My town's quaint city center! It's a beautiful small park in downtown LG where there are concerts in the summer, the farmer's market on Sundays, and is a good place for residents and their families to gather.

The Town Plaza is located in the heart of Los Gatos so you can imagine there are many things to do & see, especially during the weekends. There are cute little boutiques, places to eat (break, brunch, lunch, dinner) & coffee shops. On Sundays, the farmers market surrounds the park so it's nice to bring the family while supporting local farmers(!!). If you have children, remember to bring a change of clothes because there's a mini water park for them to cool off. It is wise to bring a blanket to sit on so you can relax & enjoy your time too. There's a few benches but they're usually taken so just come prepared. For those who love dogs (like me!), Los Gatos love their pups so you can bring yours too :)! I love dog friendly towns because you get to see soo many pups! Most stores have water for dogs so they'll be hydrated! Nearby, there's the Los Gatos Creek trail for those who love hiking. I didn't come prepared to hike when I stopped by but I would definitely come by to visit. Overall, because of the location & the range of activities to do in this park, it's 5 stars for me!

So unfortunate! Praise God they are even still doing it I guess.

Ask the Community - Town Plaza Park

Does anyone know if the water fountain is always on, regardless of the season/weather? And are the hours actually only 12-6?

I have come here countless times over the years. It's one of my favorite spots. It's peaceful, not…read moreoverly crowded, and has a really calming, almost zen feel to it. The views of the water and surrounding hills make it a great place to reset for a bit. Perfect for a quiet walk, light hike, or just getting away from the noise for a while.

Who Gives a Dam?…read more Man-made reservoir in the Santa Cruz Mountains that spans a solid 338-acres and is the third-largest in Santa Clara County. It is situated inside a ±950-acre County Park that has a variety of activities for all manner of outdoor lovers. The Good: *The southerly "beginning" to the Los Gatos Creek Trail which runs for ±10miles to the north. *Rowing, paddling, and fishing are all allowed (after proper inspections and licensing ofc) *Picnic tables near the reservoir *Limekiln trail was mostly shaded, which is good because this are can get very warm in the summer. *Park trails connect to Sierra Azul OSP and St Joseph's Hill OSP *Mountain bikes (NOT electric!) are OK *Leashed dogs are permitted. *Fairly decent cell phone signal (at least where we were) The Meh: *Parking is $6 if you park inside the lot, but free if you use the "street" parking (pay attention to signs!) or small dirt lots near the trailheads. *In regards to the parking, you don't need to park in the lot unless you're going to use/visit the reservoir itself. Otherwise, just find where your trail is and park there. *No swimming The Ugly: *We did the Limekiln Trail and that was a little rough-&-ready in some areas, as the years of water damage and infrequent maintenance are starting to take their toll.
