Cute place. Can order from kiosk or call over an employee. We got a basic milk tea with boba, 75% sugar and wanpee fruit tea, 0 sugar. The milk tea was good, not too much creamer and all around classic taste including the tea. Boba texture was perfect and didn't stick together. Wanpee fruit tea was perfect sweetness without any added sugar. Very refreshing. It took a while to get our drinks even though it didn't seem busy, but at least when our drinks were ready, the employee served them graciously. read more

I ordered catering from Mew Tea, and the entire experience was super streamlined and convenient, from start to finish! Henry responded to all my emails quickly and managed to organize mid-day delivery to my office. Drinks were delicious and delivered on-time in great condition (going as far as to cover all the drinks with bags of ice to preserve the temperature), and they were even kind enough to throw in some free mango puddings that we thoroughly enjoyed. I was in the area today and decided to try this new boba spot out. I got here a little before 4pm and there were 2 groups ahead of me. There's one kiosk to order from, and I believe there was only one person making the drinks. I ordered the Caramel-Top Creme Brulee Milk Tea w Boba at 25% sweetness. It was definitely still sweet even at 25% and I'm not surprised given there's creme brulee. The sweetness level was good for me though. The boba had the perfect balance of chewiness and softness. I loved that it was not soaked in sugar. On the first sip, the flavor reminded me of Asian soymilk. The drink was creamy and good, but I wished I could taste the tea a bit more. read more

This was a tough one because the decor was so cute. They had these adorable cats and quotes on the walls. I ordered a Jasmine milk tea and patiently waited as they were slammed. The drink itself was ok. The Jasmine tea was not as pronounced as other milk tea places. My assumption is that they received a lot of orders all at once and that they didn't properly steep the tea so the drink had no flavor beyond the milk. The boba also had the same problem and was flavorless and not as qq. I think if I came at a different time without the rush it may have been different, but if they are busy I'd probably order something else. My family said the fruit tea was really good so maybe get that if they are busy as that doesn't require the proper steeping. read more

This is such a cute place for boba in SF! We happened to walk by here and gave it a try, and it was really good! I got a brown sugar boba milk, and the boba was fresh and warm. We ordered off a kiosk, so didn't get any individual service, but the decor was so cute! Everything cat-themed. Happened to eat lunch across the street and noticed that Mew Tea has their soft opening! Was used to seeing Three Polar Bears so it was different and we needed to try to. The boba shop has little cat stickers and deco everywhere though minimal. We ordered on a screen vs with a person and it took about 15 minutes to get our drinks. We were the only ones there but I guess they're still sorting things out. We ordered the peach oolong milk tea and the mango pomelo sago drinks. The drinks had real fruits in it. The peach flavor was good. The mango pomelo didn't have enough mango flavor in it. Overall, still nice addition to the neighborhood! read more

The owners need to get a grip and provide appropriate staffing or allow employees to pause delivery services when they're slammed. Just because people will keep buying your acai bowls even after a bad experience like this, doesn't make it right that you treat your employees so poorly. They deserve better!

On the days we have gone, the line has varied from being out the door to a quick walk in and order - truly just depends. Regardless of the long line, these drinks are soooo good. Upon entering the coffee shop, you'll see a good amount of seating, but for the times we have gone, the majority of the seats are taken. It is definitely a variety of people socializing, working, reading books, or just hanging out. Parking is metered or street parking, and we haven't had any issue finding parking! It's also in an area where you can shop around (across the street) if you want to grab a bite as well. Our go to orders include the Mocha Dream Espresso Cloud and the Nitro Mango, but we have also gotten the Hojicha Cloud, which is amazing as well. We love the thickness and flavors of the cold foams - you cannot go wrong with any of the cloud drinks. As popular as this place has become, it truly is worth the trip! After waiting over 20 minutes, I finally approached the counter to check on it, only to find the staff had completely forgotten the order. While they apologized and asked me to wait another 5 minutes to make the drink, the delay was entirely avoidable given how quiet the shop was. Beyond the wait, there were some noticeable operational and professional issues: - Staff Dynamics: There were two employees working. The male staff member spent most of the time in the back and occasionally popping out to direct the female staff member to make crepes and handle tasks before retreating to the kitchen area. I had to explicitly prompt him about my missing order before he stepped in to make the drink. - Workplace Professionalism: When checking on the delay, I noticed opened containers of alcohol in the kitchen area. An occasional forgotten order happens, but the combination of a 20-minute wait in an empty shop and a lack of professionalism behind the counter was highly frustrating. I hope management takes this feedback as an opportunity to review their staffing practices and service standards.
