Tpumps menu is very overwhelming as the torani syrups flavor list is extensive and the combinations feel limitless. I planned ahead this time to ensure my drink tasted good. I got a Banana French Toast Black milk Tea with honey boba. The banana flavor wasn't overwhelming and it had a pleasant French toast taste. On Tuesdays there is a free upgrade deal so you can get an unreasonably large drink for $5! And they don't charge extra for honey boba! The prices are not that cheap if you actually order a drink, although I appreciate the ability to customize by picking various flavors. I looked at their discount fridge, but at this point in the day, a little before 3pm, they only had one remaining of guava passion fruit black tea so I decided to nab it for $2.50. They do have samples available for one tea blend per day, though. Their drinks run very sweet by default, so you may want to water it down yourself if you're worried about the high sugar. read more

I like having a set menu because it shows that the place has really tried to craft their drinks. We ordered the Peach Rose Green Tea and Passion Fruit Tangerine Guava Green Tea. I got the Peach Rose Green Tea with 50% sugar and honey boba. The drink was a good amount of sweetness and the boba was chewy but it was on the looser side. The drink flavor itself was very refreshing, however I did not like the idea of having syrup as the flavoring of the tea. I feel like we have so many milk tea places now that use real fruits and flavoring. Tpump is probably one of the OGs in the city and it is very affordable! Tpumps is a solid boba milk tea place, period. What I appreciate about Tpumps is consistency. When it comes to boba milk tea drinks, I'm very picky about my boba texture. Tpumps boba has always been soft, chewy, and perfectly cooked. I also appreciate the sweetness! I end up getting less sweet for my drink, and it's just the right amount of sugar in the end for me. With Tpumps comes variety as well. Now, if you love classic (milk) tea drinks, then this is probably not the place for you. It does taste relatively artificial, but that is at the expense of making the drinks very customizable. I don't usually come to get milk tea looking for premium quality drinks with authentic tea flavors anyway! The only comment that I have is that I did notice they increased their prices. I paid $5 for a regular drink with no add-ons or replacements. I have been coming to Tpumps for many years and I still enjoy their drinks to this day! I've heard from other people that they think the drinks at Tpumps are watered down, but for me it hasn't been too much of an issue. What's great is that they still have their Tpumps Tuesday deal where you can upgrade to a Pumbo size (32 oz) for the price of a Tpumps size (24 oz). As of February 2023, the price is $5 for a Tpumps size and $6 for a Pumbo size, so you're saving a $1 off the larger size on Tuesdays! They also added other deals for other days of the week including Matcha Mondays and Hot Tea Thursdays where you can get the free upgrade to the Pumbo size! My go to order is a strawberry, passion fruit, and peach drink with black tea, milk, normal sweetness, boba, and less ice. I've recommended my drink to my friends and they also like the drink! I also get the rose and vanilla green milk tea which is one of their top customer drinks! Their boba is also soft and chewy too and is better to eat while it's still fresh. Occasionally, my drink can come out to be a little watered down, so I usually ask for less ice. Tpumps may not be everyone's favorite, but for me it's local and affordable and I like getting my usual drink whenever I want to satisfy my boba craving! read more

The system in place for Covid-19 is great. I love how they had a microphone in place at both ends so the customer and the cashier isn't shouting at each other. There was also a microphone at the pickup station in case of any wrong orders or questions. As for the drink itself I thought it was really nice. I could really taste the litchi in my drink and a bit of the peach, but not so much the mango. The boba was really soft and chewy which I really enjoyed. I ended up panicking and getting my go-to boba order - taro black tea with brown sugar boba. It was good! I wish the taro flavor was a little stronger and that it wasn't so watery.
