Jessica was the planner for our wedding in Marina Del Rey in November 2023. She came highly recommended from our venue (the Marina De Rey Hotel). She started working with us over a year in advance (I was a nervous bride!) and kept us on track throughout the whole process. Part of the reason I hired a wedding planner was so that none of the stress fell back on our families, and I have to say it was such a blessing to have her. Our families got to enjoy the process and relax knowing there was someone with great experience handling every detail. I went with most of the vendors Jessica recommended and truly have nothing but great words to say about them as well. That is a perk of having her - she knows great people and works so well with them. As someone who really had no idea about the wedding process, and as a couple who had no "vision" other than great food and a good party, she was the best thing for us! Jessica and Town Social not only saved the day, they made our event memorable, fun, and are now on the shortlist of businesses we will work with in the future. Our team frequently hosts "off sites" where we connect with each other, celebrate the work we've done, and rally behind the work we will do in the future. With all of the COVID hubbub, we had a difficult time coming up with an activity we could do remotely as individuals but that would actually bring us together as a team. Town Social Events is a company that I highly recommend using for your next party. A perfectionist myself, but deciding that I needed to enjoy the season instead of just work work working, I hired Jessica and MJ to coordinate our annual holiday firework festivities. I had a few change in plans and Jess and MJ were so amazing to work with. I will first start with their attention to detail- impeccable. They listened to everything I wanted and went with it. They used a lady (I hope I don't get this wrong) Madam X for catering, SHE WAS WOW! A health nut myself and one who wants to serve people good food, her food was spot on. She made bbq chicken right from my grill, an amazing kale salad, veggies, quiche and a beautifully arranged veggie tray. I received many many compliments the day of and next days following on how delish the food was. Apparently the cookies were the best anyone ever tasted and I didn't get any being the host and barely having time to say hi to everyone and anyone (you know how it goes when you are throwing the party). Anyway, Madam X delivered me some a few days later. My guests were right-- Delightful. Jess and MJ also hired a fantastic "Santa" for the kids. Our house is always overflowing with kids. LOVE THAT and them. Anyway, every kid at the party couldn't believe how cool it was that the real Santa was at our party. (I wish I had a photo, he should be the real Santa) Jess and MJ also knew how important it was to have the kids entertained so the parents could enjoy themselves too. They arranged some adorable college gals to come assist with crafts for the kids. Again, I wish I had pictures. They did these snowman globes in Kerr jars, ornaments and each kid received their own adorable hot chocolate mug (of course we had hot chocolate and homemade marshmallows to accompany the mugs) to take home as a parting gift. The party was a huge hit and I will use Jess and MJ over and over and over again for any and all parties I have.
