I am posting word for word my appeal to the horrible Annapolis City Government after they attempted to extort me for fees due to Gott Garage managerial incompetence. "I attempted to access the payment portal multiple times when arriving and leaving the garage on the 7th without success. Before I left with my party, I also tried to find an attendant or ANYONE that could help prior to exiting. Again, no help was available. I was fully willing to pay the fee, but was deterred by multiple garage management systems. I frankly do not know how this is better for Annapolis denizens or visitors, seems more like a way for the Gott Company and the City to reduce labor costs again at the expense of the tax payer. The very next morning, my friend and I were again in Annapolis and parked in a garage further up West Street, she had to hit the portal over and over again to finally make a payment. We wasted 15 minutes dealing with the silly portal, do we get a refund for that time? Technology is great, IF it consistently works. I would hope that the City of Annapolis will collect the correct fee of $6.45 instead of attempting to extort a tax payer for $50.00 or more due to the City's poorly administered payment systems." read more

Easy to get in and out for a show. Always park here but $13 for a Wednesday night is too high imho.

A Friday afternoon stop at the courthouse and this is the most convenient garage. It's right beside the visitor center and the prices are affordable. You scan the QR code to register your info and simply drive out when ready. The lot itself is clean and open. read more

Just like any other parking garage- it's clean and well lit at night. We (girls) felt safe.

The parking registration process is completely whack. If you use a QR READER app you will be hijacked by an "app safety" company that takes your cc info. Because of this our card got cancelled and we were then notified by the garage that we didn't pay for parking! The attendant was kind but that didn't stop us with being penalized for not paying through no fault of our own. Very Frustrating! read more

This garage has removed all payment methods with the exception of a QR code for a smart phone! I do not own a smart phone. They threaten you with legal action. Not very friendly. I was told that there is someone at attendance in the office near the exit. I was there for 15 minutes banging on doors and waiting for someone. No one was there. I tried to call the phone number. I was only able to leave a message. I got a return call. I am somewhat satisfied. Their policies were explained. If you don't have a smartphone...You are not welcome. I will still avoid Gott's when I go to RamsHead or Stan & Joe's. read more

I pre-paid for parking at Gott's garage on 3/5/2026. I entered the garage at 11:50 am. There are NO SET-ASIDE AREAS FOR PRE-PAID PARKING!! I went up and down the garage several times looking for a parking spot wasting 20 minutes. There were NO EMPLOYEES ANYWHERE IN THE GARAGE THAT I COULD ASK FOR HELP AT THIS TIME!!. Feeling very frustrated and being late for an appointment, I started yelling for help. It took several minutes for someone to come out and then, a heavy set woman with brown hair came up to my car window and started yelling at me that I disrespect employees. Still screaming, she said I should never pre-pay for parking because I am stupid. She leaned into my open window and said there was parking in the lower level. I said where is that and she said that I have to find it myself-that it was on me! She said there were four employees there to help me and I should have gotten out of my car to go find them (REALLY!!! REALLY AND BLOCK EVERYBODY ELSE IN THE GARAGE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!) When I told her there was nobody there when I came in she continued to scream and wag her finger at me!!! There were NOW other employees there and they were silent. What a good role model this woman is for them (NOT). A proper response from her would have been to come up to my car and say can I help you?? Then, lead me part-way down to the lower level (part way would have been fine). I only come to Annapolis twice a year for my job so I don't know the layout of your garage. Also, I am handicapped from a hip replacement and, of course, your elevators were not working!!! I had to hobble up the steps to the street level. When I told the woman this, she said she doesn't care that I'm handicapped. THIS WOMAN SHOULD BE FIRED!!! YOU DON'T TREAT YOUR CUSTOMERS THE WAY SHE DID. EVER!!! I will never use Gott's Garage in Annapolis, MD again and make sure to tell EVERYONE I MEET ABOUT THE AWFUL EXPERIENCE I HAD AT THE HAND OF YOUR EMPLOYEE. read more

The new billing system for the garage sucks. The garage lacks signage as to how to pay for the parking unless you happen to spot the QR code on the wall and have a cell phone capable to do payments using a credit card which you have to register with mpolis.io.welcome. The first charge is $9.99 before you even park the car and $3.45 for the first hour and $6.45 for the second hour. The city of Annapolis needs to dump this parking vendor and go back to the old tickets with a gate that provides a machine where you can pay with real currency or a credit card. My wife does not have a smart phone so it discriminates against those who are not tech savy. The fine for not paying through the vendor would be $50 for anyone like my wife. New technology may replace people but it has no common sense at all. That is why is is also know as ARTIFICIAL intelligence. read more

Went to Luna Blu restaurant on a Sunday night and their website advised customers to use this parking garage and they would validate the ticket. GATE OPEN...NO TICKET to be validated!! It was a SUNDAY night, only a few cars there!! No obvious signs directing how to pay. I figured it was open on weekends. Each member of my family parked here, and we all got tickets in the mail. DO NOT PARK HERE! Talk about extortion! The only sign this garage has for pricing says $5 and below that it does mention a certain time which is in the evening. Pricing is not listed anywhere else. Upon exiting the garage, I was charged $12 for staying 3 hours. There was an attendant standing at the exit gate and when I asked why I was being charged $12 she informed me it's only $5 in the evening. I asked her where the rates were posted for patrons to know before entering and she said it's inside referring to the office booth! How does that help patrons?! So not only did they destroy black businesses to build this garage (I found that out after already parking) they have no integrity and dishonest business practices. Unethical scammers. After parking here for years, we were hit with a $50 fine after parking on a weekend when the gates were up. Little did we know they have changed to a gate less system. No fair warning during a grace period, no personnel to let you know, just some vaguely worded signage. Will not be parking here as it is run by unethical scammers. read more

This garage is a HOT MESS. Do NOT park here if visiting the Ram's Head for a concert. Firstly, the only indication of rates are large signs that indicate a flat $5 rate in the evenings. These are a lie. You will in fact be charged $12 (at least). That's not exorbitant - but it's not what's advertised. But that's the least of their issues. We dutifully waited in line at the single kiosk to pay before leaving. With just one kiosk, that took about 10 minutes. We went to our car to leave and got in line at the exit. And waited FORTY MINUTES to get out, because every single car struggled with the exit gate mechanism. When we *finally* got to the front to exit, we discovered the problem - it wasn't reading tickets as "paid." So everyone was having to pay again ... this time, the $5 rate. So in the end, we paid $17 to park, and between the kiosk line and the line at the gate, we spent the better part of an hour waiting to pay. It was insane. 40 minutes to get out of the damn garage - and there were no more than a dozen cars ahead of us. I will park on the MOON before I park here again. read more

Total scam. Parked here last August on a Friday during the middle of the day. Only a QReader sign on the wall for paying. Shaky cell phone connection made me enter the info again when I got a text saying I had signed up for some service at $39/month!! WTF?! I ended contesting the charge with my bank and emailing the company to demand my money back. That company which had somehow phished the QReader code in this garage denied doing anything but a couple of days later they reversed the charge. I thought the problem was fixed. Oh but nooo. A month later a charge by another unknown company made the same charge so I ended disputing the charge and the bank advised me to close the credit card and they would be sending me a new one. Oh and there were two other charges on the queue. Same amount, different companies. I think the phishing company sold my credit card number to other scammers who were now charging me that amount twice a month. This garage didn't have a phone number or an email address to reach them out to explain/complain. Total scammers. read more

Whoops, didn't listen to reviews. Went to see a show at Rams Head. Short walk and conviennent from garage. We were given a discount ticket for eating at the Tavern which gave us parking for $5.00 flat. Returned to car after concert and the discount parking only took $5.00 off of the $15.00 parking so the garage ripped us off for $5.00. Still cheap but think of how much money they are making by scamming the public. Buyer beware. read more

Sign says $5.00, 2.5 hours of parking last night, charged $13.00. Chose that garage for number of EV chargers--they were all energized but offline, so you can't charge there, either. Total rip off. Absolutely the worst place you could ever park, especially if you are going to Ram's Head. It's the second consecutive time it has taken over a hour to exit the garage after the show because the system is antiquated and makes no sense. Complicated and confusing despite being highly educated. It's not just us, the current system in place affects everyone exiting the garage. Additionally, there's no personnel to assist when exiting issues occur. A simple fix would be to prepay which would allow all cars to exit the garage easily. This garage really needs to get their act together! read more

I planned to stay overnight in Annapolis and went onto their website to find pricing information. They indicated the rate was $15 for 4+ hours. I entered at 4:30pm and exited at 10:30am but was charged $30. That is almost the same cost as the valet parking at the hotel! The attendant standing at the exit said that the clock resets at 6am so I was charged for 2 days. Nothing on their website indicated this. I called their office and a rude lady told me that I should have called them before parking if I wanted to get information. I told her that their website -and signage -should indicate this and no one should have to call. I won't be parking there again! read more

I parked here last night for the first time while I went to dinner on West Street. It is super convenient and a minute walk to West Street. Because we went during the Dining Under the Stars event on Wednesday night, the parking was free after 4pm. The garage was a typical parking garage and relatively clean compared to other garages I have utilized. I would definitely park here again if going to the same area. read more

I've parked here many times, so here are some observations. 1. Easy to get to, it has an entrance by the visitors center and one near the intersection with West. 2. I usually go up to the roof deck to park, the view is decent. 3. The credit card payment system will mess up from time to time. I've seen it fail for others and had it happen to me. If you see a long line of cars waiting to get out, find the other exit. read more

Beware! There's a huge sign hanging over the garage that says $5 All Day Parking. So we parked there. We pulled in at 7:32 PM and left at 10:25 PM. When we went to pay the ticket, we were charged $9. Huh? We paid and I called the garage on Monday. It turns out, the "$5 All Day" Deal is only good AFTER 8:00 PM. Naturally they don't tell you this. It's very "bait and switch". Bottom Line: Convenient to the courts by day and steps away from West St. restaurant at night. The historic West Street, a spoke off of the famous Church Circle, is richer with restaurants more so than ever. With so many dining options it is great to have a close, clean and safe parking garage just across the street. Some of the most popular restaurants near this garage are Ram's Head, Level a Small Plates Lounge and Stan and Joe's. During the day I believe this is a popular garage for monthly pass holders working in the courts, surrounding law firms and many government offices. Main Street and the City Dock are accessible from this garage too but it's a bit of a walk. If you're casually strolling Annapolis on a good-weather day, no big deal. If it's 20 degrees with the windchill or 90 degrees with 100% humidity, it's a long walk. Rates for the garage are posted at annapolisparking.com but basically here are the rates: $5 for dinner and a drink or two (2-3 hours) $11 for dinner, several drinks and sobering up (5-6 hours) $20 for dinner, getting plastered, having to take Uber home and retrieve your car the next day Although the address for the garage is Northwest St., the entrance for the garage is on Calvert St. read more

Standard parking garage close to all the popular tourist stops in downtown Annapolis. It's a 10 min walk from all the shops on Main Street, but I'd prefer this over the Hillman Garage since Gott's is away from the craziness of the Main Street pedestrians. Gott's is right next to the visitor's center, so you'll want to park here if you're going on any of the Watermark walking tours. $15 for all day parking and even cheaper for less time, not bad at all. There's an elevator to get up/down the levels. As the other reviews have said, the meter can be a bit temperamental but it'll work eventually. Meter takes card only, no cash. read more

Exit machine ate my restaurant coupon ~ tried for 5 minutes to raise up the parking attendant on the speaker box ~ noticed parking staff Dimitri having a leisurely conversation with someone in a car ~ blew my horn to get his attention and when he finally came over to help me he yelled at me for blowing my horn! I would recommend against parking here but for the fact that the machines and staff are so messed up that you usually wind up just getting a pass and not having to pay. :) read more
