Me and my friend ordered Summer Peach Peach (I think) and my friend added lychee jelly to hers. I ordered on Kiosk, but the ladies were super nice! It's an extremely cozy little space with plenty of options to choose from, foods and drinks. The drink was delicious! It tastes just like peach. But since it was a really hot day, the slush melted pretty quickly... Still tasted good though of course. The peach jelly was super soft and was very subtle. I maybe would substitute it though with lychee jelly because I like the crunch. And the whole peach... I didn't realize it was a peach for a while, but in my opinion I didn't think it tasted like a peach. I thought it was maybe pudding at first But it's so hard to describe what it tasted like... My favorite was the whipped cream on top. I thought it perfectly paired the peach slushie. Definitely would come back but I want to try more different things. I would totally recommend Summer Peach Peach (I think) to anybody who LOVESSS peaches, like me and my friend (It's her favorite drink). read more

I was in the area and after my class, popped in to try their Hong Kong style milk tea. It's one price $6.75. My receipt says with boba but I didn't want any and still the price was the same. The drink was good. I wish there was an option to cut down on the sugar which wasn't too sweet but I wanted less sugar. Might try another drink next time and if they're going to charge me for the boba anyways, I'm going to add it . Their menu online says without boba $6.25 but she charged me $6.75. We tried the Taro and watermelon bobas. They are heavy on the fruit, without the tapioca pearls, so a different kind of boba. It's a tiny little place where we actually sat and drank our bobas, but we were probably the only people to do that in years. read more

I was slightly disappointed by the drink because I could only taste mango and sweet milk, but no pomelo flavor. Also, the sago was a bit hard instead of chewy and bouncy. They have a good selection of different teas, along with fruit flavors and unique Asian toppings like mini taro ball, popping water nut, popping barley, purple rice that you don't often find as other boba shops. Service is always friendly at this small mom and pop shop so I do appreciate supporting local businesses. They have a nice snack menu too for those that go to school or tutoring near by. Consistency can sometimes be hit or missed in terms of their boba. I have had some that are nice and chewy and a couple of times where it was undercooked. My dad came across this place on TGTG and wanted to try it out! When we arrived, the drinks were made fresh. We ended up getting a thai tea and a peach oolong milk tea. The thai tea was pretty strong and had good flavor but the peach oolong tea flavor was a bit lighter. The surprise bag was $5 for 2 drinks so overall pretty worth it. We also tried their taro milk tea, but their taro flavor was not as strong as we preferred. Service is quick (about 5 min) and staff were kind. My Cup of Tea has some serious competition! We came by on a Saturday afternoon and it was pretty empty. We were the only ones in the shop for about 2 minutes before a small line began to form. Since this was my first time, I decided to defer to their Top Ten drinks and got the "Belgium Biscuit Brown Sugar Milk Tea". I honestly think the Belgium biscuit is similar to a Bischoff but didn't want to give a brand to them. It was really good! I really enjoyed my drink. Perfectly sweet for me (got 100% sweet) but honestly, I think you need to get 100% ice which is something I never really suggest but their boba is FRESH and HOT! Instantly melted my ice LOL. Their boba is nice and chewy, has a great QQ to it. There is QUITE a bit of boba so the ratio is a bit off BUT I didn't super mind it. It was nice and creamy but more sweet than it was a "milk tea" where they tend to be a bit bitter. Can't wait to come back and try their other drinks! read more

I had a pleasant experience going to YY Coffee & Tea in my most recent visit. I felt bad being THAT customer that came in 10 minutes before closing which is a pain I felt before. Still the service was still good and the ordering process is easy since they have a kiosk at the entrance. The inside is really cozy and well decorated. I ordered the Belgian Biscuit Brown Sugar Milk Tea w/ Boba ($6.50). This drink was pretty sweet at 75%, but to be fair thats my fault for choosing a brown sugar drink and getting it at a higher sweetness. The drink was still good and the belgian biscuit really does have an affect on the flavor of the drink. They have a lot more unique drinks than this on their menu so I would have to try the rest of their menu to really get a better feel of this boba shop. I liked the flavor of the tea here and it did not taste watered down at all. I'm definitely coming back again to try what else they have to offer and it is located in a convenient location surrounded by plenty of good restaurants. I've lost track but they're the third or fourth boba shop to open in this location since the pandemic. I happen to be browsing through menus when YY Coffee & Milk Tea caught my attention....Persimmon Coconut Milk Smoothie! I believe this may be only place in the city where you'll find a persimmon based drink. Otherwise, you'll have to trek to one of the Tong Sui locations in the Peninsula & South Bay for seasonal persimmon drinks and desserts. They're open everyday starting at 8:30 AM (!) for takeout and delivery. And, they're on bunch of apps: DoorDash, UberEats, Fantuan, HungryPanda, etc. Not on Snackpass tho. They're short-staffed with only person working so I highly recommend ordering ahead. MealKeyway seems to the only one with no upcharges. M E N U Aside from the usual milk tea, brown sugar, fruit tea series, they have some unique offerings like ovaltine, fruit coffee lattes (hello, durian!), and seasonal specials like the persimmon coconut milk smoothie. For those with a sweet tooth, they have decadent drinks with crème brûlée tops or a ferrero rocher milk tea. Affordable prices: $3.75-$6.25. No dairy alternatives. I noticed there was a new boba/coffee shop in my neighborhood so I had to check this place out! I've only been here for coffee, so I can only attest to their coffee. Inside there is a kiosk that you can order from, but you can also order at the cash register. I've only came here in the morning so it wasn't too busy! The inside is small but very cozy. There is only a couple of bar stool seat facing a wall so do not expect to hang out here with a large group of people. I went here a couple times and I've tried the Coconut Iced Latte, Ovaltine coffee Latte, and the Jasmine Green Tea Coffee Latte with Oat milk. You have an option to adjust your sweetest and ice level. All their drinks were great and not too sweet (the highest form of asian compliment). My favorite is definitely the Coconut Iced Latte which uses coconut milk so it is lactose intolerant friendly! The coconut flavor was perfect where you don't think it's too overpowering but also strong enough to taste it! This place might be my new go to coffee shop! I always enjoy finding something new to me in San Francisco. When I arrived inside the YY Coffee and Tea it seemed it has been taken over by a group of students who were part of a field trip and were thrilled to order their favorite beverage . The inside atmosphere felt like the modern day version of the classic San Francisco ice cream parlor. Everyone of all ages were excited to give the Bobatender their order. I seen about dozens of orders made by the Bobatender and some of the orders looked interesting like the Summer Peach Peach , Oreo Latte ,Creme Brulee Brown Sugar Milk Tea ,and Strawberry Matcha Latte. So I had to peep out the kiosk menu. They had a ( Ice Only) Top 10. I ordered the Peach Watermelon Bubbles Yakult which was on the Top 10 list. It was a bit sweet ( adjusting the percentage on my next visit) but not too sweet and the flavor was juicy especially on a warm day in San Francisco. This drink satisfies no matter the weather.
