I took my kids to see Inside Out 2. After we got popcorn and drinks I realized I made a mistake on the start time and we arrived a half hour late for the movie; I felt awful and asked if we could swap our tickets for another time. The manager ended up helping with the transaction and he offered to set us up in an empty theater so we could watch the movie! This was seriously a life saver and something I never would have expected! I was so grateful and so were my kids! This place is the best! read more

Had friends coming from an hour away for the movie. Time of movie on website was wrong so we ended up having the wait 45 min. to see the show. Website listed senior price of $5.OO before 4:30p.m. on Friday. Attendant who sold us the tickets said that has NEVER been the policy. That was not true because we have gone on Friday before 4:30p.m. and paid the senior rate of $5.00. Tried to use our Regal loyalty card. j Attendant told us those are not taken any more. The least the theater staff could do is update the website so when you check online you get correct information. Also, why push the loyalty card, which is supposed to give you points and a discount, if they don't accept them any longer. What a crock! Disappointing visit from start to finish. WIll find another theater with reputable information for my next movie visit. Very disappointing. No wonder the place was virtually empty. read more

Had to wait forever for concessions because the employee was on her phone. Missed a solid chunk of the first part of the movie (should've been there earlier, but I thought 5-10 mins before the run time would be fine but it fr took that long for her to finish whatever she was doing) until she finally walked over to help me. I was already out in O'Fallon and decided to see a movie. This theatre had the movie I wanted to see at a time I wanted to see it and it was only another 12 minutes away. OK I'll give it a go. The ticket price was cheap, $5.xx? My bottle of water at the concession stand was expensive, $4.61!?! The seats in this theatre were absolutely horrible. Sorry I'm spoiled and I'm used to the fancy reserved seating now. These were regular movie seats but even worse. I lifted the arm rest and it didn't go all the way back so it was pressing into my shoulder. Not the theatre's fault but there was a man in front of me making a lot of noise during the movie and his cell phone rang twice out loud! Never again. read more

This theater is very run down. Several broken seats. There's a saying, you get what you pay for. Went to a 3pm show to see the new Halloween movie, rated R. I was sitting in the handicapped seating with my 28 yr old daughter. This theater allowed a bunch of underage kids into the theater. Normally I wouldn't care as long as they dont disrupt the movie for others and just enjoy the movie. I couldn't determine which group of teens it was. Complained to the manager at the start of the movie, she was going to take care of it. About halfway through the movie I went to the concession stand and complained to those employees. One of them came in and said something to the kids. They behaved about 5 minutes and went back to the antics of laughing, talking, yelling out. All of these kids sat in the last few rows of the theater and I was sitting up front, that tells you how loud it was. After the movie I stood outside talking to family when we saw Dad pull up outside and a bunch of those kids got into the car. Those kids should have been ejected from the theater without a refund. They were intentionally being noisy but management was too lazy to disconnect from her cellphone long enough to care. I guess there's a reason why this theater is cheap, run down and not a lot of customers. I don't recommend this theater if you plan on actually hearing the movie you pay for. But it's a cheap babysitter for the day and underage kids can come in and disrupt the entire theater. Take your pick read more

I haven't been to a Wehrenberg Theater since they changed hands & became Marcus Wehrenberg Theaters. Went to see Glass Castles yesterday at Town Square and I have to say, the difference was noticeable immediately. The auditorium was filthy. It clearly hadn't been cleaned between movies and the floors were so sticky we had to try several different rows before we found one we could bear. Garbage was everywhere & the whole theater seemed to be greatly understaffed. Soda was flat & popcorn tasted stale. I was always impressed with Wehrenberg's policy of employing Physically challenged individuals as ticket takers, etc. I was sorry to see this does not appear to be the case with Marcus theaters. The woman sitting near me said many employees have been let go, including these handicapped employees. If she is right about that, I think I'd just as soon take my business elsewhere. It was not a pleasant way to spend a free Friday afternoon. read more

We had to sit through 40 minutes of commercials! The theater was nice enough but they gave me my popcorn in a drink carrier and the butter soaked through to my pants, which are now ruined. They were trying to be nice, giving me extra popcorn, but they should be aware of this problem. read more

Went to see Mama Mia 2. The bathroom was filthy with a roach crawling across the floor. The seats were so filthy in between the seats, The thought of roaches at my feet was a distraction for the entire movie. Can't go back. read more

I haven't written a review on this movie theater because they are average. They show movies, they charge the same price as their competitors, the teenagers that work there are nice enough, the theaters are clean, the bathrooms have even been clean 10% of the time. In fact, if I didn't have an average problem that was escalated to ridiculously stupid levels by inept management, I would probably be writing them a decent review. They ran out of Diet Pepsi. Not a huge deal normally, but I had just bought a self serve soda for the price of a down payment on a house. I politely returned to the counter and informed the staff that they were out of the only diet beverage that they carried. My husband is diabetic and would have been comatose by the end of the movie if he would have gotten another option. The kid said, "Yeah, I know. Sorry." I said, "Well if I would have known, I wouldn't have purchased the soda." She said, "Well, if you want you can talk to one of the managers." It was at that time that the manager (another kid) walked by and I relayed the kid and my conversation. He said they offered tea which was a viable alternative to my beverage of choice, except that I didn't want tea and popcorn. He them decided to attempt to dress me down for bringing a problem to the girl at the counter and told me the next time I had an issue, I was to take it to him. He argued with me over whether he would give me my money back!!! I got my refund and will see it in 7 days, I hope!! Regal is nearby. They show the exact same movies at the same exorbitant prices and even have Coke instead of Pepsi. Go there and spend your money. I will from now on. read more

The lobby was nice and clean and the quality of the movie and sound were great. However my husband and I were far from comfortable. the air in the theatre was cold and humid, we actually felt sticky after leaving. It had been so long since the floor had been mopped that our feet stuck as we were walking to our seat. The seats are so small and close together that my husband and I were literally shoulder to shoulder, thank god no one was on the other side of me or it would have been an extremely uncomfortable movie! Seriously, I've been on planes with more seat room. The rows were so close together that someone could not pass in front of us unless we stood up. Just because of the small seat size alone we will not be back. I don't want to sit right on top of someone I don't know. read more

Management is great! The theaters are clean and the employees are so great, especially the ushers. Hard workers if I've ever seen it.

The teen staff are friendly and (mostly) professional but the place is dirty and doesn't look like it is cleaned very often. The floors and cup holders in the theater were sticky, the trash cans in the bathroom were overflowing onto the floor, there was urine and toilet paper all over the bathroom stalls, and the soda fountain had soda spilled everywhere. I will be looking for a cleaner, nicer theater to visit next time I want to see a movie. read more

The theater is very outdated. The seats are often questionable and sometimes there is a weird stench odor coming from the soda machines. I've seen numerous gnats swarming around the soda machine as well. Some of the theaters have a strong odor and are hot. I've never been in a movie theater that you didn't need a blanket. The employees should practice the routine of washing their hands in concessions, I've seen some come from sweeping floors to scoop popcorn without washing their hands. I have also seen some workers on their phone then proceed to help customers once they come. The popcorn taste weird, my mom got sick from it one time, & I found a gnat my ice cube another time.The head manger is not friendly at all I believe her name is Marlo. She is not welcoming and often seems like she has a attitude. I have seen rope stands / barriers in a few theaters blocking steps, I am pretty sure that is a fire safety hazard. The floors are a mess & the movie time/ entrance / cleaning time outside the showing theater are 90% always incorrect. However I do love the fact they hire people with special needs and disabilities! It's to see them being part of the workforce community! Staff overall is very helpful and friendly, just needs to work on a few things. There prices are very reasonable. read more

Decided to enjoy a movie in my birthday followed by a nice lunch somewhere nearby. We chose the 10am showing of Logan. By 7 minutes after 10am, the theater was still well lit (none of the usual promos on the screen, just a big white screen). I went out and asked the person working the box office and he came back to the theater and looked around and told us he would take care of it. At 15 after when nothing had changed, we gave up. When we asked for a refund the guy said they were rebooting. He barely offered an apology and refunded our money. There was no technical difficulty; just failure a failure to prepare. Both my and I were very surprised that the person who provided our refund did not offer to engage management, show any concern for their mistake, nor did he offer any coupons or passes in effort to get us to return. Next time we can go to a different theater. read more
