I finally visited Diamond Coffee N Pastry on National Shih Tzu Day this week. I first heard about this place because my sister told me about it. I was thrilled to know that their mascot is a Shih Tzu! :D Shih Tzus are my favorite! My beloved Mokibaby went to heaven back in Dec '23. I found out that Diamond went to heaven a year & half ago. I found spot on the street about 3 blocks away. Not too bad. I'm trying to get more steps in so I don't mind the walk. Upon walking in, I was greeted by the staff that was working there. He was friendly and nice. I got a Toasted S'mores Latte and a Ferraro Rocher Croffle. Both were delicious! I also bought some merch too! I got a tote bag, a bigger bag, water bottle, and a sippy cup. He also gave me a paper bag and an insulated bag to hold my items. The place is cute, bright, cozy, and clean. I would definitely return again whenever I'm in SF again! I went here on a Saturday around 2pm and there wasn't much of a wait in line. There was only one other person in line at the time I went. The cafe was pretty full at the time though since many people were dining at the tables inside. I ended up ordering the Zebra Mocha which is one of their flavored coffee options. It took a while for them to finish making my drink that day, but when I got my drink, it had a cute heart design on my drink which is so cute! This cafe also sells croffles here too which I thought was cool. Anyways, the mocha I got was good, but I wish it was a little more sweet since it tasted more like a normal coffee to me. I'd recommend this place! The drink still tasted good even though I felt like it tasted like a normal cup of coffee. I also like how they sell baked goods like croffles since not many places sell that. read more

Staff here are super friendly and patient in recs. Also a plus that they love dogs and gave my doggie a treat. I tried their matcha tiramisu latte this time and it was refreshing. Stopped by Diamond Coffee N Pastry in the Outer Sunset around 11:30am on a Sunday when Karl the fog hadn't cleared out yet for the day. I've been wanting to visit Diamond Coffee N Pastry since when they had only one location - now it seems they have 3? It's cozy inside and was thoroughly decorated for the Halloween season - super cute. The workers warmly greeted us and offered a free sticker after we ordered. I got the honeycomb latte, which was milky, sweet and came topped with a little bit of honeycomb. Tasty, but not too strong on the coffee flavor. I'm glad I finally got to try Diamond Coffee N Pastry, and I hope to come back another time to try their waffles, and maybe stay to sit and chat with a friend since the ambiance is so nice inside! read more

So, of course, curiosity got the best of me, and I walked in and got the first thing that caught my eye, which, as you can tell, with the lady finger, is tiramisu coffee. It was yum!! Came here on a weekend when there was a certain outside festival in Golden Gate Park, but luckily the line was not too long! While I've been to their Richmond location a few times before, this was my first time ordering in this small and aesthetic coffee shop. I ordered their hot Vanille Latte with Oat Milk. While not that many people were waiting, it did take a while (around 15 minutes) for my order to come out. The latte was not too sweet (which was perfect for my taste) and had a strong vanilla taste! I drank my drink pretty quickly on a cold and windy day, and the sizing compared to price of the drink was reasonable. I love the vibes of the place to catch up with friends and study, or to grab something to-go like I did recently and enjoy it elsewhere! Came on a weekend with some friends. We wanted coffee from a local place before our afternoon commitments. This seemed perfect for us! The inside is quite small and quaint. They have a lot of cute dog merch and lovely decor. I really liked it! The baristas were also very friendly in helping us pick out drinks. I got a bacon croffle and cold brew. The bacon croffle was not too big, not crispy and not soft. It tasted a bit stale. The cold brew was standard cold brew, maybe a little more bitter. I got oat milk and hazelnut nut but flavors were a bit muted for me. This place was maybe not for me but I think for other people it may fit their fancy. OMG! A cute, clean, friendly, cozy, small, quiet Sunset cafe where you can still sit?! AND the coffee is consistent, reliable, with great service AND predictable flavor - EVERY time? YES PLEASE! (Ok - parking can be a pain but SF is a pain). I have ordered either a coffee, a latte or a Cappuccino here over the last 3 years and they are still consistent in make and flavor. For me, KNOWING what I am getting is paramount. You get that at Starbucks (milky teen drinks) and USED to get that at Henry's House of Coffee (now, a crap shoot). DIAMOND to the rescue. PLAIN Croissants are no Jane the Bakery BUT respectably buttery, often warm in the mornings, with a gentle crunch to the skin. APRICOT croissant was underbaked inside but OK overall. It's a super cute store, the decor is pretty and cozy. It was pretty busy when I arrived. Once the drinks were done you have to get it yourself which I thought they serve to you. Parking was okay not too hard to find but also not easy to find. I always get hesitant in ordering a matcha latte anywhere because you can either do it good or bad. I ordered a matcha latte here and the flavor didn't taste much matcha, I tasted more milk and I didn't really like that but I have to drink it because it was 7$. I saw on another review that someone said they charge $1 extra for cold which I don't understand, you get less anyways because the ice is there. I'm leaving it 3 stars because the store is cute and I love nice and cozy place that is also clean, service was quick but it's more of "get it yourself" but they ask for tip. Staff was friendly when taking my order but -1 star because the matcha was more milk. -1 star for charging 1$ more for cold which doesn't make sense. This is a nice small coffee shop. The merchandise is really cute and the staff members were nice. I tried the strawberry croffle, which was a little bland. The creme wasn't too sweet, but also added nothing to the taste of the whole item. The iced Kona Mocha was delicious. It was very smooth and chocolaty. I tried their Dalgona Latte, but unfortunately, it was a big letdown. The drink just tasted like a regular cafe latte with literally two pieces of Dalgona thrown on top - barely enough to call it a Dalgona Latte. I've been to other Diamond Coffee locations (like the one on Clement St) and had a much better experience. They're generous with the Dalgona, and you can actually taste it blended into the drink. I love this coffee shop, it's so cute and well decorated. It's super cozy. It opens a tad later in the day, but perfect since it's right on the Muni N train stop of 31st and Judah. The pour over is quick if you ever need coffee on the go, and ya gotta explore all the lattes, they're flavorful. I like the zebra one. They also have this super expensive boguie coffee bean pour over coffee, that around $15, so if you're up for something new, try it! Additionally, the WiFi is pretty janky as the employee informed me it could support up to 10-12 devices at a time; thus, i was unable to complete work. I felt discriminated and exiled. Aside from this set back, the coffee and food were both really good! The drink was a bit on the sweet end so I'd recommend lowering the sweetness or adding more ice for those with a different palate. The coffee selection includes your basic fare as well as unique seasonal drinks. They offer some cute merchandise based on mostly dog products. The best part is that the prices are very much affordable at about $5-$6 a cup. We visited during a Sunday afternoon and the entire coffee shop was packed. Theres only a few tables inside so if you're lucky you may be able to secure a spot. Theres two tables outside as well. The cashier was friendly and made our two drinks within a few minutes. We ordered the horchata drink with 2 shots of espresso and the kona coconut latte. The horchata drink had a strong cinnamon flavor while being milky, sweet and creamy. The kona coconut latte was rich and smooth with a nice coconut finish. I would recommend both drinks as they were each distinct in their own way and quite refreshing. In addition to the drink menu on the wall, there was also a seasonal menu located next to the register. Took us a minute to decide what we wanted as there were also so many pastries to choose from. Hubs decided on the Zebra mocha (white and dark chocolate) and I went with the Brown Sugar Biscoff latte. The coffees weren't too sweet. Both drinks were ok. My latte tasted more like a sweet milk as the coffee taste was light - I tend to like my coffees stronger. Hubs also ordered a chocolate croissant, which he liked. The inside is pretty small but very bright and has a light wooden aesthetic. Iced Chai Latte - It was a good amount of sweetness and we liked the balance between the tea and the milk. The spices were pretty mild but the cinnamon they sprinkled on top was nice when we mixed it together. Strawberry Croffle - Very spring and summer dessert. The croffle kind of had a mochi texture to it and was a good base for the cream cheese on top which was light and the strawberries which added most of the sweetness. Tiramisu Croffle - Similar to the strawberry croffle with the cream cheese but this one had pretzels and cocoa powder on top. The only thing about this one was it had too much cocoa powder on top where it dried out my throat a little. In that long final stretch of the N-Judah line between 19th Avenue and Ocean Beach, there had been little reason for me to get off the train. However, now that this corner cafe has opened right at the 31st Avenue stop, I have a reason to press that stop button. It's a comfortable little spot that looks to be doing a good job of attracting locals. Laptoppers appear to hold court at the community table, but I've usually been able to find a seat. I've noticed how well the staff keeps the place pretty clean and organized in here. Bone Appetit! There's nothing like finding a cute coffee spot with delicious drinks and pastries! The service is quick and the staff is friendly. The interior is so aesthetically pleasing! The service here is so great. We brought our dog along and didn't realize they were so pet friendly :) They even offered her treats and a bowl of water!!
