I ordered the chocolate cookie dough with light boba. The size I got was called Pumpo which was huge so I couldn't finish it. I would suggest getting the smaller size which is called the Tpump. It was surprising delicious! There's been times where I've been to boba places and the tapioca balls were hard or shriveled up - so nasty! But the tapioca balls here are perfect and have a great chew. My drink was pretty sweet but I like it like that. You always have the option of telling them how sweet you want it too. I definitely suggest coming here if you're craving a tasty boba drink. I like how they also have a wall you can draw on to keep you busy while you wait for your drink to be made. read more

Tpumps always has great boba. It's so chewy and soft, great texture. I always get extra boba in mine. I love that you are able to customize your drink however you want. They have a big variety of options available. I always get the strawberry, peach, mango black milk tea with very light sugar. Their drinks are really sweet, so I recommend getting less sugar. On Tuesdays, it's a free upgrade to a Pumpo size (32 oz). Such a great deal, but I can never finish their 32 oz cup. They recently raised their prices, but still very worth it for the size. I love Tpumps! Unfortunately they're locations are pretty far from me (East Bay) so I don't get to go very often. Was in SF to play tourist and ended up stopping by here. They currently have the inside of the store closed. You order at the door and there's a window to pick up your order so don't get dissuaded by the long lines outside. It moves pretty quickly. Tpumps offers the customers that ability to make a lot of customizations. They have a whole list of different fruit flavors that you can mix and match to make your own unique flavor of milk tea. Fiancé and I got: Rose Vanilla Green Milk Tea​​ and Salted Caramel Cookie Dough Black Milk Tea. Both tasted great as per usual. I do recommend going down on your sweetness level when you go to a Tpumps. I find their drinks to be sweeter than other boba places. read more

I've had T Pumps in LA so I new what to expect in terms of drinks, however, this is the best customer service I've ever experienced at a boba shop. The girl at the cash register was telling just jokes and gave her recommendations for the drinks. T Pumps boba is amazing! It's so cheap, like you can't beat $3.50 boba for 24 oz anywhere else, especially for SF standard of living. They have so many combinations to choose from and you can mix and match everything. And everything is delicious and refreshing. Get their popping boba while at it! The only downside to this place is that there is no tables nor chairs so you can't actually stay in here to enjoy your drink. Parking is always a hassle if you're not lucky, and the line is always out the door! Nonetheless service is super fast and don't keep you waiting. The variety you can get here is crazy! Your drink is what you make of it - all the different combination possibilities is what makes it fun for me :) I actually keep a note in my phone which I update to keep track of the different drinks I've had! It tasted really sweet though, almost like a 75% or 100%. I think it's because of the syrups. But the drink was massive. The tea flavor was subtle. I combined the flavors of Rose, Lychee, and Lemon in my black tea. The lemon flavor was overpowering and I was unable to taste the rose and lychee as much as I wanted it to be. They had a lavender tea out for sampling which wasn't that great and tasted like fabuloso, the cleaning liquid. PASS. I did like that they had $2 daily specials. They had decent drinks to choose from, but of course, I wanted something else. I usually do fruit teas when coming to Tpumps because it's a safer choice. I come here for Tpumps Tuesdays. On Tuesdays any drink is upgraded to a large for free and you are able to add boba for no extra charge as well. My go to drink is the Rose Vanilla Green Milk Tea with boba. The rose and vanilla flavor just tie in really well and works well with the green tea. They have other flavors, some other ones that are good are the peach green tea or lavender milk tea. The only issue I had with my order that day was the boba was unfortunately clumpy. My straw kept getting clogged with the boba. Once I was finished with the drink I could see a big clump of boba fused together. read more

TLDR: Barista shaker lid found in sealed drink cup I always go here with my friends every week for their Tuesday special deal, their drinks have always been spot on and their boba is just the right amount of chewy. Theres not that many boba spots in the middle of San Francisco but tpumps is one of the better ones. If you liike to customize your drinks, you have to come here. You can choose up to 3 tea flavors, then green or black tea, with or without milk. I made a peach, mango, passion fruit green tea. There's 2 sizes. There's only a dollar difference so might as well get the largest size for $5. It took me and entire time finish it loll The boba is super soft but not a mooshy soft. It's soft and chewy. read more
