Town was an incredible dinner. Lilly our server (and bartender) was amazing and made the experience even better! We had the Short Ribs, Bay Scallop Casino, Dragon Roll, Tuna Tartare, and Tuckernuck Clam Chowder!

We had a really great meal here. Finding a place that's open for a casual dinner in November on Nantucket can be a bit of a challenge. I'd actually never been to Town before, but we walked by and the music was playing and it looked so inviting, that we popped in. Our server Kat was so friendly and attentive. We loved chatting with her and she helped us pick perfect dinners. We started with the mussels which were so good (that broth and the sausage!) I opted for the beet salad and my boyfriend got the lamb which was absolutely incredible. Definitely a nice, casual spot to grab dinner and a drink!

We had such a great experience with Malcom! He went above and beyond to ensure we had a great time. The chips and guacamole were average. The clam chowder was really flavorful. I thought the bolognese and shrimp scampi were good sized portions and there was a lot of work involved in making it. Small restaurant and the female bartender was a bit snippy but overall great experience

Small and cozy place, perfect for a dim lit dinner. Their service was quick, and our waiter was very attentive. There is indoor and outdoor seating. I would recommend their steak!

More than just sushi.... We enjoyed the ribs and all the other food that came. We will be back again.

Went to dinner the other night & was quite happy with the choice in restaurant. Due to COVID, Town and Queequeg's have combined to have 1 menu with their respective top items. How awesome!! We sat on the Town side and had prompt service, never low on water or drinks, and an attentive staff! Mussels: Amazing. I don't even like mussels and I found these to be tender, full of flavor, simply delicious - not chewy or fishy at all. Truffle fries: a must - the thin fry was full of flavor. Spicy tuna roll: tasted fresh and good sized. Honestly, was a classic spicy tuna roll but considering that's what I ordered, it was great!

    Assorted sushi!

Every dish that came out was packed with flavor, super fresh, and really creative - the kind of food that makes you want to order "one more" just to see what else they can do. Cocktails are just as impressive and pair perfectly with the food. Service was spot on - friendly, knowledgeable, and great with recommendations without ever feeling pushy. It's overpriced. It's OK and it's very limited. I imagine the owner is the chef and he must have a huge ego to charge these prices. Drinks. the drink I had was good, but why I pay $21 for it is beyond my comprehension. and I'm telling you there was like no alcohol in it didn't feel a thing and I don't drink much so it should've got to me right away. Atmosphere. It's small. it's tight. It's loud. its non-romantic when you are trying to have a conversation with your partner And the nerve to charge a 4% fee to pay for the back of the room staff. What the hell does that even mean why don't you just pay them a good wage and at these high prices they must be making a fortune 3 starters. 4 drinks. $200 spent. never again sorry but the truth must be told

Upstairs there a barroom and a couple of dining rooms. I would not imagine they could have so much seating. I had the octopus and pot belly. The octopus was tender. And lastly, 3) the food. While meals historically have been a mixed bag, the food overall is a sure bet. Additionally, I love that the Oran Mor is more of an older crowd. I'm in my hanging with a 65 year old+ chic granny more than a 20 something year old influencer era. Ok, some more details. My batched cocktail off the menu was great - the cherry rickey. I love all things cherry and this hit home with a perfect mix of cherry and boozy flavors. We went with the snail app, the special crab pasta and the potato crusted fish. The crab pasta was solid, with the pasta being cooked perfectly. A tad bland, but that could just be the dish was more focused on that crab vs heavy seasoning. The fish was delicious, but disappointment came in with the sides. Sides are usually my favorite part of any dish, and the eggplant was burnt and ultimately kind of inedible and the veggie medley or whatever it was, was indeed a bit sad and underwhelming. My husband and I both were like womp womp. Even the additionally ordered creamed spinach was more of a creamy spinach soup vs spinach which we also would not order again. No dessert because Juice Bar be like around the corner. :) Service was great. We have been seated in the dining room and by the bar, and I appreciate both vibes. Overall, solid. Nantucket dining can be hit or miss with rezzies hard to find, so if Oran Mor is a possibility, I don't think you'll be disappointed (maybe just with the sides!).

Just a nice, artisan dish akin to something you'd get in New Bedford or Fall River. Fantastic. 5-Stars. Now their lobster roll. Imagine a hot dog, OK, and now imagine one of those little Jimmy Dean breakfast sausage links for size comparison. The volume of finely shredded lobster meat, that was also warm in that hot dog roll was smaller than the Jimmy Dean link. 0-Stars. My recommendations for a "good" lobster roll is to go anywhere else on island. I'd recommend Sayle's Seafood, The Nantucket Lobster Trap or Stubby's. In fact, I'd just stay clear of the Club Car altogether, it is one of those places for the self-focused New York / Miami new [vulgar] money jet-set that treat the island like their play-thing... you know, you see their empty beer cans in the morning around town.
