What an amazing dinner we had at Sea Grille! Everything was perfect. The oysters were so fresh and delicious. I had the Nantucket Seafood Brodo, which has a little bit of everything: lobster, clams, mussels, scallops and calamari. It sits in a fennel and saffron broth. It was my birthday, so we went all out and got several desserts. Our waitress was very attentive. Overall we were blown away! 10 out of 10 highly recommend.

one of the best meals i've ever had! started with a dirty martini and lobster bisque. they had an amazing bread basket. me and maddy split the salmon and lobster and crab tortellini. everything was 10/10. service great!

Popped in to satisfy my chowder craving along with a solid Caesar salad. The place was packed (which I was happy to see as I've been a guest there for decades) so I could only sit at the bar. The chowder lacked its usual seasoning and I didn't pick up any of the typical herb accent (rosemary or thyme). The Caesar was very nice and the croutons crunchy. The service by the bartender was efficient & all smiles. Visiting the Sea Grille over the past 30 years has always been a pleasure. I'll likely go back & have their lobster bisque with puff pastry next time. It's SO good! The grilled lobster & house made fettuccine is on the same list! If you choose to go in summer...best to make a reservation.

Everything at seagrille was above and beyond for our anniversary dinner! The lobster bisque with the puff pastry was insane! Deconstructed ravioli for dinner was fresh with shrimp, lobster, and scallops. The raw oysters were also insane and very fresh. Our server was super friendly and welcoming! Overall the perfect spot to celebrate or just for a night out!

Congratulations on 35 years! We come to Nantucket every spring and this is a must on our list. When asking industry people ( bartenders, front desk, waitresses and waiters, etc) for their suggestions, the Sea Grille is always tops on their list. We sat at the bar tonight for a lighter dinner and the food and hospitality were perfect. Staff is very friendly and attentive. Was able to speak with Chef Tucker tonight as well who obviously runs a great kitchen. Highly recommended!

We wanted to come here for the smoked blue fish and it did not disappoint. It was indeed, smoky. It also didnt have a whole lot of filler like mayo so you can taste the fresh fish. We also really enjoyed the mussles. They are in a curry broth with fresh peas. It is a broth you want to eat with a spoon. So good.

Filet Au Poivre (not the best photo, and I wish I had taken a picture before I cut into it. The presentation was much nicer.)

An amazing find on this island! I believe it's a local favorite as well! The food was amazing! The ambience was nice and quiet enough that you could have a conversation with your guests. The service was great and timely. Can't wait to go back!

This restaurant has a special middle ground for families with young kids, where they totally know how to handle young kids but also make grown ups feel like they're going out somewhere more special than they usually can with the kiddos. At least, that's how we felt! Our waitress was really sweet, and she knew how to act quickly to get kids' orders in and extra bread on the table. (And another round of drinks!) Of course, the food is also incredibly good. I was actually stunned by how good and pretty my yellowish tuna looked. The spot feels upscale without being too stuffy - just the "right amount of stuffy" for Nantucket.

Wow. The food incredible, especially the halibut special they had going. The service was perfection. I'm not sure her name but she was attentive and great with recommendations. The place was clean and overall just a great experience especially with other things on the island closing for the season. Will definitely be back if I come back to Nantucket!

Food was 10/10. Service was 10/10. Everything we had was delicious. There's also a complimentary bread service that was delicious. The service we received was great. Definitely recommend

We called ahead and made a reservation. We were seated immediately. Service was kind and efficient. We started with the clam chowder (oops, think they call it quahog) and it was very good. Then we ordered the open form ravioli and stuffed lobster. Both were outstanding and we would get them again. The sauce with the ravioli was wonderful!!

    Caviar tots, crab cake, mussels

This was by far the best meal we had on Nantucket. Every dish was absolutely stellar, and we were shocked with the creativity of some of the dishes. Also, I would do unspeakable things for that butter cake. Jeez Louise that was insane. Cannot wait to go back!

Chef Emmanuel "Manny" Rojas might be one of the best chefs on Nantucket. This former New Yorker and…read moreMomofuku Ssam Bar alum draws from culinary traditions of every sort, from Mexican and Caribbean, to Korean and Thai. Perhaps in reflection of his New York City roots, all these varied culinary cultures are thrown into the same kitchen, tossed together with abandon, and sprinkled with some Chef Rojas magic, resulting in some of the most interesting, intelligent flavors you can find on Nantucket. The current menu includes dishes like Taiwanese fried prawns, duck wontons and street corn strips with miso aioli, cotija and furikake, which play alongside ingredients like kimchi, water chestnuts, and curtido! Perhaps not surprisingly, given Chef Rojas's Momofuku pedigree, the dinner menu features Korean Barbecue Pork, a large-format family meal that closely resembles Chef David Chang's famous bo ssäm, a slow-roasted, sugar-and-salt-cured whole pork shoulder. KOREAN PORK BBQ ($170; sushi rice - cucumber kimchi - korean bbq sauce - ginger scallion sauce - bibb lettuce wraps) allegedly feeds four to six people. Given the small dent that the four of us made in the dish, even with a few growth-spurting ravenous eaters, the dish could probably feed eight hungry adults. Be prepared for leftovers and meal plan accordingly! At a more recent Sunday brunch, we had the wonderfully culturally ambiguous TUNA TOSTADA ($27; pickled jicama - aji amarillo - charred cipollini & sesame puree - shallot). It was a bit Mexican, a bit Peruvian, a bit East Asian -- and a lot delicious. I'm one of those people who don't get all the hoopla over AVOCADO TOAST, but the Progeny seem to be on the bandwagon. The version served at or, The Whale ($22; cherry tomato - fried egg - everything bagel spice on toasted sourdough) might just win me over. Excellent, ripe sliced avocados came topped with a sunny-side-up egg, lots of tender microgreens, and slightly pan-seared sweet cherry tomatoes. The EGGS BENEDICT ($26; choice of country ham or smoked salmon - poached eggs - house biscuit - hollandaise) were classic and well made with perfectly runny yolk and super rich, buttery hollandaise sauce. But the most delicious thing on the plate was the side of hash browns, a generous slab that was beautifully browned to a crisp on the outside. Cocktails are delicious, though a touch wimpy by our lush standards. Predictably, I'm fond of the entertainingly named UNCLE BAD NEWS ($17; jalapeño-infused tequila, passionfruit, lime) since I'm a sucker for any cocktail with jalapeño as an ingredient.

The food was delicious and expensive. We had the asparagus salad and summer salad. Both were delicious and fresh. Steak frites were delicious and the serving size was decent. Duck carnitas was the hit! The duck was delicious and tender. The toppings (pickled onions, pickled veggies, salsa) with the corn tortillas were just right. You prep your own tacos with all the fillings. This was our favorite and we enjoyed the unique concept to use duck! It was an expensive meal but worth it! Service was great. I took more photos but realized they were quite blurry due to it being dark out and I didn't give my phone enough time to capture the photo. I wanted to eat!!! I would definitely come again.

Walked about a mile from my hotel to get there the place was happening. There were two bouncers at the door. I said, how are you doing and walked in. Went to the bar and ordered a Modelo. The bartender did not ask me for any money which I thought was strange but I figured I'll catch him on the next one or on the way out. I went to walk over to where the merch was and saw a buffet and then I noticed passed hors d'oeuvres. I walked back to the bouncer and I said is this a private party and he said yes I was embarrassed so I finished my beer. Left some money on the bar and walked out. As I was walking out somebody the owner or manager, I presume yelled after me. He said you know that was there a private party right. I said they let me in. He's cursed at me and then I said they let me in. I left money on the bar. I didn't know he cursed at me again called me a liar and accused me of I don't know what and said "I don't want your money" which was already inside on the bar.
