She also stated my breed usually doesn't do well at doggy daycare without even meeting my pet but she did state their was a dog there that was the same breed as mine. She made it overtly obvious there was some type of prejudice toward me. I wanted to see if she would even offer a brochure at the end of our interaction which she did not, I had to ask. Needless to say if you treat me in this manner I would not let you even lay eyes on my precious canine. BEWARE!! Make your own judgement but this was my personal experience.

My dog Izzy absolutely loves it at Paws! It's helped him socialize and he always leaves with a smile on his face. Most of the staff is also very nice, loving, good to the dogs. Besides a recent bought of kennel cough Izzy picked up at camp, we have no complaints about the day care. The issue I have is that out of the blue the owners decided to increase the half day rate from $19 to $35! That's 4 hours for $35! And a full day is the price of double what it costs for me to board my dog overnight at my veterinarian. I completely understand a business needing to hike up rates due to increased cost, but not only was this abruptly done, but the owner (like reviewer Hannah experienced) came up to me as I was picking up Izzy and said "we better buy packages now because prices are going up in a day or so!" It was rude and as a regular weekly customer I was offended that a mailing didn't go out, nor did an email or anything professional. Paws not only increases prices but no longer wipe the dogs down after they played and drooled on each other all day, and have not replaces their old, used toys in ages. Makes me sad but if prices don't go down, it seems like once our packages are done we will not be able to return to Paws. Just too expensive!

Laura Jean was the vet assistant and she was so great with our cat. She really loved on him and he wasn't afraid of her at all. I hope she doesn't mind that I took a photo - it was just such a cute moment when she held him. Dr. Lentz was a really nice and knowledgeable vet and took time to answer our questions. She trimmed our cats nails with ease. The whole appointment was quick but we got everything we needed. We found out our cat has worms and they were prompt in calling us and getting us the medication. We're still waiting to hear about the blood work but so far so good with this office.

My cat, Amelia, has been having chronic flare ups of nausea, vomiting, and loss of appetite. I had taken her to another vet previously who couldn't find anything wrong after some standard blood work. They pretty much said "We don't know, could be pancreatitis maybe but not sure" and left it at that. So this weekend, I decided to try Doc-Side and brought Amelia in for an emergency visit around 12pm on Saturday. I had called in advance so they knew I was coming and allowed me to come in even though they close at 1:30pm on Saturdays. We were checked in and seated in a room immediately. The nurse came in and took down some basic info and did a quick check on Amelia. Then Dr. Tierney came in about 20-30 minutes later to perform a more in depth exam. Dr. Tierney performed the most detailed exam I've ever seen. Our other vet had barely done the type of physical checks I'd seen her perform. They then took her back for testing. The estimate for all recommended services was clearly explained to me and I didn't feel pressured into anything. I got a call on my way home that the pancreatitis test was negative. And then by Monday morning, I got a call saying her bloodwork hasn't revealed anything specific yet so we'll continue to do some tests to find out what the problem could be. That said, I have more confidence in Dr. Tierney than my other vet given the care and detail with which she approached the situation. She explained everything in depth and does her best to create a "no-fear" atmosphere for each pet. I would recommend taking notes or asking to record her as she is more of an auditory person than a note-taker.

The owner, Amanda, has been communicative, friendly, and loves our dog like her own. Sarah is our main walker and shes AMAZING. Their walkers all go above and beyond with pets, toy play, and lots of pet cuddles too. We love the picture updates on walk days, complete with adventure tales, a map of the walk route, and information on potty breaks, water refills, etc. With great communication, easy scheduling, and friendly service, I can't recommend them more to anyone in Baltimore County looking for a dog walker.
