After reading some of the comments, I felt disappointed enough to end my multi-year hiatus from this app just to show this place some love. If you're into comics, this is my go-to shop. Alan is incredibly helpful, knowledgeable, and genuinely passionate about comics. He even went out of his way to help me get my pull list set up through the Comic Geeks app, and my books were ready and waiting when I came in. Their selection is excellent, especially if you're looking for older issues in great condition. They also carry trading cards, toys, collectibles, and plenty of other cool items. If you're looking for a friendly local comic shop with great customer service, this place is absolutely worth checking out.

At first, I thought she was another customer. Until I realized she was following us around the entire store as if we were criminals. Also, prices have gone up. $45 for a small stuffed animal (36% markup). $90 for a spoon rest (a 50% markup); I don't care if it is McKenzie Childs. But it was more about the way we were treated in the store. I used to buy from this store almost every time I went in. I don't think I'll be back. I'll take my hard earned money and spend it elsewhere. I've been treated better at high-end places in Carmel-by-the-Sea.

My son says it's the best one out of the three card shops we've been to. Both times we've come, Alex has helped us. Alex has been patient, kind, knowledgeable, and very helpful to my son on both visits. The first time we came, my son was looking for the "Demon Slayer pack." They were sold out, which was okay. Armani was still able to purchase a couple of single Pokémon cards and a card holder. Another gentleman even threw in a free card, which made Armani very happy. He said they were the nicest people out of all the card shops we've visited. On this second visit, we came again looking for the Demon Slayer pack, and we were lucky this time and were able to purchase one, along with a couple of single cards that Armani chose. He was so happy with the price that he asked me to turn around so he could purchase another pack. We were lucky enough that they had another one, since they sell out quickly. Armani is 9 and has a small sushi bake business. He saves his profits and, as a treat, purchases cards within his budget. We will definitely be back next month!
