, and he just shrugged, I told him that his phone conversation misrepresented what they had to offer. It is my impression that this store will tell you anything to sell you a set of tires. Buyer beware. I went down the street to the Firestone store what a different experience, they were as professional as Town Fair was unprofessional. My husband review is the other one from today, and in all fairness I wanted to add a review of my own. I've been dreading having to get new tires on my car and I've been driving around with bald tires for about 6 months. Going into a mechanic shop as a young woman is extremely annoying, because you are very often taken advantage of. I know handbags, medical computer software, I'm good at crafts, buying tires? Not really my forte. Nonetheless, needing an inspection my only option was to go in and get it done. I walked in today knowing what I needed, 4 brand new tires, nothing too expensive, but also not the poorest quality. I worked with Nick and he let me know that the Goodyear tires on my car go for about $250 each, which I was hoping to not have to spend. He found me a cheaper brand that were going to cost me $199 each. Awesome, I thought I was getting a great deal! Until I left and called my husband, and he informed me that I paid way too much for a set of tires. He asked what kind of tires I got, so I read the name off the invoice, and he found them online at Walmart for $137 each. He called Town Fair Tire and they told him they would match the Walmart price, without any push back. He felt I was taken advantage of. The truth is, I worked in retail for many years, and I totally understand that Walmart is a horrible example of a retailer for many reasons, and it's very difficult to compete with such a giant retailer. However, as a consumer I appreciate that they did the price match. The service was great and complete in less than two hours. They were professional and I would still recommend them going forward. We had originally went to a Fair Town Tire in Woonsocket, RI to get my car aligned and balanced. The first time they said the front was done but the back wasn't because the bolts were frozen in. So we had to get them unfroze and come back to get car aligned. After doing so we went back told them it was done and not even twenty minutes later stated they were done. Gave us a paper with the codes of how its aligned and it was all in red for the rear end. We asked why and the man said "oh no your good you are all set." Unfriendly, didn't make you feel welcomed, just rush you out. A month later our tires that were practically new were now beginning to go bald in the BACK. My husband said we would have to go back but to the same company just a different location. So we went to this location and they said the alignment was not done at all...they ended up doing it and provided us with two new tires at no cost. These other people just wanted a quick buck and too lazy to do the actual job!!!! So glad we decided to go to this one. They were polite, apologetic, and understanding. It took a bit lo her than I would have liked but over all it was just fine. We plan to go back in the future. read more

I don't write bad reviews unless someone really crosses the line. All of my tire valve stems on my Toyota Rav4 were replaced and never synched with my cars computer as they should of been. So the tire light remained on. Then they told me the batteries needed replacing in them. I did that. More expense. I went elsewhere because they all needed to be replaced by a professional. Now everything works. My money and time was wasted here by their incompetence. They also tried to tell me my rims were the cause of everything and they tried to sell me new rims. More lies. Do not let them touch your vehicle! My husband took his Jeep in for 3 new tires, spare was brand new. They replaced 3 out of the four because they stripped the lug nut on the fourth tire. They said " you'll have to take it somewhere else to get that off". Cost us $130. to have the dealership remove the lug and put tire on. Went back for alignment, which they already charge us for, was told they couldn't undo the toe bar, take it somewhere else. $80. later toe bar loosened. Finally after spending all total $943.00 the tire pressure light is on. They ending up costing me an additional $210.00 because they are incapable of replacing a tire or doing an alignment. These guys know absolutely nothing about being a mechanic or customer service. read more
