I can't recommend the Woonsocket Town Fair Tire crew, especially Jason, enough - EXCEPTIONAL work and outstanding customer service! My morning was pretty rough; I lost my card, didn't charge my phone AND triggered my tire pressure light to come on. Nonetheless, TFT warmly welcomed my walk-in and had my car in the garage stat. The culprit that deflated my tire? An extremely thick nail which required a patch-up. This TFT location has been a family go-to for quite some time, but going in without my dad felt like a daunting experience. Regardless, Jason and team treated my tire with ultimate care and had me on the road in a jiffy (plus I made it to work on time with how speedy the service was). Got a nail in a tire and it was beyond repair. I called and spoke with Ray who coordinated for me to come in for replacement and an alignment. I arrived ahead of my planned appointment; Jason helped me through the process and dropping off the car. I got a call about an hour later telling me the car was ready. Abysmal service. I set up an appointment on their website to purchase tires. What I was confronted with was waiting 3 1/2 hours thinking they were working on my car only to be told when asking how much longer 'oh your car still has not been worked on, but you're coming up next'. Why even schedule an appointment if you're not gonna work at my car at that time. I understand sometimes there are back ups - but if my car was first thing in the morning with an appointment why was I waiting all day before even getting the car in? I've gone in twice and each time has been great. The first time was a scheduled appointment for a wheel alignment and rim swap for the front right. I was in and out in about an hour which was great and for an equally great price. Everyone was very nice, and the techs were capable of driving my '04 TT (with an infamously annoying/foreign clutch) perfectly well. The next time was a drop in to get 3 seized aluminum air caps freed (please don't use aluminum air caps on brass TPMS' like I did) and I was out in about 30 minutes! Overall, everyone is friendly, especially their head mechanic, Adam! Would recommend for any tire needs and will be using them again! read more

Absolutely incompetent!!!! I gave them $1500 for new tires. They couldn't give me a front end alignment and didn't even bother to balance my tires. I had to go back because my tire stem was leaking the next day. Then I had to call them because they didn't balance my tires, then they tell me they are incapable of balancing my tires, then I have to go back for the 5th time because they never put in tire pressure gauges. I cannot stress this enough DO NOT GO THERE!!!! I have never seen a place fail so completely!!!!!! read more

I am giving 5 stars. I was there to get a new tire that had to be shipped from CT. I had to wait a few days but when arrived for my appointment Manager (Raymond) was very helpful and made sure it was done properly. Very nice guy and he will work with you to resolve any issues you may have. Please communicate in civilized way, sometimes waiting time could be a little bit longer, but Ray will work on it as long you let him. went in for a nail in my tire and was in and out in less than 5 minutes! They removed the nail which didn't go through the tire (thankfully) since it was just a tiny one! Not impressed. To start, the proper way to greet customers does not start with an unenthusiastic hello, followed by a blank stare. My response was ...um ok. Was that Jeffs attempt at helping me?? I work with people every day, not acceptable. If you hate your job that much go somewhere else. He was somewhat friendly after that, in an indifferent bored sort of way. It's also rude to answer the phone while with a customer, btw. I mentioned a tire I saw in their online stock that was brought up on the site as an appropriate tire for my car. He said it is the right size but the speed rating is different. Stupid me took his advice and spent more on a tire than I wanted to. It turns out the speed rating on the tire I wanted is actually slightly better than my stock tire, and little difference anyway. I should have went with my gut and got the tire I wanted. If it isn't a good match for my car it shouldn't be coming up online as being acceptable. Also, I only went here because of the supposed free front end alignment but it was never mentioned and was not on my invoice. So I don't even know if it was done. If it I wasn't so mad about the next thing that happened I may have thought to ask. This place almost cost me a chance at my insurance company paying for the new tire by trying to keep my old tire after I clearly told them I have to keep it for insurance purposes. I stressed that this was important. Get the new rim out of the trunk, leave the other rim and tire for my insurance company. So there is already no communication between the staff. Luckily I caught it before I left. If I hadn't, I would have had no tire to show my insurance company, and would have had to fight with this company for liability. You have no right to keep someones property unless they tell you it is ok. Yes most people dispose of their tires, but there is a reason some people do not. I will never come back here. I should have went to Sullivan tire, where I have had good experiences at more than one location. read more

Went to this shop after horrendous service in Milford. Rich Allen at corporate recommended I go to different location and he would speak to manager and make sure I was happy. Well Jeff in Woonsocket spoke to Rich and to accommodate the rudeness of Milford, Rich completely comped my replacement tires. Absolutely incredible, not expected so extremely happy. I knew Rich was setting something up to make up for Milford but to completely comped tires was above and beyond. That's what I call tremendous customer service. Very happy with Woonsocket town Fair. As with many other reviews read here, I was greeted by someone that lacked any kind of enthusiasm. I purchased 4 new tires online and was told it would take 90 minutes. I used to change and balance tires years ago and back then I could have done 4 in 30 minutes. But heck this is progress. When all was done (in 90 minutes), I left with a better riding car. But when I got home and was washing the car I noticed that one wheel was missing the valve stem cap. In fact the tip of the valve didn't look new to me. So I'm left wondering if they did indeed put new valves on. Also the wheels were all scuffed with rubber. Now that isn't hard to clean off, but this just shows the lack of attention to detail by the tech. I have lost confidence in this place and doubt I will buy there again. read more

Had a 12:30 appointment to determine whether a tire was patchable, patch if possible, and replace if not. I waited for 45 minutes and noticed they hadn't even pulled my car in so I asked how much longer it would take and only at that point did they tell me it would be anywhere from 90 minutes to 2 hours. Stupid idiots could've told me up front it would take that long (also- why does it take that long? I have an appointment and I literally just needed them to determine if a patch was possible). Very disappointing experience. Showed up at 9:20 for a 9:30 appointment (2 tires), was told it would take 2 1/2 hours and when I returned at noon, was told it would take another 1 1/2 hours. "We don't believe there was any malicious intent." Please explain how tires on one side are both at 37 psi and the other at 30 psi? That was done on purpose and not double checked. Good thing I'm mechanically inclined. A customer with less mechanical aptitude would have most likely missed this and could have suffered serious injury in an accident. WARNING! DO NOT GO HERE FOR NEW TIRES! I bought a set of tires ($900 worth) that were improperly balanced and there is NO warranty on the balancing. My mistake for being busy and not addressing this problem sooner. ------- I bought tires from this place, came in looking for specific Bridgestones. The employee seemed really good and experienced, so he talked me into going with Toyo Proxes 4 Plus. He was very nice and I felt pretty confident on my purchase. The next day, however was completely different. I walked into the place, and 2 people were eating food at the service counter with their backs turned. I was not greeted or acknowledged. The same employee from the previous day (who was eating at the counter) told him to get my keys and swap out my wheels. It took 45 mins for the swap, and I was ready to go. The person that did it just handed me the keys and walked away. I assumed I was all set, so I left and went to school. About a week later, I started to notice my car was vibrating at 50-60mph. I check my wheels and noticed that the weight strips for the balance were put in crooked. I am a full time student that works, so I don't have many opportunities to get things that should have been done right the first time to have it fixed. I waited until my free tire rotation was ready to have them check. I roll in and I go to the same service desk. The associate helps me and I tell him I just wanted a tire rotation. I checks the front tire and notices a bubble on the tire were the T is and tells me that I need to get a new one. Ok, is it covered under warranty I ask? He tells me that its on the side wall, so there's nothing he can do since I have no road hazard warranty, but says I can try to call the manufacturer. I've only had these for less than 6 months, so I felt cheated. He didn't seem like he wanted to go out of his way to help me out, so I told him I would consult Toyo myself. He also told me that my tires need balancing, because they are not balanced properly. I asked if he could have them balanced for free, and he said they carry no warranty. Splendid! I sent an email to corporate explaining my situation and they also told me sidewall bubbles are not covered and refused to replace the tire. I also emailed Toyo, and they said they would give me 50% towards a new tire. I thought that was reasonable, but they also told me I had to have Town Fair Tire do it. No thanks! I parked my car the next day to find another bubble on the driver's side tire in the same spot as the other tire on the T. Now I am furious because now I have to buy 2 new tires! I immediately went to Sears and got 2 new tires... Continental brand. I had them installed and they drive better than the Toyo. I drive my car very carefully and not very aggressive, so when I learned that I had a bubble, it infuriated me. The fact that I had a bubble in the same spot on both tires, is rather odd. If tires can't handle the rough roads of New England, I don't want them. I will never do business with Town Fair Tire ever again, I'd suggest you should not either. Horrible! read more

Went to get my car aligned and balanced. The first time they said the front was done but the back wasn't because the bolts were frozen in. So we had to get them unfroze and come back to get car aligned. After doing so we went back told them it was done and not even twenty minutes later stated they were done. Gave us a paper with the codes of how its aligned and it was all in red for the rear end. We asked why and the man said "oh no your good you are all set." Unfriendly, didn't make you feel welcomed, just rush you out. A month later our tires that were practically new were now beginning to go bald in the BACK. My husband said we would have to go back but to the same company just a different location. The other Fair Town Tire located in Attleboro MA said the alignment was not done at all...they ended up doing it and provided us with two new tires at no cost. These people just wanted a quick buck and too lazy to do the actual job!!!! read more

I came for new tires on Saturday, Logan who greeted me at the counter and got me all set up was super friendly, and even patient with my 2 kids. The tires are smooth driving and no problems thus far. All of the other employees as they were walking thru were also friendly and didn't seem to mind my children who are very friendly and like to ask their names and what they're doing. Don't come here on a Saturday!!! The quality of the tires and services done are good. The guy running the place, Nick is fantastic with customer service. The other guys up front are awful and don't care about anything! I had to wait for over 3 HOURS for an alignment. I had come a couple days before for tires and free alignment but the alignment guy had called out. So they made me an appointment for Saturday. I went shopping, took my time, came back 2.5 hours later and my vehicle was still where I had parked it. I was furious. After complaining to other people waiting and to my husband on the phone (yeah, I'm one of those people, when provoked) Nick came over and apologized to me when I was the only one in the waiting area. He also gave me a voucher for a free balance and alignment for any car any time at any location. He was very sincere in his apology and was very professional and empathetic. Overall, I'd probably come back if the prices can't be beat (although I hear other companies offer better deals) and if it's on a weekday and I'm dealing with Nick or someone other than the other 2 guys that I've seen. It's a decent price for a decent product and service but they definitely have lots of room for improvement. Info about my purchase: I bought Fuzion tires for an SUV and was $311 for 2 with all the balance, alignment, and other services they advertise. They also rotated the other 2 tires and installed one of my existing tires on to my spare rim as I had requested. The long awaited alignment was done correctly and they did not rush it which was greatly appreciated. It took approximately 40 minutes. read more

Worst tire buying experience ever. Ordered tires online from their site and made appt for weekend. Confirmation page said someone will call to confirm the appt. Noone called. Showed up for appt on time, they had separate line showing for appt. But the front clerks didn't care, they were taking whoever walked in first so I got to the front after 3 people. They told me An hour and half to 2 hours to get it done. So I decided to hang around. After 2 hours decided to check back. Again waiting behind people in front of counter, the clerk told me maybe another hour. I was shocked and asked him what was time u guys gave me initially, he replies that was to get to the front of the line for the car. I didn't know what to say. Again went back to ask, another guy told me maybe 20 more minutes which really turned out to be more than hour. This was a nightmare. Spent my whole day just waiting. read more

The dispassionate and abrasive staff blamed me for not having an appointment and having the audacity to pay 50 god damned dollars for an alignment (which, of course, they couldn't complete). In all my years of using this place, I have never once needed an appointment or had to wait half as long! For all of your tire and rim needs, be sure to go literally anywhere else. I have to say I've been treated very well here on a number of different visits. Plugged a tire for me just as they were about to close. My tire was losing air fast and not sure where I would have gone had they just locked the doors. I was willing to pay extra but they only charged me $6.00. Another time they let me come in with tires I bought elsewhere and set me up with a package deal which included dismounting old tires, mounting new tires, lifetime balance, lifetime rotation, and a 4 wheel alignment all for $99. You can beat that anywhere. Heck labor rate anywhere today is $90 hr. All that work and no problems. I'm ready ti come back soon for a free tire rotation. Be patient here. They are always busy and take a little longer which I don't mind. I'd rather wait longer knowing they're not doing a rush job. Very happy with this location. read more
