With mushroom coffee available I think they have taken on a mushroom theme with mugs and drawings on the menu and hanging mushrooms and pins and stickers. It's cute and unique and a vibe without over doing it. The space is tiny only 4 people can stand comfortably 6 and it's a tight squeeze. They have a house made chai that I added to my iced matcha with almond milk. It was refreshing and delicious, I also bought a cool pro LGBTQIA+ pin and a plant based protein bar that was so yummy on my whale watching trip later in the day. The atmosphere here is that of being welcome- regardless of anything. I experience real, authentic human connection here every time. The staff is of the nicest I've experienced, and every coffee I've had has been carefully made and of utmost quality. My kids absolutely love the trail cookies (which are made from scratch!) and I cannot tell you how refreshing it is to be able to have an array of treat choices made with clean ingredients and minimal processing. This coffee was Unreal it is honestly the best cup of coffee I've had in Canada. I drink my coffee black with no sugar so I could taste it unadulterated. You're on vacation in Sooke for 2 weeks I will be going back to this coffee shop frequently and I will be taking some of the swallow blend home with me to Edmonton. The decor what is eclectic Surf Shop and there were plenty of locals having chinwag. Listening to them was highly entertaining there are some characters here.
