My son ordered a tailgate for his truck in May 2025 over the internet , they charged his Credit card , the only receipt he had was from the original purchase on the internet . They never shipped the part , starting in June 2025 , we called , every person we talked to said they first didnt have the order etc they would refund us , the part never shipped after 10-15 documented calls , emails to them , our credit card company finally went after them . I posted a few weeks ago how this shop screwed me on a rear end install. the gears shit the bed after only less then 500miles. When I told them I had to use this truck they put me off for almost a week to look at it. They stated it was over 500 mile oil change that's why they won't fix there screw up. Took it to a differential shop. Should've done that first I no. Break down he showed me how it was definitly there screw up. Shimmed to tight burned the oil then the gears. They also put a cork gasket on a diff cover with a built in o ring. I hope this helps a lot of people to avoid this shop they won't fix your shit even if they no they messed up. Great work on my truck new rims and tires high off-road end, ~$3000.00 rims and tires . A about a month later ran over a screw. No warranty on my new tire. Waited all day for a no response and had to wait 6 days to get it patch with charge. Got upset with the warrant serve and went to pep boys and had it repaired same day waited about 40 minutes。 once they get your Buy they take forever to get your truck back.. one lady error, they did not relearned my tire psi sensors correctly! Absolutely do not take your vehicle to this shop! They do horrible work and their customer service is nonexistent. Took our truck there to get the rear ended gears replaced. We bought the top of the line parts and brought them to them. They spent over 15 minutes explaining the break-in process to us when we dropped off the truck. We understood (not our first time and have never had issues breaking in the past with other vehicles). They promised it would be done that day. They called us at 5pm stating that they had to order a seal from Napa and it wouldn't be delivered until 6pm so they won't be able to finish it that day. They called the next day at 5:30 that the truck was ready. Went to pick it up and the tech and associate was extremely rude. 2 weeks later after breaking it in exactly how we were told we changed our tires and noticed the rearmed was howling. We called them and they wouldn't return our call. We called multiple times and were told they wrote in the board for them to call us back but they don't get to their call backs until the end of the day. After multiple days they finally called back and were reluctant for us to bring the truck in that they were booked out. They "fit us in" 3 days later. When I brought the truck back at the appointment time they gave us, they didn't have us in the schedule and were going to have talk to their associate. After a lot of back and forth, they finally agreed to look at the truck. At the end of the day they called and said they will not warranty the work because we were over 400 miles from an oil change and accused us of not breaking in the gears properly even though he did exactly how they said. They were extremely rude and couldn't get our truck out of their shop fast enough. We took our truck to reputable shop and they disassembled it and found that the gears were in fact not shimmed correctly and that's what boiled the gear oil and that it did damage to the axels which now need to be replaced also. The bearing were never replaced (even though I brought the parts to them so who knows what they did with them). The worst experience ever with this shop. Their customer service is horrible, they are dishonest, and do horrible work. Whatever you do stay clear! read more

I have an adult tricycle that I ride at the mall for exercise, but lifting the trike into the back of my truck hurt my back. I'm 73 years old and I couldn't continue the lifting, so I went to Toys For Trucks to have a small crane installed in the back of my truck. The crane was not working as well as I had hoped it would, and I continued to have to do some lifting. My daughter called James at Toys For Trucks and we set up a time to come in with my truck and the tricycle to see what could be done. Much to my surprise, James, Mike and Ryan spent a considerable amount of time with us coming up with a solution to my problem. A type of sling was created with straps that are attached to the tricycle. The crane's hook slips into the straps and the trike is easily lifted into the back of my truck. It was a great solution and it has been working for months now. It allows me to keep up my exercise on this trike. Thank you so much, James, Mike and Ryan!! And now they saying because it's after the 1 year I have to pay them to fix a problem but first charged me to just look at part that needs to be fixed the bolts that kept breaking. Don't go here! This is how I feel and I have pictures. They are Dishonest, unprofessional, lie to my face, Mechanics not trained properly, no quality control, don't return calls. Worst of all no one including the manager, or owner have called to apologize for putting me and my family in danger, for damaging my vehicle, or for the horrible and extremely stressful experience. I purchased a BDS 4-1/2' inch suspension lift from sales person Jon. When lift came in Jon called and I dropped off my vehicle. Shortly after dropping it off Jon called to inform me I needed additional work done to suspension. I agreed. Total cost of lift and additional work cost me $6385.59 About a week later I picked up my vehicle and Jon told me they may be an issue with my torsion bar because it rides rough, but its safe to drive and to let them know if I want it replaced. I said ok. On the drive home I did noticed the rough ride. Next day I inspected the work and noticed a few issues so I went to BDS website to get the installation manual. BDS torsion mount was installed backwards causing damage to my frame, leaving front suspension with no articulation and only the tires to absorb all impacts, also torsion key was tightened all the way on drivers side, and completely loose on passenger side. After speaking with Jon he said there's a problem with BDS lift because his mechanic has about 30 years experience. Then I said its not BDS its your mechanic and I forward pictures of the damage and pictures from BDS install manual. After several calls they scheduled an appointment to correct all the damages. After picking it up damages to the frame were not repaired, also ride height not set correct in addition we noticed a used ball joint. 09/01/2021 third attempt to correct all issues. Picked up my vehicle Friday 09/03/2021 ball joint wasn't replaced, after they just told me it was replaced, ride height was not corrected, and frame not repaired. In addition Jons helper/partner, said if I want them to adjust the height they can install a 3 inch torsion leveling key. When I asked about the warranty, they said not worry because they wouldn't let BDS know it had an after market torsion key. I get the feeling the were trying to get me to agree so they can Possibly void my warranty. read more

I don't work here, I've never worked here, and all I know is I took my Jeep here, dropped it off, and got it back the same day with a new front bumper, winch installed very clean, and limb risers. Why anyone would rate this shop below a 5-star is beyond me. If you're dragging your feet on whether or not to pull the trigger on this shop, don't. Go here for your off-roading needs and stop being disappointed by other shops. When you go in with respect, you get respect reciprocated. Remember: it's a small automotive shop that does 1,000% quality work. That kind of turnaround and dedication takes time and patience, and it costs a larger premium. You're not going to pay this shop $40 to install a winch like you would your Uncle Johnny. If Uncle Johnny is such a master mechanic, take your stuff to him. I called in to get a quote for a level kit, rims and tires and led lights for my new f150. The guy who answered told me I had to keep 18 inch rims on the truck if they came stock with 18's, that didn't sound rite to me so I called the ford dealer and they said that was incorrect, You would think a off road shop would know, I'm sure the guy did but he didn't want to sell me 17's because the 18's are more money. My husband came here 2 months ago to inquire about some parts to put on our truck. They said they'd send him pictures and then order it, 2 weeks later we never received any pictures let alone a phone call so we just showed up to inquire again when my husband was told they didn't understand what he meant. Fast forward we ordered things for truck and spent over $1,000 for the items to take OVER a month and a half to come in. I've been working with Jon, Ron, and James to help me with my rig. The guys slapped on a new set of Carli Upper and Lower Ball Joints, New Synergy HD Steering Linkage, Fox Steering Stabilizer, Big Ass Borgeson 6 Bolt Dodge Box, and a new Drop Pitman Arm. I went in for an alignment for my truck and after$138 diagnostic fee was told I needed a whole new front end, new upper and lower arms (which I already had done 8mo prior) new gear box (which only had a small leak) needed new camber bearings (which I had done 6mo ago)... Have me an estimate of $3k worth of work that DID NOT need to be done. I only needed my cambers tightened and aligned. I had my husband call and they wouldn't tell him anything. Also said they had been in business 30 years... Google says 6. I hate leaving bad reviews... But I felt like the dumb woman being taken advantage of at the mechanic again. Grrr. read more

Could NOT be happier with the work or customer service we received here. It was our first time ever having work done with them, and I wanted my truck lifted, with some new tires and wheels. Jon was incredibly helpful with different ideas and input, he printed out 4 different quotes based on whatever tires we decided on, and just made the whole process a breeze. My wheels were backordered so that was the longest wait. Once they were in, the truck was brought in on a Tuesday morning, ready by the next afternoon and it looked even more amazing than I had pictured. These guys are the real deal! I have been to this shop 2 times, the first time I had to wait at least 2 extra days to get my truck back even after I told them I would need my truck for an event I had planned Pryor to dropping off they assured me it would be done. It wasn't. Then after sometime I thought I would give them a second chance for some other things I wanted done to the same truck However this time I kept my truck until they received all the parts before leaving my truck with them, they told me it would take 2 maybe 3 days to install new gears in my truck, I gave them four days to do the job. Well after the 6th they still did not have my truck done I decided to go and get my truck from them.
