Lavender latte
April N.

Second time trying andytown and wanted to try their seasonal Candied lavender late! I enjoyed the whip cream and the candied lavender was light. It wasn't too sweet of a drink which I enjoyed. I also got the breakfast sandwich and while I did wait a while it was yummy! The bread was the best part, it was very crunchy and crisp. Service was okay and the ambiance was small but lots of outdoor seating!

Andytown Coffee Roasters in the Sunset District is always a treat and one of our go-to spots. We usually stop by before heading to the beach for a walk or before running weekend errands. We come here often, if not every week, then every other week, especially to pick up espresso whole beans. The quality of their beans is consistently great, and we love supporting local roasters. Coffee is always solid, the vibe is relaxed, and it's a perfect stop whether you're out for a walk or just need a good cup of coffee. Highly recommend if you're looking for quality coffee and great local beans.

Little friendly coffee place in a narrow store front you can miss if you were not looking. No couches of big sofas. Just wooden benches.

Matcha Plover

Stopped by Andytown Coffee Roasters while on a walk. I decided to order the matcha plover and was pleasantly surprised. It's a unique flavor and the cream adds a nice sweetness to the drink. I also tried the snowy plover and the flavor of the coffee was good. The service was friendly and quick. The shop itself is small, but has a nice outdoor sitting area to wait for your drink or to sit and chill.

Snowy Plover

Andytown will always be one of my top picks for coffee in San Francisco! We decided to come to this location since we were in the area. I picked up the Snowy Plover original and a bag of coffee beans. The Wind & Sea blend is always a solid pick. You also can't visit Andytown without trying the Snowy Plover, it's amazing and highly recommend getting it.

Iced matcha latte

Friendly service. The coffee is great. I'm not a fan of the plover though. I decided to venture out to try a matcha latte. It was a bit sweet so I waited a while for the ice to dilute it! There was also little to no matcha flavor..

The snowy plover was really good, I highly recommend trying it. I definitely want to come back for the matcha version. This location was clean and had fast and friendly service. I'll be back next time I'm in the area for sure.

Andytown Coffee Roasters is a wonderful place to grab a drink! The service is usually pleasant and friendly, which makes each visit a treat. I recommend their matcha or the seasonal pumpkin spice latte--both are fantastic options. Recently, I tried their matcha plover, and while I'm usually not a fan of soda water, this drink was a game-changer. The mixture of matcha with lightly sweetened soda water topped with their house-made whipped cream was absolutely delicious and refreshing. It's unique & worth trying! You can also opt for the espresso version. Definitely a great place to stop by for quality drinks and has the whole aesthetic coffee shop vibe going on.

The original bird x2 and Iced vanilla with oat and brown sugar syrup

One of my favorite coffee spots to date in the Bay Area. I checked out a new location in Sunset district on a rainy Friday morning. We were quickly greeted by staff and welcomed in by the warm ambiance and decor. I like how we were able to see the coffee bean preparation in the back of the store, which added a historical and museum-like touch to the store. My companions both ordered the Original Bird. They thoroughly enjoyed their drink and thought the combination of soda and cream made a fun drink. 5/5 from both of them. My latte was delicious and perfectly sweetened by the syrup! I have a preference for not-to-sweet drinks, so I found it to my liking. It was also well balanced with the creamy oat milk . 5/5 as well. Overall a nice Andytown location with cute decorations! Once again not disappointed.

We tried Andytown after seeing some "places to go in SF" Youtube video prior to our trip there. It was a short walk from our motel and on the way to our destination. We ordered a Pumpkin Spice latte (with oat milk and a hat on it) and a grilled cheese breakfast sandwich and it was so delicious we had to come back the next morning for another latte. I bought some beans and have yet to try them, so perhaps an update will be coming! This place can be overwhelming when it's busy (Friday morning) as it's quite small, so maybe order ahead! The baristas were friendly and even in the chaos and with a line, helped me pick some beans!

Small corner coffee shop with some bench seating inside and more seating outside. Coffee was good, music was good, staff seemed friendly and lively.

The original bird, matcha latte, and cheesie toastie

Staff were so incredibly friendly and good at giving recs, I tried the original bird for something new and it was really really good!! I got less sweet than typical bc I don't like my coffee too sweet and it was a great level for me plus the whipped cream was delish I wish the cup was full of it! My friends said the food was really good and I tasted the muffin it was really nice and soft plus a good banana flavor! Cute vibe but very small, the outdoor seating was nice tho in the back! Still not many seats tho so be prepped for that

Mrs. Rooiboson almond milk latte
Jacqueline U.

Walk on the beach until you're too cold to think. Then follow the coffee smell into Andytown Coffee Roasters. I can't do caffeine, so I got a large Mrs. Rooiboson almond milk latte. Rooibos makes a great hot drink; the Herb gives not a kick, but a delightful sparkle. Combined with freshly steamed almond milk and now you have a big mug of warming joy to sip. Andytown gives you a discount when you remember to bring your own mug. Thoughtful seating is available in front and in back!

Please get better lids for your cups. They pop off the drink all the time and it ends up spilling on me.

Whether you're grabbing a quick coffee before Ocean Beach or meeting up with friends on a foggy morning, it just feels like one of those places that's always been there. I sincerely hope it stays that way for years to come. While they're well known for their coffee, I keep coming back for the pastries. The Original Bird is nothing short of incredible. Flaky, buttery, perfectly baked, and dangerously easy to polish off in just a few bites. It's one of those pastries I find myself craving long after I've left. Their seasonal offerings have been just as impressive. The recent Mango Plover was a fantastic addition to the menu with bright, fresh flavors that felt perfect for the summer. It's always nice to see a neighborhood favorite continue experimenting while still delivering the quality people have come to expect. Over the years, Andytown has earned its reputation as a Sunset staple. The quality has remained consistently high, the pastries are some of the best in the neighborhood, and it's the kind of local business that's easy to root for. If you find yourself in the Sunset, stop in, grab an Original Bird, and see what all the hype is about. Chances are it won't be your last visit.

On the days we have gone, the line has varied from being out the door to a quick walk in and order - truly just depends. Regardless of the long line, these drinks are soooo good. Upon entering the coffee shop, you'll see a good amount of seating, but for the times we have gone, the majority of the seats are taken. It is definitely a variety of people socializing, working, reading books, or just hanging out. Parking is metered or street parking, and we haven't had any issue finding parking! It's also in an area where you can shop around (across the street) if you want to grab a bite as well. Our go to orders include the Mocha Dream Espresso Cloud and the Nitro Mango, but we have also gotten the Hojicha Cloud, which is amazing as well. Overall, a solid option for well priced coffee that roasts in house beans, but do need to watch milk temperature so that it is not too hot to drink.

I wasn't even aware this low-profile shop was even here because it melts imperceptibly on Taraval's blandest commercial block in the Outer Sunset. This is also where Andytown roasts and packages all their beans. I saw some of this activity happening in a flurry behind the barista. I didn't know Andytown has a Northern Irish heritage but found out their in-house baked goods reflect that lineage. I ordered the $3.50 Chocolate Chip Cookie, and the prominent amount of salt was indicative of true Irish technique (Photo 10).
