    Vape pen

I booked a room here for one night & got the King size bed with sofa pullout with my little family. We checked in & got to our room and immediately noticed the smell of the room was a little off. I almost thought we got a smoking approved room so I called front desk & they assured us it was non smoking. Then I noticed hair on the bathroom counter and how dirty it was (looked like crumbled snacks & more hair all around the edge of the bed) and I knew whoever cleaned the rooms wasn't doing a good job. So I pull out the sofa bed & noticed the entire top was covered in pee stains. We went downstairs & asked for another room. The girl was really nice & gave us a room right next door. I was skeptical but gave it a shot. So we walk in to the next room, and I was a little skeptical at this point so I lifted up the bed mattress away from the box spring & found a vape pen. Then I pulled out the sofa bed and crumbs fell everywhere & saw a lighter fall out as well. That's when we packed our belongings and left. I was told I'd have to talk to a manager the next Monday for a refund. It was the second Marriott we stayed at in a week (stayed at one on a trip to Southern Cali week before) and we had a similar experience. We immediately checked in to a Hyatt Place and was blown away with the comparison of how clean Hyatt was all around. I wasn't going to leave a lengthy review but I will NEVER stay @ a Marriott ever again. Hotel Nia in SF Bay Area (Marriott owned I believe) is one of my favorite hotels ever, but lower end Marriotts like Townplace & similar I would probably stay clear of if cleanliness and sanitation is important to you

Hotels response I told them? Makes no sense this is not Marriott, its franchise with a Marriott sign.

Despite asking for my bill from one employing the mourning process in the checkout on the app and calling the front desk again I still had not received the bill. I stayed in probably mostly Marriott hotels and everybody has my email address suddenly this hotel doesn't have my email address so I called Marriott titanium support and the heavy read off by email address which is the same should have emailed my bill. I don't think people can be this incompetent it has to be passive aggressive but finally Marriott corporate is gonna do not and they also send me a copy the bill but I gotta tell you don't stay in the so tell it's dirrty they don't follow up on anything for cleanliness and honestly I don't think they really want to business it's poorly trained staff if you stay there used to your own risk in my opinion

Just average Hotel , Why Pay for Dirty Rooms which was not good at all?? Well We stayed for the week and Monday was not good because we stayed at their other hotel across the driveway and we could not get any sleep because its right by the highway. We had a room that was facing the highway and they said they just built the place but they did spend the money for excellent quality windows for sound proofing. Then they transferred us to this place and , and then we checked out on Sunday Well the last night they just didn't clean the room . It was dirty beyond belief . I would not stay with these dirty pictures Below for a room type , they are totally unacceptable. IN SHORT , LOOK TO BOOK YOUR ROOM ELSEWHERE , DONT BOTHER ALSO THE BREAKFAST THAT THEY GIVE YOU IN THE MORNING IS GROSS TOO. NOT WORTH IT .. WE ATE THERE 1 TIME AND THEN WENT TO OTHER PLACES .. I would not want to see you waste your hard earned money to stay here!!! my opinion ,,,

    Beautiful room!

This room is perfect! We came in after a 14 hour drive and the staff were super great. The bathroom looks brand new. The entire room is nicely decorated and I feel right at home. Thank you for the wonderful room at a super great price!

    Bathroom door.

First, the room (mostly the bathroom) was in disrepair. There was a mystery puddle on the bathroom floor, someone tried to fix a hole in the door with drywall mud and smudges on the wall. Secondly, I had been traveling with very little sleep and needed a goods night rest, when housekeeping decided at 7 PM they needed to do a room check and came right in! After talking to the "manager on duty" she informed me that she has nothing to do with housekeeping and I'd have to track them down and ask why they came in my room. This place is not up to Marriott standards!

    Nice clean rooms with kitchenette

Nice life fitness equipment in the gym. Loved the bed- best nights sleep in Orem, Utah! Wish I had stayed the previous nights here. So quiet and clean! Loved the room. Would stay here again.

I had previously called and asked which plants would be the most suitable for beginners. (They are very responsive on the phone, which is great!) They told me that there will be people who could help me out at the store. Yet, when I arrived nobody greeted or helped out. When I asked for tips from two workers, they said they were not sure. So, I had to walk around to ask different workers. I was quite disappointed with the help and knowledge of the workers. As I was mainly looking at house plants, I must say that I was quite disappointed with some of the plants that I was previously eyeing. There were leaves that were broken off and wilting. Yet, I also managed to find other plants that looked so pretty! I love the selection of the pots and think that they are a good price in comparison to other online stores. I loved how they also helped me repot my plants for free as I purchased the pot AND the plant from the store (their requirement for free potting).

Some plants did and a lot did not. There were no workers to be found. It was like a ghost town. when I did find the price of the plants they over charged. I go to plant nurseries all over Utah and can find the same plants for half the cost and way more healthy. Shades used to be way better maintained but every time I've stopped by it seems like are becoming less and less maintained. I use to brag about this place but after today I just won't be back until they start to be organized, maintain their plants and have more affordable pricing. They are pricing out their customers.

The location itself is beautiful--the setting against the mountains is genuinely stunning, especially around sunset. The space is thoughtfully decorated, the seating was comfortable, and the soda station was a standout detail that guests really enjoyed. Overall, the aesthetic and atmosphere are very charming. However, the biggest issue--and unfortunately the one that defined the experience--was the sound. The indoor acoustics are extremely poor. The space functions like an echo chamber, with noise bouncing off the walls to the point where even casual conversation becomes overwhelming. Despite the use of a microphone, the speeches were nearly impossible to hear clearly, especially with a subpar sound system. Additionally, as the sun set, light streamed intensely through the upper windows, making it difficult to see key moments. Between the lighting and the acoustics, many guests ended up spending most of the event outside just to be able to talk and hear one another. Parking was also somewhat limited, though the location itself is convenient. It's a visually lovely venue with a lot of potential, but the sound issues indoors are significant and would need to be addressed for events like weddings where hearing speeches and connecting with others is essential.

The acoustics are better outside; once you go inside it echoes quite a bit. It's a small space, but they do a nice job to make it inviting and attractive. The soda shop has an impressively large menu and they will also whip up whatever you can create-so you're sure to find something you like. I'm looking forward to attending other events here in the future.

Lodging ONLY POV review…read more Good: This is a Beautiful farm house. The esthetics are amazing for your insta and quaint place away from the town for some much needed relaxations. Can be better: So you pay "luxury" price because ofcourse it's a great looking farmhouse. But Amenities are super basic. Coffee: I didn't even know how to use that coffee machine and no creamers. No tissue box. No USB ports. I was afraid to use their towel because their rule book said, "will be charged" if there's stain or do anything else because everything had a potential "charge" The sheets were so thin I was afraid barely sleeping on them would make a hole, luckily no holes!! I am so used to staying at hotels and having these basic amenities, i thought they would be normal (my bad on not doing due diligence). But honestly if you are going to charge top prices, would be great to have some basic amenities like single serve coffee machine, creamer, or nicer sheets. Etc. Hope this helps someone to make a decision. Ofc these were my pet peeves, probably wouldn't bother anyone else. I was there to enjoy and not stress about little things!

I went to my friend's son's wedding and have mixed feelings about this place…read more The venue was absolutely gorgeous! The wedding reception took place inside the castle and was beautifully decorated. The wedding planner did an excellent job in setting up the venue. It was elegant and quite magical! I especially loved how we lit giant sparklers as the bride and groom exited to their car at the end of the evening. 5 stars for the venue and decor. The food was a different story....It was awful! All of the guests at our table who had salmon like me agreed it was so salty that it was inedible. We scrapped off the top and ate a little bit of the bottom. I ate mainly just the potatoes and bell peppers (my plate didn't have any zucchini, yellow squash, broccoli, or cauliflower like some of the other plates). Plating was bad, needless to say. The food was a disappointment, but overall, we had a great time. This was the most fun wedding I've attended in a long time. The castle was beautiful and the landscape outside was picturesque. It's the perfect place for a dreamy wedding, aside from the food. We were happy with the alcohol and dessert bar, so all is good!
