Chris from TR Miller Plumbing was beyond exceptional...he left my home about twenty minutes ago and I needed to write a review before continuing on about my day. His knowledge of hot water heaters was no less than what you'd expect an astronaut to know about their spaceship. But what impressed me even more was his ability to explain everything. He didn't just tell me what was wrong--he took the time to understand my hester's situation, explain how my current unit fit into my home, what a repair would actually accomplish, and how that compared to replacing it. I walked away anctually understanding my options instead of just being handed a bill. Beyond that, he was just a genuinely good person to have in the house. They would not tell me how much they charge for a pound of R-410 refrigerant. I have to have them come out and pay them $79 to find out. If you have to hide your pricing until the tech is in your house, likely you are overcharging people. I will probably pay more for this service by going with Anytime Heating & AC, but at least I know the cost up front! read more

My HVAC guy was on vacation and our AC went out. He recommended TR Miller and they were able to get to us the next day. Turns out our blower motor was dead. They charged me $1800 to replace it, after trying to upsell me on a new furnace or a new wheel for the blower and a service plan. We went with just the motor and I had our guy come out to see if we really needed a new furnace or wheel. The blower motor that was installed typically costs about $250 so the labor was $1550. When I asked the technician why the high cost as our guy said it should be less than $1000 his response that TR Miller is a big business and can't offer prices that smaller companies can. Needless to say I feel taken advantage of and would not recommend TRMiller. The two stars is only because they got to us the next day. read more

They installed our furnace/AC 20 something years ago, when they were named Tamarack, there service and pricing was second to none. They still had the same phone number when I called recently to get an estimate on new HVAC.. I was dissapointed at first, when they told me they are TR MILLER now. But the man that answered the phone was the previous owner. He explained he retired, but his sons took the business over. He remembered me and my husband. So I had them come out, and they were fantastic. Pricing, install,and service was something you really don't see of anymore. When it was time for a 3 and 6 month check up, they called me. Which indicates they are very service oriented. With all the choices out there today, it can really get confusing, but rest assured TR Miller is a company you can really trust. 8/6/2026 I wasn't sure if I wanted to leave a review, but I think it's a good idea that I do. Seeking Kinetico products I scheduled an estimate for 10am. I called at 10:12am to see if the tech was on the way and I was told yes. Then I got busy cleaning. Waiting to hear a doorbell ring, but realizing it hadn't, I went to my phone and found a text saying that my appointment had been canceled because I didn't respond to the text they sent asking me to confirm the day's appointment. This text was sent AFTER I called at 10:12am. The text went on to say that maybe there'd be time in the afternoon or some other day. I called the company and I said, yo, please. I'm here today at this house.Can you get somebody over here. They did, but they royally messed up the rest of my day. Domino effect on my calendar. It cost me $. The company also quoted me over $750 to remove a single bowl laundry room sink. Today I had a plumber on site and this is what I spent: LAUNDRY ROOM Sink disconnected New shut off valves SPIGGOT WATER LINES 2 shut off valves installed in the basemen to shut off the 2 spiggots and spent... $362.28 I now have serious concerns about inflated costs on my estimates for the water softener and RO system. I also realize I have to babysit my phone while I'm engaged in deep cleaning floors so I don't miss a confirming text otherwise my appointment will be canceled. The single star I chose shines very brightly for the tech that eventually showed up. He was professional and a great communicator. I won't be contacting this company for business especially not since i've read more of the reviews. read more

I had a small leak coming from an ice maker line. TR Miller came out and fixed the problem very quickly. I had to do everything remotely and other than opening the front door, they were able to accommodate me and explained everything over the phone. I have used them for the past five years for everything HVAC and plumbing related and they are pretty good. A little pricey, but they come out when you need them, and the quality is usually pretty high. The service guys are always very polite and well spoken. Andrew S. came out to finish up a warranty job today. He ended up recommending some maintenance work to boost performance of our AC unit. I appreciated that he showed me the "before" and "after" readings so I could see that the maintenance had the intended effect. I also appreciated that he took the time to review our file before he headed out to our home. The last tech here recommended service on our boiler, which Andrew knew he wasn't qualified to handle, so the office called back to verify that they weren't supposed to have it on today's ticket. I have had not heat on several occasions since putting in the new unit and called them out, the last being on New Year's Eve, 2025. They say 24/7 service but that is only for an answering service! Alex showed up on time as scheduled for the appointment. I've used TR Miller before and I've always been impressed about their scheduling communication and on time service. Alex was dressed professionally and was obviously trained well while he was there. He fixed another small issue with our furnace that was unrelated to the AC repair and helped us out for essentially no charge. I run a service industry company and I'm always jealous of how well the in the technology that they use. It's very very difficult to get service consistency and it requires a tremendous amount of training time and investment. My only issue is today's AC units and furnaces tend to break at a higher rate than units in the past. It just doesn't seem like their usable lifetime is as much as it used to be. read more
