If you are in the market for a reptile friend this is the place to go. They have a huge selection and they have all been well taken care of. You can tell everyone in the shop loves what they do. Its family owned and you can tell by the care they take in all the details and knowledge they all have. We got a baby bearded dragon here a few months ago and they got us everything we needed before leaving the store along with a pamplet on care. The staff is friendly and the store is so cool. Love all the artwork on the outside of the building. It has such a fun vibe. We love our beardie and will continue to go to Marks for all our reptile needs.

This place is... well, it's ok. I remember it being great, but over time it has gone downhill. Even looking back now after learning a lot more exotics, my opinion has been changing. Prices in many cases are almost double what you would pay from breeders, and the more affordable are often in poor condition. At my last recent visit I noticed a young basilisk lizard in a very small and very dry habitat. I noticed right away that he was suffering from stomatitis (aka mouth rot), and when I asked an employee to let me hold him he started telling me about how he was being sold for such a good deal and upon seeing how closely I was inspecting his mouth, informed me of how it was normal for them to "bang up" their faces. The second I told him it was mouth rot (which any experienced keeper would know) he backtracked right away and acted like he had no idea. There was also multiple species of tortoises from different climates being kept in the same little enclosure. For a store that really advertises being exotic animal experts, I am thoroughly not impressed.

Chameleon

I've been going to marks ark for years now, I absolutely love this place! I just bought a veiled chameleon from them and he is extremely healthy and is settling in great! I had previously bought a giant rat as a pet a few years ago and she lived about 2 1/2 years with no problems up until the end. They have a great selection of animals as well as food and accessories. I always feel welcome and asked if I need help with anything. This place is top tier for reptiles!

Honestly the worst customer service I have ever dealt with. There are plenty of other pet shops in Utah that actually value their customers.

Customer service could improve. Some employees aren't customer service oriented and don't know how to speak with customers respectfully.

They are so great. I love taking my dog there because I know he'll be in good hands, and they…read morealways do their best to cut his hair the way I want it. Their prices are very reasonable for a full trim, bath, nails, and everything else, plus I usually grab some treats. It was about $80 for my miniature schnauzer. Other places have charged me anywhere from $100 to $150 without question, and places cheaper than DNW have done some pretty poor work on him. Everything is so expensive now, but their prices feel fair and reasonable. I really appreciate them, and so does Doug, my dog.

Our pup was wounded during a trim, some skin snagged with the shears, and though it was superficial, she started bleeding a good bit. They cared for her like she was their own. We were informed about it immediately, the bleeding treated, and she was dressed with some ointment to help stave off infection. The owner told me to call them if she ended up having any more bleeding, needed any veterinary care, or it otherwise became infected. If you have ever tried grooming a dog with clippers, you can understand how easy it might be to accidentally clip something you shouldn't. However, they still held themselves accountable and wanted to take care of us all. We've been back twice since then for grooming. Now I say this -- 10 years we've seen them for haircuts, and only the one minor incident. They are confident experts and guarantee their work.

Hey Pet lovers! I made a late night run to Petco this evening. Also, noticed that these reviews are…read moresuper old. This Petco moved down the street over by Chipotle and Ulta. Anyhow, I came in to get hamster food, dog treats, and one beta. They have a "beta of the month". This one was a male Tangerine Koi. He is handsome and surprisingly respectful to my female beta. I'm gonna keep them two together. I was in and out in 20 mins, Todd helped me at the register. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Todd told me that this beta gets a bit bigger than the other males. The only drawback of my visit was that there was this beautiful cocktail, Sokka, that was singing a lot. I wanted Sokka, and I've never had a birdie as a pet. My point is the quality is great at Petco and the employees aren't dead inside. Big plus! I'll be back!

I waited nicely for her to exit as she did I went to hold the door open to use it but she grabbed the door rudely, shut it and said that the bathrooms are for employees only. A big store like this and not a shared bathroom? Makes zero sense. I hope Karma bites her in her big butt and she's denied the opportunity to use a bathroom. She was beyond rude. The store was out of the one thing we drove there for. I won't be back. Petsmart here I come.
