Cute little boba shop in the plaza surrounded by restaurants. Stopped in after having lunch and I wasn't sure if they were even open because the "open" sign wasn't lit up. We walked in anyways. Staff completely ignored us and just continued on with their conversation-- we didn't even get a greeting. I would've just left but luckily they had kiosks to order from. Thwy do offer a wide variety of drinks which is nice! And you could swap out toppings if there's something in your drink you aren't fond of. I got the mango coconut drink, the strawberry sago, and the watermelon slush. The drinks were pretty good, I should have gotten milk tea to try. Pretty good! Conveniently located in Ulferts Center. I enjoyed their black sesame cloud which is their black sesame milk tea (can be with or without tea) with a cream cheese foam. Very addictive. It did take awhile for our orders to come out since they also had mobile orders to attend to. We waited 15-20 minutes for our three drinks. The place is also a bit lacking a bit in the decor department, and that's ME talking. I felt like they could've done more with the space. Overall, though, it satisfies my milk tea craving. We ordered two milk teas, one with boba and one with grass jelly. I ordered the pink guava medium sweet. Omg the pink guava is delicious and refreshing. I definitely recommend it on a nice warm day but still good when you want a fruity tea. Prices weren't bad for 3 drinks and I definitely will return to try other drinks. I ordered a honeydew milk tea and a mango sago and they were ready in less than 10 minutes. The honeydew was good, a standard tasting honeydew milk tea. The boba had really good texture. It was firm but chewy and the flavor was nice too. The mango sago was also tasty with good mango flavor. Overall, slightly pricey but standard for boba shops nowadays. Passed by this shop a number of times when I go to eat in the plaza. This time I took lunch to go and made sure to stop in to also grab a drink to go. The plaza is busy but there's a big lot and parking isn't too bad. Plenty of Asian restaurants and other businesses. The shop itself wasn't too busy cos I went at 2pm, just before school let out and after the lunch rush. So I walked straight up to the counter and ordered my favorite mango slush with lychee jelly, large size. And in less than 5 mins it was ready. The tables look clean and nice but u took to go and almost finished the whole thing before I even got home! It was that good. I decided to go for the first time last week before heading to the movie theater. It's located in a spacious plaza with lots of parking. It's about a 5 minute drive to the movie theater. They have an array of drinks! I ordered #62 Brown Sugar Latte (less sweet, egg pudding, & cheese creama). The boba was cooked perfectly though it was still a bit too sweet than I'd like. I ordered the cream-top matcha thinking it was a matcha latte. I was apparently told that it was water-based, but I didn't fully understand that at the time. When I tried it, it tasted like extremely strong matcha mixed with water with cream foam on top. I love strong matcha, but this was not enjoyable to me at all. I went back inside after taking basically one sip and asked if I could switch it for a regular matcha latte. I explained that I misunderstood the drink and apologized, but the manager said I would have to pay full price for another one. What really bothered me was that I'm very particular about matcha, so after already not liking the matcha I received, I did not feel comfortable paying for a second drink and potentially disliking that one too. At that point, I would have spent around $13-$14 just trying to leave with one drink I actually liked. I understand that the original misunderstanding may have been partly mine, but the complete lack of accommodation and customer care really rubbed me the wrong way. Based on my experience, if there is an issue with your drink or you simply do not enjoy it, you should not expect them to work with you or try to make it right. I personally like supporting businesses where I feel taken care of and where the owner actually cares whether customers leave happy. I found the way the situation was handled disrespectful and unnecessarily rude, especially coming from the owner. Replacing a nearly untouched drink would have been such a simple gesture and likely would have cost the business very little. I could have loved the regular matcha latte and become a returning customer, but instead, they lost a customer because they refused to make one quick and reasonable accommodation. Almost any other café or restaurant would have handled this differently. Response to your response: Thank you for responding. You are correct that adding milk to the existing drink was mentioned. However, the drink had already been made with a significant amount of water, so adding milk afterward would not have turned it into a proper matcha latte. It would have simply made it a watered-down matcha with milk added, which was not what I wanted and would not have fixed the issue. I have already acknowledged that I misunderstood the drink. My review is not about whether the menu was explained to me. It is about the customer service I received once I came back and politely explained that I had taken one sip and could not drink it. The attitude and lack of accommodation were the real problem. Instead of simply remaking one nearly untouched drink, I was told I could either accept a solution that did not actually fix it or pay full price for another drink. That is poor customer service. Good customer service is not just explaining a policy. It is showing some care, flexibility, and willingness to make things right when a customer has a genuine issue. That did not happen here. The response felt dismissive, unhelpful, and unnecessarily rigid over something that could have been resolved very easily. I will not be returning because I prefer to spend my money at businesses where customers are treated with kindness and where satisfaction actually matters. Seen this place a few times when in the area and always wanted to try it. We came here after eating at Marufuki ramen. It's a pretty basic place with standard selections. The bf got the taro milk tea and I got the guava sunrise. The bf didn't like his drink, he prefers other places. Then I tried my drink and I felt the same. The quality if the syrups taste cheap and it was off putting. Once the ice melted it tasted better, but it didn't taste like guava. The ambiance is quite simple and dark, I don't recall any decorations or music to really encourage you to stay and enjoy your refreshments. Nice clean boba spot in the Koi Palace shopping center. The honeydew green milk tea without any additional sugar was pretty sweet so I recommend getting no sugar if you don't like it sweet. Came here to get a quick boba fix. Parking is plentiful as it's part of a huge complex. We entered and were greeted. Loved that they have menus dedicated for no sugar drinks as well as decaf drinks. This beats purple rain from Tisane San Jose and Ume Tea's grape green tea slush as the drink has balanced tart from cheese foam, sweetness from grapes , and jasmine tea added a subtle smooth flowery flavor. First 2 visits - the jasmine milk tea was creamy with a good tea taste to it, which I enjoyed for the most part, but on my 3rd visit, it was bitter and had a weird aftertaste to it. The Fam and I stopped by Milky Way Tea Shoppe for a quick bite and refreshment after the Dublin Splatter event. It was conveniently located, almost right in our backyard from the event. The Little one was napping, the Mrs. was craving boba, while I had my sights set on some popcorn chicken. They have an option to order online via Clover, which seems to be their preferred method, though Door dash and Uber eat are also options. It was quick and convenient. Very little wait time once we ordered upon leaving the event, with less than a 10 minute drive there. Here's what we ordered: - Mini Chicken Nuggets: Yes, as their name implies, these really were chicken nuggets, and not the popcorn chicken that I'm used to at other boba shops. No false advertising here. It's made from ground white meat rather than whole dark meat, with a thinner batter. If I had to compare, it's more similar to the popcorn chicken they used to sell (or maybe still sell?) at KFC. While it was still good, it didn't quite hit the spot for me. - Pineapple Passion Fruit Tea: with grass jelly, half sweet. The perfect balance of sweet and tangy. - Pink guava: with boba. Half sweet, with boba. Fruity and sweet. The Mrs. thoroughly enjoyed it. She's the expert on boba and tea. Not me.
