Watered down merged bottle of dish detergent. Sure, it's soap on the inside but how clean is the exterior if they keep reusing the bottles?
    Veronica W.

Wow, what a difference three years can make! I stayed here in December 2017 and I would've pitted this place against most Residence Inn by Marriott. Now I wouldn't put this place against a super eight or a really crappy extended stay. They are not keeping you safe just so you know, they couldn't care less once they have your money either. I was going to hand wash a few dishes I used in the room that still smells like cigarette smoke and shouldn't and I noticed that the dish washing soap looked watered down and was two different colors. I went to the front desk to show them because I found it concerning that they would reuse a bottle and be so cheap is to water it down or condense them, if you will. Before I finished my sentence the housekeeping manager came out of the office, jumped on me and basically called me a liar. SHE told me that it was two different dish soaps merged. I told her that was even worse! She muttered something under her breath at me and in Spanish; two things - I have excellent hearing and I speak Spanish. I know what she called me and it was "a Fat B*tch." That did it for me. I always wipe a room down as it is but I don't feel safe here and I have contacted corporate to conclude my stay early. I would rather stay at the super eight in a bad neighborhood than here because this place has gone to hell.

Nancy at the front desk helped us out with a friendly attitude towards service. Housekeeping was paused due to covid however at front desk they can help with any supplies. We stayed 5 nights and gold status gave me the option of a paid upgrade which we declined. Was a nice stay near family where our family could rest and work. The breakfast included waffles, breakfast sandwiches, eggs, cereal, and yogurt which you can pick up in springhill suites next door. The pool was empty and we also had access to the spring hill suites pool. A hot tub would be nice here.

Toxic Black Mold, Roaches, Bed Bugs, Crappy Breakfast, Rude Staff...Worst Hotel Stay Ever What we were hoping would be an incredible stay in Boca Raton has turned into an absolute nightmare from hell after staying in Marriott's TownePlace Suites Boca Raton. Usually, I don't take negative reviews seriously as many are overreacting, but I highly recommend you heed this review for your health's sake. My wife and I stayed in this hotel for less than 3 days before we both began to strangely get sick with a myriad of unexplained symptoms. I eventually removed the air conditioner vent to discover the entire AC unit was covered in black mold. The mold had grown out of the unit and had even recently been painted over. The AC air filter was the wrong size and wasn't even filtering the air. A hotel staff eventually admitted the entire building was having this issue and he was cleaning the units one by one with Clorox spray (lol) to "remediate". Additionally, the coolant lines are running at the wrong temperature have not been maintained - with the addition of the dust problem caused by a buildup of dust yielded very high levels of black mold. Also, we continually had a cockroach problem that was never resolved. So far, we have spent thousands of dollars in medical bills treating our symptoms. The General Manager was not very sympathetic and acted like it was my problem that I am immunocompromised and getting sick. Eventually, he agreed to refund our stay as recompense. That was in November. The day after we left, they charged our card instead of refunding and went dark on us! It is December and he won't answer my calls or emails. Luckily, we followed all steps a local attorney firm specializing in mold cases recommended before leaving the hotel. If you have been affected by your stay, they can help you as well. What could have been an easy solution honoring the bare minimum of what was offered to us, they have chosen the dishonest road, which is beneath Marriott brand's reputation, but this is far from over. The GM may reply to this review trying to shrug us off saying we were offered a different room, which I inspected and discovered the same water leaking problem and mold buildup. We were eventually transferred to the building next door (Springhill Suites) until we could get into a new hotel. Stayed one night and had bed bug bites the next day. Lovely. Also, the AC filter was the wrong size and not working in there as well. Idiots.

Stayed here using points when I realized we were ending our vacation in Miami in Super Bowl weekend!! Should have had my head checked! All of the other even dive hotels were $400!!! Marriott usually does a pretty nice job. This hotel is showing some signs of age and probably is due for some refurbishment. The lab by looks a little tired. These rooms are very nice in that they have a small complete kitchen and a full size fridge and a pullout couch good for a small family. I would recommend staying here for business . It is close to some business parks but not in a touristic area. It seems to be clean and quiet and relatively close to the airport!

Let's start with the highlight... customer service. Josh at front desk was very friendly and helpful. I needed to order dinner and asked for some suggestions. He was more than helpful. I also needed to print some things out and he told me about the computers and printers that were in the lobby. He also told me about he complimentary breakfast but was served next door at SpringHill. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. I loved the Paul Mitchell hair product. The kitchen was handy for heating up my left over dinner. I liked that a key card is required to get around the hotel. The breakfast was the best hotel breakfast I ever had.

Service: Florence at the front desk was so sweet and made sure our stay was as comfortable as possible. The housekeeping is usually once per week but you can request additional toiletries as necessary. My early check in was honored without issue and the check in process was quick. Room: We had a two bedroom suite with a full kitchen and living area. The room was 424 and looks out to the road/highway/rails. The tri-rail was quiet and I didn't bear any outside noise. It's somewhat outdated with normal wear and tear, which I can see why others may be bothered but it wasn't an issue for me. The two bedroom suite was spacious and had plenty of storage space for our luggage and bags. I did notice a musty smell when we first arrived, too bad there isn't a balcony to get some fresh air. Breakfast: There is continental breakfast of fruit coffee and pastries on the lobby. At the sister hotel next door (2 min walk) there is a full hot breakfast bar with great selection and service. I definitely recommend this place for prime location in Boca. It's a nice venue for longer stays and for families which children who may require a kitchen and extra rooms.

Very comfortable suite with a full kitchen.

A late-night, last-minute emergency left me needing to get a room for the night. I called this hotel, and "Jamie" was very nice. I was using my Marriott points and he was very helpful and accommodating. I appreciate the good customer service! Check-in was easy. The room was clean and functional; bed very comfortable. It had everything you could possibly need. There was a full kitchen in the suite. There isn't a free breakfast here. But, the wi-fi and parking is free. This hotel is right off I-95 at the Yamato exit. The Tri-Rail train system, that will take you all the way to Ft. Lauderdale and Miami, is very close - right across the street. So, if you are looking for good public transportation to the Miami/Ft. Laud. area, this is a good hotel for that. It's just a quick walk to the train station.

Kudos to housekeeping! The bathrooms however, had grout stains throughout the shower which is typical, but still a turn off. Importantly, the beds are very comfortable. Expect to actually sleep well! The biggest issue I had is, nowhere on their site or when making a direct room confirmation, is there mention of an overnight parking charge. It's not so much that I have a pet peeve with hotels charging their guests to park, but what really bothers me is the lack of transparency. Not cool, people. So, going to Boca? We booked through the wedding party so they already negotiated at rate. The check in process was easy. When we arrived the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Common areas looked nice. On site amenities included a pool, bar, and complimentary breakfast served daily. The room was ready early so we could get settled in after the flight. Now to the bad. The room was a little meh. Large coffee stain on the carpet and some dust. Nothing major. The cabinet that housed the mini fridge was a little beat up. When I went to plug in my cell phone charger a noticed an outlet was damaged with some of the wiring exposed. Needless to say I don't use that plug. The light fixture near the bed was leaning to the side and the lamp shade was very beat up. Not would you would expect for the price point. The management do ask if there was anything they could do to remedy this room but they would be unable to give us a new room. So really there was nothing they would be doing but I suppose it's the thought that counts. Also could not ever get the WIFI to work. Overall not bad but not good either. Would not be my first choice for a hotel in the area.

Before arrival, I was never informed that my room would be located on the second floor with stair-only access & no elevator assistance. Traveling with a service animal while displaced due to active home renovations, repeatedly carrying luggage up and down steep stairs alone was physically exhausting. Accessibility limitations should be disclosed upfront. Despite displaying a clearly visible "Do Not Disturb" sign, housekeeping disturbed &/or attempted to enter my room at approximately 9:00AM on multiple occasions. Being repeatedly awakened after specifically requesting privacy is unacceptable, especially for a property marketing itself as boutique luxury. The most concerning part of my stay was the treatment I received from the front desk employee, Ryan. Nearly every interaction felt hostile, combative, & entirely lacking in professionalism or hospitality. After initially booking one night, I extended my stay due to delays with my home renovations. Immediately after booking, I received a phone call aggressively informing me that I still had to check out at noon & could not check back in until 4:00PM. This occurred multiple times throughout my stay despite online inventory consistently showing available rooms of the SAME ROOM TYPE the night before & during the day I rebooked. There appeared to be no legitimate operational reason to repeatedly force a paying guest to vacate for hours while managing luggage, stairs, & a service animal. The repeated forced check-outs & room changes felt unnecessarily rigid & punitive. At one point I genuinely felt less like a guest & more like they were doing me a favor. I normally don't pay to stay somewhere that feels like a prison. The handling of my service animal was equally inappropriate. During one of the early morning housekeeping disturbances, my service dog barked after being startled awake. Within approximately 30 seconds, I received a phone call demanding that I "register my dog." I explained that it was a service animal, which I had already disclosed during check-in. Instead of acknowledging that, I was interrupted and asked, "You mean an emotional support animal?" I again clarified that it was a service animal. The interaction felt dismissive, uninformed, and inappropriate given the hospitality industry's basic obligations regarding service animals. On my final reservation, housekeeping again attempted to enter my room around 9:00AM despite the "Do Not Disturb" sign remaining posted. When I addressed it with the office, I was falsely told that I had supposedly informed staff I would be checking out at 6:00 AM. What I had actually explained was that I preferred a first-floor room because repeatedly carrying luggage down stairs alone at 6:00AM was difficult. Cleanliness was also a major issue. I stayed in three different rooms, and every room had visibly dirty floors. My socks became dirty simply from walking around the rooms. More concerning, the AC vents appeared covered with black buildup and heavy dust, raising serious concerns about cleanliness, maintenance, & indoor air quality. Regretfully, I gave the property another chance & booked an additional two-night reservation because my roof renovation was still unfinished. Almost immediately after booking, I received another disruptive phone call informing me I would again have to fully check out, change rooms, and wait until 4:00 PM to re-check in. After days of repeated disruptions, room changes, & hostile interactions, I requested that the reservation be canceled. I was initially told "no." Only after escalating my frustration vocally did staff suddenly agree to contact Expedia & process the refund. What makes the experience more disappointing is that the gentleman who originally checked me in was genuinely pleasant & professional along with the housekeeping manager. Unfortunately, every interaction afterward became increasingly adversarial. This property failed in accessibility transparency, privacy, professionalism, cleanliness, flexibility, and customer service. The repeated room transfer demands, mishandling of a service animal situation, visibly dirty conditions, apparent mold buildup around vents, & hostile front desk interactions made the entire stay exhausting & stressful. This establishment does not deserve the title of "boutique luxury." I strongly caution travelers, especially those with accessibility needs, respiratory sensitivities, or service animals, to stay elsewhere. HOTEL'S RESPONSE TAKES NO ACCOUNTABILITY, DISREGARDS THE REAL ISSUES & MAKES EXCUSES.

There are a few perks: free cookies, a coffee station all day, breakfast in the morning, but what really sets this place a part is the staff. We recently stayed here while planning a celebration of life nearby and had to sort through items that had recently been damaged by a fire. We tried to keep to ourselves or keep the mess to an absolute minimum, but we did sort through some old family albums and a suitcase full of heirlooms and jewelry, taking up some space in the dining areas and lobby for a place to sort and clean. I was fearful that the staff would be annoyed with us or ask us to leave, but they were so gracious, and helpful at every turn. Whenever we needed something, a trash bag, or a helping hand to the dumpster, they were quick to assist or tell us they would handle it so we could keep going.
