My friends rave about TP Tea in Cupertino so I was happy they opened one in the east Bay Area. I came around 12:30pm and there was only 4 people in front of me. Staff was friendly and helpful with recommendations. I got the passion fruit tea with pineapple coconut jelly and a boba mango milk tea. The drinks were good, there was a little too much topping in the drinks though. I'm not sure why but both drinks had foam on the top and bubbles but the taste was good. I docked a star because for some reason my two drinks got called after another order with three drinks and the place itself is so small. I was driving through Pleasanton and stopped here for boba because I was told that their drinks were good. I ordered the Taiwanese Milk tea and a couple of other drinks for my family. The Taiwanese Milk Tea had boba, grass jelly, and QQ noodles which are similar in texture to regular boba balls but are just shaped like noodles. I really liked the QQ noodles but I was so disappointed with the milk tea. It tasted super watered down and so did all the other drinks my family got. read more

Located in a small plaza with a parking lot in front, can get pretty busy here during lunch hours. Staff were welcoming and friendly. You can either order with the staff or a kiosk. My friends and I used both and found the kiosk more helpful since it had photos and description of the drinks. We got jasmine milk tea, strawberry matcha latte and boba milk tea. The drinks can get super pricey here. Mine almost came out to $10 due to adding boba and milk substitute. I always get the tieguanyin milk tea and sadly mine tasted a little diluted and the boba was hard (they were generous with boba though, so that was nice). My grandparents really like taro, so I got the treasure taro milk tea for them; you can't really even taste taro :(( Maybe I came on an off day but I would def come back again bc I really like tieguanyin milk tea :') If it's your first time at tp tea, their boba is pretty small; it's like an in between size of regular boba and mini boba. Love their tea and especially their TGY milk tea. Fruit teas use real fruit! Prices are very good for their quality. But recently, they've messed up the toppings in my drinks three orders in a row now; not sure what is going on. The first time I asked to sub boba for tea jelly, they subbed pudding instead. The second time I added tea jelly to my fruit tea, but they forgot to put it. The third time I ordered their 3Q TP milk tea, which was supposed to come with boba, coffee jelly, and QQ noodles but it came with grass jelly instead of coffee jelly (didn't realize before we left and was very disappointed because I was really looking forward to their coffee jelly). I recently stopped by TP Tea while running some errands. I had ordered the tie guan yin milk tea and I found it pretty good. The milk tea itself was pretty creamy and had a nice tie guan yin flavor. I did put in a 30% sweetness for my order and I still found my drink relatively sweet, so I would advise you to be careful when selecting the sweetness and I think they tend to be on the sweeter end. Let me just say, as soon as you walk in, the smell of tea is strong! That's how I knew my drink was going to be amazing. Needless to say, I was right. I opted for the iced strawberry milk tea with lychee jelly, 80% sweet. I know that sounds crazy sweet, but it was perfect!
