We came in for Mother's Day with a party of 8 with reservations; we arrived a little early and were sat upstairs almost immediately. It took about 10 minutes for our waiter to come over with water and chips, but did not return for another 20 minutes to take our drink order. When my mother in law paused to remind herself of which appetizers to order, he decided to leave and not return to take the order until he came back with our drinks; I had ordered a frozen margarita which by the time it had reached our table was watered down. We asked our waiter multiple times for more water and chips, but took exceptionally long to arrive. Our appetizers arrived with our meal, and one appetizer came out while our meals were already being eaten which I find to be a little ridiculous. I had asked for my burger without a bun but received my order with a bun; any specification for our meals were either ignored or forgotten. Our waiter announced that the kitchen was cooking items "in order" due to Mother's Day and them being busy, however only one other table was sat after us and all other tables were empty. We also noticed that the more we reminded our server of our requests or forgotten items he became more flustered (e.g. slamming drinks down and only giving one napkin when we asked for more). It took our food over an hour to arrive and we were there for over two hours which would have been okay if the service was better, the food was just okay but filling and offering a succulent for mothers was a nice touch. read more

I came here last night at around 10 pm for a quick bite to eat. I ordered the steak burrito, at first I thought it was small but once I ate it I realized how filling it was!! I was so full after and it was so so delicious. The steak was cooked to perfection and I loved the rice and beans. I asked to be seated upstairs since downstairs was more of a bar scene with loud people and they were accommodating. This restaurant is gorgeous inside as well!! Friendly staff too. Always tells us to order our nachos at just the right time so they are perfectly crisp and the cheese is super melty!! The steak in the quesadillas is so flavorful and my favorite!! I came here for a private event. We were outside in the tent so I don't have too many details about the inside. I know there is a bar and seating area. There is also a large outdoor seating area. Right now it is decorated for Halloween. The service was good. All of the good was very good but not everything was from their normal menu because it was an event. My boyfriend and I visited Burrito Bar on the island for our second time, but this time we went on a Saturday evening. The restaurant was pretty busy and lively, and we chose to sit upstairs. We were greeted with complimentary chips and salsa and for appetizers, we ordered the mini chimis and we both got quesadillas for our entree. I chose the spinach and mushroom quesadilla and he got the buffalo chicken quesadilla. The quesadillas were nicely presented on our respective plates with three dips and a small side salad. The guac was very refreshing and to be honest, the best part of our meal. Although I am a mushroom lover, I found my quesadilla to be quite bland and I struggled to finish it all. My boyfriend had the same sentiments about his buffalo chicken quesadilla. Our mini chimis weren't that bad, but our overall experience at Burrito Bar was a bit disappointing. read more

Came here yesterday. It started to rain, but we sat outside under a large tent and the proprietors couldn't have been more accommodating. They sat our two parties of 14 and 8 people. I enjoy a romantic brunch or early dinner date with the Mr. here and we also visit with the full family. The drinks are good, huge selection. Some of my favorite foods are the wings, nice and crispy, they never disappoint. And also "fire" bacon wrapped shrimp. The fajitas and all the fishes are great. And finish the meal off with a Mexican coffee. I'd have to say this place both when indoors was a thing, and their outside yard is a comfortable casual environment. 2 stars for their stiff drinks. Last summer was our last trip to Burrito Bar. It was obvious they changed the cook or recipes or both but the quality/taste of everything we ordered went down the crapper. Ambiance is nice outside in the nice whether, dingy inside. Service is lacking in common sense as far as what should be on the table with your food not later I.e. forks knives spoons ketchup... I attended The Burrito Bar yesterday with some coworkers for lunch and I really enjoyed myself. My server was Danny. He was very friendly, professional, and accommodating. He even took a picture of us when we asked which was nice. I enjoyed my food I ordered something I've never had or heard of having before which was the barbecue chicken and apple quesadilla. I also had a side of yellow rice and black beans. It looked a little dry but was actually good and flavorful. I liked that the prices were reasonable. Yes I will be back again! I have to say this place has the worst service of any restaurant I've been to. I have a few terrible stories. One time they served us fries without ketchup and we had to wait like 20 minutes for ketchup and ice cream without a spoon and by the time they got us it, the ice cream melted. After several years of not eating here things have changed while other things remain the same. The quality of the food is not the same. My friend and I was seated at the bar, and we weren't really feeling the energy from the bartender, can't really call it but it seems as if we were a bother to him, almost as if he had an attitude. It seems to be a mix crowd. Mixture of after work crowed and then you have the losers who do not know how to handle their alcohol. I ordered buffalo wings, when they arrived they barely had any buffalo sauce on them... what kinda madness is that? The frozen drinks are great if I come back here it would be just to get drinks and go because while we were there a fight broke out between a guy in the girl he was with The guy then turned on one of the workers of the establishment. The chicken mini chimis were to die for! They came in a cute tostada basket filled with guac and sour cream and they were literal perfection! So flavorful! Just came back from being seated outdoors; we've been here plenty of times before. As soon as we sit we are told the following:"you have an hour and a 45 minutes to eat and then you have to leave." REALLY! I go out to be served food food in a good atmosphere and enjoy myself; not look at my watch while I'm spending my money. I call over the manager to let her know my thoughts about what we were told (or rather how it was said) and she barely let me get a word out while trying to explain and defend what we were told. Managers should have listening skills. I wanted nothing else but to be heard They make awesome frozen margaritas!!' Second to none. They also make this appetizer called Fire which I could eat everyday. OMG so good. 5 shrimp and cheese stuffed jalapeños wrapped in bacon and then fire roasted. Taco salad with ground beef- the edible taco bowl was sitting in refried beans so the whole thing got super mushy on the bottom. Nachos with chicken were good; all the chicken was on the bottom. Queso Fundido is a large portion of a cheesy bean dip for a very reasonable price.
