Traci's store is by far one of the best bird store I have seen. All the birds are hand fed until they are weaned. They give you information about which bird would be best for you. Such as which was cuddle, talk, quiet, loud, aggressive, social. Things you can do to help your birds. They only have food which is good for your birds. We had our birds on zupreem and she was plucking. As soon as she switch to the food they sell, she stopped plucking. They are warm to all, not pushy. They answer all questions. The only question you'll be asked is if they can help you with anything. Or if you are looking for anything specific. We have purchased 4 birds in the last year. 3 have been rescues, 1 was a baby. They are all really great. We bought a hahns macaw that wasn't healthy, but wasn't showing any signs of it. She ended up dying 4 days after we got her. Traci being so kind and loving, felt so. Bad for us that she gave us money back, plus the previous owner felt bad as well. She looks after her birds and still keeps track of. The birds she sells to people. She really does care for the birds. We bought another hahns macaw just 2 weeks ago. (Joshua H) down in the other reviews said it didn't look good. However he left out the fact that she was brought in within that day or the next day. Someone surrendered her. If you know anything about the bird world. Bird who are surrendered aren't always in the best of shape. She got a nice grooming the saturday we got her and looks great now! The birds in the store are all really friendly!!! They can get annoyed though. If you stick your fingers in the cage they probably don't really like that. It is like someone getting into your territory. Someone you don't know and dont trust. Tracis Parrots 4U is a stellar shop. As a first timer with my green cheek, I had no idea what to expect from one compared to other birds. When this bird momma was worried, Traci especially was always there to guide me and point me in the right direction. And guess what? Her advice was right every single time. Her husband, George is an incredibly sweet guy who loves my little bird.They always ask how my GCC is when I walk in without him. On grooming days, I have had to drop my green cheek off and have my boyfriend pick him up and pay. They are incredibly willing to work with my hectic schedule and even trust that i'll promise payment if i have to leave my bird there for a while. While my bird pigs out on roudybush (which is what he was weaned on and what is recommended), he enjoys trying other foods and traci even does sell bags of seeds, millet, and other treats. Traci has just picked up a vet willing to work with her and is willing to mobilize to her store, which is incredibly convenient. my GCC is a healthy, beautiful baby bird who is as stubborn, loud, and playful as his momma. when his growing pains were making him run rampant, traci was there to help me. she genuinely cares about her birds and, while the birds may look like they're in tight cages, they're just weaning cages. once theyre sent home, the cages are much more spacious. im thankful i found Traci's. i may sound like a dearlt devoted customer, but with how Traci and her team have treated and helped me, i feel confident to say they've earned my loyalty. i couldnt recommend a better breeder! read more

We have worked with pet stores, classifieds and out of state breeders in the past before this breeder/storefront. All I can say is best experience out of any option so far. Staff is completely knowledgeable and amazing with the birds. When they didnt know an answer the owners were right there to help. The owners are kind and KNOW THEIR STUFF. Food, diet restrictions, whether or not to flight a bird, household cleaners, grooming, petting birds...any question I came up with (hundreds probably) they were kind, patient and able to answer. We wanted to take our baby macaw home before weaned. They left the decision up to me, but explained how this was dangerous for the bird herself. Keeping her longer meant more out of pocket for food, cage room, and staff. But we listened and have a beautiful intelligent, healthy baby home now after her proper weaning. They offer grooming, vet days, dna testing. Their birds come with food, toys, and a FULL SIZED cage (I literally sat inside it comfortably upon setting up!) This alone made purchasing their more of a value than any of our previous breeders/stores. We did not return to our old breeder for this fact alone. Also the food they offer is the best. I know people who drive 1hour+ just to get the food they sell. Even after coming home they love getting pics, and still answer any questions I have via phone call or text. Very knowledgeable owners and staff that have a huge passion and love for the birds they breed and ween. They have a great selection of toys and perches as well as treats for any bird breed. They take great care in sending birds home with new families and they really do their best to make sure they are going to a home were they will be happy and treated well. They also take great care in educating new bird owners on best diet and living conditions as well as answer any questions you may have. They control their store environment well to ensure their babies stay happy and healthy. The store it's self is upbeat and clean and feels like a bird paradise. We have 10 birds and 2 of them came from Traci's, including a green check conure and Indian ringneck. They were new bird breeds for us and the owners did an awesome job explaining their natural temperaments and characteristics so we could better understand what to expect. We have been to many bird stores throughout northern Utah and Las Vegas and none of them has been nearly as good an knowledgeable with birds as Traci's. They even offer beak, nails and wing grooming for a flat rate twice a month! Which relieves a lot of stress for us. Last comment: We live almost 45 minutes away and there are even stores that have bird supplies near by, but we still make a trip to Traci's at least once of month, because it is more than work read more

Went in last night to pick the brain of whoever was there about owning a parrot. Was pleased to meet Traci herself! Not knowing anything about owning or caring for a bird, I began asking a lot of questions. She was extremely helpful and patient with all my, probably annoying, questions. She was not condescending or bothered in any way by my ignorance. In fact, by the time I left, I felt ready to buy one of her birds right then! Thankfully, hopefully, I've gotten over the spontaneous buying habits. She suggested I do some research on a few different birds that would do well with my family (4 kids). The birds she did suggest seem to be exactly as she said. She had only a few birds for sell and she explained that the spring is the best time to buy as that's when most birds start breeding. The birds she did have were very beautiful and she let me hold any one I wanted and also offered to let my 5 year old son hold one. He declined. This was attractive to me. The family and friends I have that own or have owned parrots always told us to approach with caution around their birds. Maybe that's normal, but at Traci's, all of hers could be held. Thank You Traci for spending an hour with us and giving us a starting point on our path to brining a parrot into our family. I just can't say enough positive things about Traci, her shop, her employees, and the love and care they put into everything they do. Their passion for parrots is evident in the cleanliness of the store and the way they passionately talk about birds. The dispositions of their parrots show that they get lots of love and attention as well. I will be back... again and again and again. LOVE THIS PLACE! On a side note... I just saw the negative review below and part of the complaint was their bird food offering. I'll say this... if you want to buy a bird from somewhere that feeds their birds seed mixes (cheap food that is not good for birds and is high in fat), Traci's is not the place for you. If you want a place where they take the bird's health seriously and offer a healthy diet, this is it. They've done their research and they don't offer seed mixes for a reason. Also, every single time I've been in her shop, 90% of the birds aren't even in cages (unless they are babies and are still weaning), so I'm not sure about the cage complaint either. read more

We got our sweet Indian ringneck from Traci a year and a half ago. I had been wanting a bird buddy so bad, and Traci and her family were so kind and informative of all the options of birds to get. Soon after we wanted to add another bird to our family, I explained I wanted more of a cuddler this time since our ringneck is pretty hands off, and Traci knew just the bird. I met Chubby our cute rescued Quaker parrot and brought her home that day. Traci really knows her birds and knows her customers! They opened up their awesome store not long after that and we are frequent there for toys, food, treats, grooming and to look at what sweet babies they have. They are always amazing with answering questions and making everyone feel comfortable and taken care of. But most importantly they know how to care for parrots, and because of them we have our two sweet little buddies who have made our lives so much more funny, colorful and bright! We absolutely love Traci's! Her birds and supplies are very well-priced and the knowledge she shares when you visit is invaluable. We love having the option to return for affordable grooming (far less than the prices offered at other stores) and being able to see a vet in-store once or twice a month is super convenient. My kids favorite part of visiting is being able to handle the birds that are out that day...Traci's birds are so friendly! They also love checking out the new babies in the "nursery". While we were waiting for our second bird to wean, it was fun to check in and see how much the babies had grown. The toys selection is incredible (almost too much to choose from!) and a wide variety of accessories you didn't even know you needed are available. My husband and I love Traci, her staff, and the store. It is very clear everyone there adores their jobs and feathered friends. We recently bought our little guy from here and Traci has been amazingly responsive when we have questions (and man my husbands anal retentiveness results in a lot of questions). For someone who comes from a research heavy field it is nice to know Traci stays on top of her research. She will give you advice when you ask for it and then tell you its up to you. I never felt judged or pushed to doing a specific thing. And, the vet that comes in the shop was so helpful and took time to make sure all of our questions were answered. It is clear that everyone we worked with also completely understands behavioral principles and gives solid training advice. The best place to get a bird! The owners are super knowledgable, and are there to help with any questions even after you've purchased a bird. Whether you decided on a baby bird or a rescue, they inform you of everything you need to know for proper care. A purchase of a baby bird includes a full sized cage, food and toys. They are all hand fed and very social when they are ready to go home. Traci gives you a packet of information that lets you know everything you need to know about your new baby, and gives you a health guarantee. I've adopted multiple birds from here, babies and rescues and they are all fantastic!! Bought a green cheek conure that they hand raised. Extremely friendly bird who was hand-tamed and very cuddly from day one. My bird came with a cage, food, and toys. Traci and George are very friendly and knowledgeable. They have answered many questions for me since getting my bird and are always very responsive. They obviously put a lot of love and care into the birds they raise. Went back on my next visit and got an Indian ring neck. I highly recommend this shop. They have a wide selection of bird toys, treats, and cages. They periodically offer bird grooming and have a visiting avian veterinarian. I love this store, the owners are well educated, friendly and willing to help with any bird related needs that you have. The store is clean and very inviting, with tons of birds from babies to rescues that they taken in. The quality of care they give to their birds is phenomenal! From great nutrition, to lots of love and interaction with them to showcase these great pets. The birds are friendly and playful, there is a fun window to see the newly hatched babies in their "cribs" (nest) before they able to perch in a cage in the main area where customers are. Aside from a cockatiel and a few budgies when I was young, I'm a fairly new bird mom. I purchased my Quaker and pionus here and love the fact that staff are so knowledgeable about breeds and the owner is accessible pretty much all the time if you have any questions about your newly weaned baby. Food selection may not be great but they believe in what they sell. Grooming days also seem to turn into bird socials with other parents, if you like. I know some people are turned off by the price of the birds but they all come with good quality cages, toys, and a huge bag of food. read more

Great place for anything bird related. They truly look out for what's best for your birds. I have purchased high quality toys, accessories and a cage from them. I also purchase my Roudybush pellets here and they're the best price around. I drive up from Utah County to shop here and it's well worth the hour drive each way. Me and my husband have had so many questions about getting a second bird and they answered all of my annoying questions and worries.
