11/29/19 This will be short and this will be sweet. Finding parking in Washington D.C can be a pain in the ass, but not this time. After looking around for a few minutes, I decided to park near the restaurant we would be eating named Corduroy. The staff members I met were cool and down to earth. The staff members work with Marriott Courtyard and Residence Inn Parking. The prices may seem steep, but for 0 to 4 hours, its $35 after tax, and $42 for 4 to 8 hours. $5 tax is added to whatever amount of time you spend there. Oh, and if your eating at one of the two Marriott restaurants, the price for parking drops, but I don't have the information on what the drop is. I shall return. read more

The posted daily rate for parking was $60. However, I was charged $72 due to an additional 13% service fee and tax that were not clearly disclosed as part of the advertised rate. Charging a service fee on top of the posted daily rate without making that cost transparent upfront is misleading and unacceptable. In addition, the parking experience itself was significantly below a reasonable standard for a lot charging $60 per day. The kiosk malfunctioned for the car several vehicles ahead of mine, which caused me and at least 50 other cars to be trapped in the lot near the front of the line for approximately 30 minutes. The lot also was not properly striped, resulting in uneven and double parking. For a parking lot charging this rate, it is reasonable to expect either a clearly marked, well-maintained lot or an attendant present to direct vehicles and ensure cars are parked safely and efficiently. Given both the undisclosed service fee, being trapped in the lot for an extended period, concerns about vehicle damage due to the lack of striping, and the apparent understaffing, I do not believe the fee charged was justified. The posted rate of $60 per day was already quite high, and the actual experience fell far below what that price would reasonably suggest. I requested a refund after I saw my receipt and I still haven't heard back. read more

Update: the reason why I posted this review here is because the people who are working in the main lobby and ED are contracted by Towne Park, they're not directly from the hospital they're a contracted company. I ended up finding out because I actually ended up going back to the hospital to get the business card of the manager. she needs to retrain those people especially the one that is in the ED since clearly she wasn't doing her job. I went to visit my dad at Valley hospital in Parmus NJ. I parked my car infront of tge main entrance and the valet kid gave me a ticket and I handed him my keys. After almost 2 hours I came down and gave the valet my ticket, I noticed my car is running the same way as I left it with the AC on full blast and the keys inside the car. The car was running the entire time I was inside the hospital and never was moved. The original valet i gave my key to wasn't there so his buddy said sorry we were busy and walked off like nothing happened. I am upset cause I wasted most of my gas and somebody could have stolen it. The valet driver hit my car with their car. Refused to wait until police arrived. I was told by valet manager & hospital security they would take car of it. Two weeks later I got email stating they are not responsible as I self parked...my parking didn't cause the damage and I have it on video them hitting my car not once but twice. would not suggest using their service or parking where their valets do unless you don't care about condition of your car. Funny thing is I am sure they didn't tell the other car's owner they hit a vehicle. The second vehicle they hit mine with was Massachusetts plate 1XWC47. Bet they didn't tell that person either. Absolutely ridiculous that you are trusted with people's possessions and don't respect your job or the business. I used the Washington Marriott at Metro Center hotel contracted Towne Park valet service, on 7-10 November 2024. I checked my car in on Thursday, retrieved it on Sunday, with no in and outs in-between. My car was returned, damaged. The valet had an attitude because I said something about it. Although, he agreed that there was some damage. The drivers side front bumper area was scuffed up and the camera was indented inside its well, out of place. The rear tire rim was also scraped. When I asked for the procedure to address the issue the valet would only say that he would take my information and they would contact me. I explained that I lived in another State and that I needed information from him so that I could reach out. He refused to give me any information, only wanted me to trust that someone would contact me. I asked him for my keys before reaching out to the hotel manager. He refused to give them to me. I insisted and he finally gave them to me. I went inside the hotel to speak with the hotel manager. She wasn't available so I spoke to the desk manager who came outside with me and I showed her (Nadine Wright) the damage. We went back into the hotel so that she could give me some information. She gave me her card , wrote down my information and assured me that her supervisor would get in contact with me. In the meanwhile, the valet came into the hotel all excited for the manager to come back outside. We went outside and the scuff marks had been rubbed out. Mine you I had taken a picture of my car upon seeing the damage, and the car wasn't in their care anymore. The valet told the manager that it was only dirt. I said well can you explain the camera being damaged. He didn't reply. I had taken a picture of the car prior to turning it over to the valet, I took a picture of the car with the scuff marks, and I took a picture of the car after the scuff marks were rubbed out. I also took a picture of the valet that tried to remove proof of damage. A few weeks went by, I never heard from the desk managers supervisor, I never heard from the valet manager, and I could not get through to either when trying to reach out. I finally called the hotels corporate office who opened a case, gave me a case number and the name of the hotel manager (Melissa Gale Lechelt) to reach out to. I tried daily to call the hotel to speak with Melissa. After a week, someone finally answered the phone. I asked to speak with the hotel manager, they said yes but may I tell her what its about. I explained that corporate directed me to her to address an issue with the valet company. I was on hold for about 5 min. then they returned and said the hotel manager was not at the hotel but she would reach out to the Towne Park valet manager (Abdul Mathis) and have him give me a call. I never heard from him, so I reached out several times and finally he answered the phone. I told him my name and why I was calling. He aggressively started asking me if there were any visible marks on the car, stating that with no marks there is no damage. I explained that the valet buffed the scuff marks out in an effort to say the car wasn't damaged but the camera and rim damage were still visible. He then changed his attitude and said that he tried to call and email me. I never received any missed calls or messages, and I definitely didn't receive an email. He then said send me your email address, and I will send you a form for your information. I texted him my email address, although according to him he claimed to have tried to email and call. He sent a form asking for personal information. After seeking my own legal advice, I sent him the car information and stated that I would give my personal information to their insurance representative as needed. I received an initial call from the insurance rep, that I missed, and she left me a message. After that, I called daily trying to return her call but was unsuccessful. I then left a review on the hotel page and immediately got a call from the insurance rep. Without asking me what my claim was for or any other pertinent information she told me my claim is denied. I asked her if she wanted to know what my claim is and she said that they looked at the video footage of my car being taken to the garage and didn't see any damage. She also said that if I wanted to put in a claim I would need to go through my own insurance company. Mind you, my car was in their car three days without my taking it in or out. I have before and after pictures not only of the outside damage but inside also. Towne Park wants me to use my insurance to keep their claims down. It has been two months and I am still trying to seek damage for my car. If you drive a luxury car do not let them valet park it. Washington Merriott at Metro Center contracts Towne Park but they do not stand by them when they damage your vehicle. They have completely dismissed my situation as if it has nothing to do with them. PLEASE NOTE. This is not a 1 star review. This is a -5 star review. Looking at everyone else's experience and mine, this is one of the absolute worst companies to deal with. I used their valet service at a Marriott in DC late July for a convention. When my car was returned, it was all scratched up on the right side. I don't know what incompetent morons these people hire, but good god I have no idea how they are still afloat as a company. I had to constantly call them and the body shop back and forth to get the moving with the process.... After getting my damages estimated, the body shop found additional damages related to the incident at the front of my car. However, the valet company is denying any liability of it. I am absolutely infuriated. Moreover, after being told the company processed a check for me for the damages, I never got it and had to call them. The attendant damaged the vehicle in downtown San Antonio, the supervisor filled out a report claiming that the vehicle was damaged in their care and I received an email about the procedure and method of repair, and I sent them an invoice, but I haven't heard from them for a month. Consumer alert! DO NOT trust your vehicle to these people. We checked in at the Dolphin Hotel in WDW and trusted our vehicle to Towne Park. When we checked out it took over 45 minutes for our vehicle to be retrieved and no explanation was offered. There was no visible damage to our vehicle. After returning home we had our vehicle in for some warranty work and discovered $2100 of damage to our skid plate and radiator supports. The mechanic said it appeared someone impacted a curb or parking brick at high speed. He also said someone had accessed the onboard dash computer and turned off the collision light. As a side we also noticed our "road cash" (Less than $10 is singles and change) and a personal item was missing from our console. We filed a claim with our insurance company and told them we had no idea how this happened. As we have a safe drive device they were able to provide the exact time, date and location of the accident. The valet parking lot at the Dolphin Hotel while our car was in the custody of Towne Park. We left multiple phone messages with Towne Park, none of which were returned. We were finally able to reach an on-site manager who required a written statement in order to file a claim. In our statement we provided the Insurance Company data, the servicing dealer info and pictures. They sent an acknowledgement and said it would take 3 to 5 days to resolve. After a week we heard nothing and called and spoke to a claims analyst who said our claim had not even been looked at and would take an additional 10 days to resolve. During that time they did not take or return our calls or e-mails. After 5 weeks we were able to reach them by phone and they informed us the claim had been denied 2 weeks ago and that they had sent us a letter and 2 e-mails. We did not receive any correspondences from them and have phone and e-mails records to show they did answer our inquiries. On the Friday after Thanksgiving we took our son to Disneyland for the first time. Flights were expensive, so to save money we drove down from Oakland and stayed at Marriott Courtyard Theme Park in Anaheim. Like a lot of hotels these days, you have to valet your car so they can upcharge you for parking, in this case $24 a day. Our vehicle has one slightly unusual feature--a manual transmission. Minutes after leaving the car with the attendants they came and fetched us at the front desk because they couldn't figure out how to put it in reverse. So I went out, leaned in the window, and showed them. Easy. We even offered to park the car for them, but were told valet only. We went up to the room and immediately there was a call from the valet. Something's wrong with the car, can you come help? I walked with the driver, Gregory Vega, and his manager (Christian) to the garage. Gregory was explaining that the shifter wasn't working and so he had to get out and push the car into the spot. It's worth noting the car was backed in, so he was clearly trying to use the reverse gear that gave him trouble. I hopped in the car, felt the shifter, and indeed something was very wrong. The shifter didn't register the gears at all, but was instead floppy and loose. My very first car was a stick and I've driven them all my life, but I've never encountered anything like this before. We filed a report with Towne Park. On the form I filled out what happened according to me, and Gregory filled out his report, which I present in its entirety: "Valet was parking the vehicle and when he tried to shift gears it became loose and vehicle was unable to move." Now I suppose it's possible that the car could have chosen this very moment for the stick to just break for, like, no reason at all. But the timing was certainly suspicious. We took a Lyft to dinner where we stressed out about the situation. Rather than enjoy our vacation, we were now trying to figure out how we could possibly fix our car in time to get back home on Monday for school and work. When we returned to the hotel we got a contact for the regional manager, Octavio Montejano, and called him. He explained they would send a tow truck and I would find a mechanic open on Saturday. On Saturday, after many attempts to get a hold of him, Octavio clarified that what he meant was he would give me the number for a tow truck, which I would be paying for. Thanks guys. What followed was a long ordeal of me spending our holiday, at Disneyland, on the phone with various people from the valet company, AAA, the hotel, and the mechanic. Everything that could be fumbled was fumbled, and in the end our car did not make it to the mechanic until Monday afternoon. We bought last-minute flights for my partner and son to return home on Monday. I stayed with a friend for another day in the hope the car would be fixed quickly, but after assessing the situation, the mechanic reported that the pin that holds the shifter linkage together was missing. They would have to drop the transmission to reconnect it--would be a couple days. I teach as well as run a small company, so I flew back to Oakland Tuesday afternoon for work. Friday I returned to pick up the car. Our total costs with repairs, flights, and Lyft rides was just under $1,800. This doesn't include two days I had to take off, including one where I had to cancel class. We got a statement from the mechanic, Alfred Banks at S&K Euro in Westminster, where he notes: "When the vehicle first arrived, it was un-drivable. My mechanics had to physically push the vehicle inside the garage. Once the vehicle was diagnosed, my mechanics found the Gearshift Pin was missing, and could not be found on the vehicle. Based on the design of this Pin, a physical force had to have caused it to fall off. When this occurs, it's usually due to an inexperienced Driver not knowing how to drive a manual transmission. When the Driver gets caught in between gears, it tends to "Grind" on the transmission - causing too much strain on both the Gearshift and the connecting cable. It is this Pin that holds the two together. In my opinion, it is believed that the driver inadvertently caused this problem." We sent this statement along with our own to Towne Park but they have twice now denied any responsibility. I run a business myself, and ever so rarely a thing will go wrong. When it does, we fix it, even if we might believe it wasn't our fault, because that's how good businesses treat their customers. This could have been a very short story--Towne could have said, "No problem, we'll take care of it," and then taken care of it. I have little hope that Towne will do anything at this point, so howling into the wind on social media becomes my last resort. This business is owned, operated, and managed by crooks. As other reviews have stated, this company will be careless with you vehicle and likely cause damage which of which they will try to deny accountability. I had experience with Towne Park Valet at the Philadelphia Downtown Marriott. I was there for a convention, and was the client providing the services of the convention, so I paid to have my truck valet parked so I could unload all of our gear at the valet circle. I had the truck parked for 3 nights and never taken out after it was checked in originally. Upon receiving my vehicle at checkout, the driver side mirror was completely cracked, both in the housing and the mirror itself. The damage looked consistent with backing the mirror into a stationary object and striking it, which I'm sure is exactly what happened. However, when providing the damage to the manager of the valet, I was told there was "no way" they could have been responsible for the damage because they "only pull forward when parking the vehicles." Wow, what a genius defense. The manager, who's name is Anthony Williams and I will publish it because the mental gymnastic it takes to gaslight a customer into believing they dropped their vehicle off with damage is astounding . Additionally, their account manager, who's name is Thomas Weist, also tried to double down on Mr. Williams claims and imply Towne Park is not liable for the damage its driver's caused to my vehicle. They have allegedly denied my insurance claim based on their "evidence" although, I'm not convinced any paper work was ever actually filed. I have yet to be provided a claim number, or even with their insurer's information, so I'm assuming they are lying about submitting the claim just like they are lying about everything else. On a small scale this is criminal, on a large scale, this is fraud, and I take it seriously as my company brought a lot of business to the Marriott with the convention. I have reported Towne Park Valet to the Pennsylvania Attorney General and the Better Business Bureau for it's damage to my vehicle and lack of accountability in addressing the matter. read more

Hello I have never had to go this far and leave a negative feedback but at the Hampton Inn Cleveland-Downtown they require a valet parking to park at the hotel. This is where the issue began. We had some small items stolen from our vehicle. This included a spare set of keys, phone charger, and some misc. business cards/gift cards. I was given the run around from Hotel management because the Valet Service (Towne Park) was contracted and out of their hands. Which I have a very hard time believing. Had to file a police report and claim with my insurance. This as been handled extremely poorly on the hotel and the Valet. read more

Our experience at the Graduate Richmond Hotel was fine, except that our vehicle was damaged while in their valet's care. Here is what happened: 1. We could either park on the street or entrust our 2017 Chevrolet Corvette to the valet. (We chose the valet.) 2. The valet acknowledged that he understood the vehicle would video record him. 3. The next morning, the vehicle had damage on the right front fender (estimated at more than $1000) 4. A claim was filed. 5. Towne Park, LLC, the parking company, denied the claim, but has not provided a copy of the inspection they say was done when the valet took the car (by the way, we have a video of him taking selfies in front of our car) nor have they provided copies of their investigation documentation. The Towne Park valet at the St. Joseph's Outpatient Pavilion (1140 W La Veta Ave, Orange, CA) crashed my car while parking it and did a good amount of damage. They told me not to worry, they'd take care of it. I called countless times & tried to get ahold of the contact issued to me, but she wouldn't call me back or give me any information. ONE OF THE WORST COMPANIES I HAVE EVER DEALT WITH. I ended up getting extremely upset, so I did some research and called multiple phone numbers listed for Towne Park online. Finally, someone competent called me back. I had just purchased a used car with very low mileage, in great condition, but since it was older, they ruled it as a total loss. They ended up offering a very small amount of money to fix it, which didn't cover much of anything, but that was my only option. It's frustrating when your put your faith in a company to park your vehicle and they crash it and won't even cover the cost of the damage. TERRIBLE/DISHONEST CUSTOMER SERVICE. STAY AWAY!! Stay away from this establishment. I was here and used their valet services.  My car was inspected before being parked. Car came back damaged. I was going to call the police, but employees present acknowledged damage, told me not to worry bc they will take full responsibility and that claim company(TOWNE PARK) will take care of all damages. They went as far as getting a taxi to transport me home. Next day l spoke to the MANAGER KIRK,  who also acknowledged my car will be fixed. UNFORTUNATELY for me I was going on vacation the next day. Then 2 weeks later upon my return,  Manager KIRK turned around, writes a false report  to Towne Claims company stating that his employee is not responsible. What evidence? W hotel has videos, which have not been reviewed.  Deny my claim with no evidence? Such Dishonesty!!!! How can I entrust my property under your care, you damage my property, acknowledge fault then deny claim? I will not rest. We used the self-park, not valet as others have reviewed. There is no attendant, and no way to pay cash; therefore, using a credit card is the only option. Not very customer friendly. Then the "receipt" issued by the machine had only preprinted data on it - no transaction data such as time in, time out, charges; no identifying information such as name of business, address, or contact information. Very unprofessional, greedy, and lazy management. Park elsewhere if you can. Parking in Annapolis is always a challenge which is how this shabby operation gets by. read more

Instead they parked my car on a street without cameras... the garage was empty by the way... my firearm was stolen but my car was not broken into.. so either the attendant stole it or left it unlocked for someone else to steal it... filed a report to get a email saying they are not liable... how are you not liable this is not over I am taking this further... don't park valet anywhere that uses this company. read more

Towne park caused 3600 damage to our dodge diesel truck while staying at the Hampton In Portland OR. smoked the clutch going up the ramp into the garage in 5th gear it rolled back and busted off the mirror. after they managed to get it into the garage they got it stuck under a sprinkler pipe!!! and the only thing they told us is that they broke the mirror.. took over 21 days dealing with them before the hotel Thank god for the Hampton stepped in and paid for the damages. The valet service at Bergan Mercy in Omaha is a joke. There is only one valet working. This is the second time I have waited for over 10 minutes and never saw a valet. There were six people (six separate cars) waiting for their vehicles. It is 9 degrees here today. The parking is full. I'm not making my mom walk in this cold. This company should be ashamed of itself to make these older people walk in this cold because they cannot get enough staff or even a competent person to run the valet. read more

If I could give negative stars I would. They stole $300 headphones from my car. I understand you're not supposed to leave valuables but it also shouldn't be expected that if you do, it will be stolen by the valet people themselves. I know this because they were locked in my console and the only way you can get them is if you had the keys. I called them to talk about it and the guys said "well you shouldn't leave valuables in the car." I wish I wasn't running late that day and just parked the car myself. My experience with Towne Park valet parking echoes other sentiments here. I left my Cadillac rental car in valet parking while staying at the AC by Marriott Hotel in Portland; there was no damage to the car. On the final day of my stay, when the car was returned to me, there was damage to it (ultimately over $1000). I presented the claim and while the onsite staff was very nice; ultimately the claim was denied after 6 months of sitting on it. I guess I'm going to start taking a photo with date/time stamp each time I leave my car with any valet. read more

She advises me to use my own insurance to repair the vehicle. I'll do one better Kristin, I'll repair the vehicle and bring suit against your company in Howard County. To all you Annapolis goers, I advise you to think twice before using Towne Park to valet your vehicle- in particular at Annapolis Town Center. My iPod Touch and VW iPod connector cord was stolen out of the center console in my car while in their possession. We reported it and filled out a claim at ATC that was never submitted to Towne Park headquarters. After almost two months of calls and sending them a copy of the claim we submitted, they finally responded and just informed us that they will not be investigating or reimbursing us for our loss. I guess they can't stay in business if they're honest.. (and this just wasn't laying out on a seat or something- one would really have had to look for it) read more

These people are a bunch of crooks! They are committing fraud. I pulled in the valet parking lane at Holiday Inn Express at 629 Euclid Avenue in Cleveland, OH at 11:30 pm on August 15, 2018. The valet parking attendant, Ed, gave me a valet parking ticket, and I gave him the keys and a $5 tip. Then, they didn't park my car. They left it parked in the valet parking lane where I parked it all night on a street frequented by homeless people. Predictably, the car got broken into. I filed a claim, and their adjuster, "Cynthia S," denied liability with a form letter denial letter that didn't address the specific facts of my claim at all. When I submitted a rebuttal outlining the fact that they breached the valet parking contract by not parking my car and that their actions were negligent and grossly negligent, they responded with a generic, unsigned letter denying my claim again. This time, they attached a disclaimer that they said was printed on my ticket. The problem is, the disclaimer they e-mailed me is not the same one that was printed on my ticket. Not even close. They weren't even similar. Naturally, the one they e-mailed me was much more in their favor than the one that was actually printed on my ticket. This is blatant fraud. I am going to sue them in the Butler County, Ohio Court of Common Pleas. I am suing them for breach of contract, fraud, negligence, and gross negligence. I will seek actual damages, punitive damages, attorney's fees, and court costs. As I said, these people are crooks. Stay away from this company. Park your car yourself, but not in one of their lots. read more
