ambiance is good...just wish the food service and drinks were the same.... we ordered a sandwich "The Hackshaw" the menu said it had chicken cutlets grilled or fried, bacon, mozzarella cheese and buffalo sauce but when we got it there was chicken tenders on it one piece of bacon on half of the the sandwich... i asked for a side of cheese fries with cheddar cheese and got fries with cheese sauce on it, the waitress offered the correct fries but those came after another 20 minutes we finished our sandwiches at that point not to mention they advertise "homemade sangria" yeah i beg to differ i only saw an orange slice in it and it tasted straight out the bottle. so again energy is great, cool place to drink at the bar with young kids and go home. the quality has definitely gone down to a 1 star rating but because i like the music i will give it 2 stars

My back was away from the traffic...cute decor next to our table!

Omg my lunch was bomb!!!!!! My homegirl suggested we go to Kettle for lunch, so happy she did. Love the outdoor seating arrangement. Service was speedy, Mike (server) was amazing, and the menu isn't too large but full of so many enticing things that it took us a minute to hunker down and order. I went with the Gringo burger, no bun, swapped out my friends for a side ceased salad. Wow! Everything was so fresh and well seasoned. I demolished my lunch, right down to the coleslaw lol. My friend had the steak skillet that came with fries, another yes! We were so pleased, really cannot wait to return.

I've been ordering from this place since they opened. Unfortunately I have not stayed to eat at the kettle, but my order always comes perfect. KB is always packed with nice peoplzzzzz. Just try it out.

I ordered this evening and received it over 2 hours later and the food was ice cold. Shame on you kettle black! You shouldn't have accepted an order for delivery if you couldn't deliver my food Hot and in a timely manner, I would have picked it up. A manager reached out to me and asked where I Ordered through as he wanted to make it up to me, then stated there was nothing he could do yet asked me to change my review and rating anyway. I ordered DIRECTLY through Kettle Black's website, which uses GrubHub. If you guys had issues with them then why would you have a direct link to them?

Great food love the burger options. Sports events days are the best days for the beers and wings. Drinks options are a variety.

SECOND, the food is just as amazing! I was so happy hahah. It's been a long time since I enjoyed a restaurant for more than just their food. We came here for my boyfriend's parent's anniversary and the server's were wonderful and honestly very thoughtful as well! They were very attentive to our table and refilled our waters often. I also say this because when my bf's parents ordered the halibut to split, they had brought out their meal in two individual plates that were beautifully plated, you would think they ordered separately! They also took our group picture! :) We ordered 2 orders of the Basement Snacks: For Two, 2 orders of their raw oysters for appetizers. For my entree I ordered the Shrimp Carbonara Rossa with a side of Asparagus. Everything was so good. Their buffalo wings were perfectly marinated and not too saucy, their ribs were so tender and the meat fell straight off the bone! My carbonara was also delicious. For dessert they even gave an anniversary treat which was so sweet. I ordered a Chocolate Cappuccino which was also great. 11/10! Wonderful and would recommend.

We had a lovely night out with a couple who are our long time and good friends and we looked forward to this evening! However, there was a problem at the beginning of the evening that is unacceptable... my husband went to park the car, our friends were waiting at the bar for us, I walked in first. My friend ordered me an Aperol Spritz and my husband a diet coke. My husband does not drink and has been very successful with his sobriety for many years. The bartender, (I later found out her name is Maureen and apparently she is a manager there), misunderstood the drink order so my friend reiterated that we wanted a diet coke and an Aperol Spritz (two separate drinks). The "diet coke" arrived in a soda glass with a lemon wedge (just like a diet coke would) and the Aperol Spritz arrived in a cocktail glass. My husband took a sip of the "diet coke" and asked me if it tasted like there was liquor in it. Sure enough there was. We immediately returned it and the other bartender confirmed that it was a mix of Aperol Spritz with diet coke in the soda glass. My husband confronted the bartender and told her about her grievous mistaken and full disclosure, he said this is a "big f$%ken mistake you made". She took absolutely no responsibility for her error and shouted at him that she "was told to make a diet coke with Aperol Spritz". Truth be told, we clarified the drink order to her and why would she present the "diet coke" in a soda glass if it indeed was a cocktail. She went full "Karen mode" on him when she should have apologized. My request is that she re-trains in customer service and her ability to mix drinks! Like I said above, the food was excellent, the waiter was great, but this error is a serious error. People do make mistakes, but please acknowledge your mistakes and take care with serious issues. The dining experience was great, but I cannot give a 5 star due to the error.

My experience with this restaurant was a 10/10 from the moment I called to place the order. The women who took my order was very kind and helped me determine exactly how much food I needed for my party size. The food was ready upon pickup and the same woman carried my order and put it into my car because my son had fallen asleep in the car on the way over. She refused to let me carry anything, seeing that I was pregnant. She even took my credit card inside the restaurant and came back out with all the papers so that I would not have to leave my car. In addition to the amazing service, the food was OUTSTANDING. Every guest at my party, including myself, was so impressed by the quality and flavor of everything we ordered (smoked chicken, corn bread, pulled pork, potatoes with bacon). This restaurant is about 30 minutes from my home and required pick up, but I would order again in a heartbeat. I have never in my life left a review for anything, but I felt the need to write this one based on my extraordinary experience. Thank you for a wonderful experience!

We ordered the Forest Ave roast beef sandwich and the fried shrimp appetizer with bang bang sauce. The shrimp had a nice crunch, and the bang bang sauce was good, but its flavor was a bit mild and plain; some garnish like chives can definitely elevate this appetizer further! Our sandwich unfortunately came without the bacon jam and maple bourbon, which meant it was just roast beef double dunked with Gruyère cheese. Unfortunately we didn't realize it until near the end, and although our waitress apologized and brought us a side of the bacon jam, by then we only had a quarter of it left which was a bummer. The roast beef was perfectly cooked and the gravy was rich and deliciously beefy, but the extra Au jus was a bit pricy for how little it was, where it came in the same small plastic sauce container instead of a small bowl/ceramic. I'm sure this doesn't happen often that half the sandwich ingredients were left out, so I guess we were just unlucky we didn't realize sooner, but it nonetheless detracted from our experience and we were charged the full price for the meal. Overall The Point Tavern has a lot of potential of being amazing and serve probably the best roast beef in all of Staten Island; I really wish them the best with their varied roast beef selections! Please give them a try and just check your sandwich before digging into it! Thank you for reading and best of luck! (:

What's the secret at the Point Tavern in Staten Island? They keep things simple! This review is based on my visit this past Saturday Evening - 21 June 2025. Bartender Mike is a true Mensch, if that's even possible, in a place like Staten Island, but he was truly a gem and kept the drinks flowing. This is truly a neighborhood watering hole that is frequented by many, including some friendly and beautiful teachers from the local school across the way. You are struck with an immediate vibe of friendliness and happiness, and visitors to the Point Tavern are truly treated like family. My great friend, "Uncle Anthony," and I enjoyed ourselves sitting and relaxing at the bar. There was a wide selection of draft beers on tap, and the mixed drinks were delicious. Confession: I made the "Shlep" to investigate this "Suspicious" Roast Beef Sandwich. My suspicions were confirmed--amazing, Juicy, Tender, and savory. Sandwiches are made to order and tailored to the customer's likely preferences. The kitchen got it right on the first shot and got me my "Kosher" Roast Beef Sandwich. Trust me, its worth the visit. Tasty & Fresh Burgers, But Wish They Were Bigger for the Price!…read more I've ordered from Supreme Burger Company a few times now, and I find myself going back because they get the core product right: the burger itself is genuinely good. If you prioritize fresh ingredients and solid taste, this place is worth checking out, and overall, I do recommend giving them a try. The quality of the burger patty is noticeable. You can tell they use fresh beef, and it's consistently cooked well, resulting in a tasty and satisfying flavor. There's a definite freshness to the whole thing that I appreciate, which isn't always the case with burger joints. It tastes like they care about the main component of their offering. However, my main point of feedback, and the reason I hesitate slightly in giving a full-throated recommendation, comes down to the portion size relative to the price. While the flavor is there, the burgers themselves feel consistently on the smaller side for what they cost. I've found myself wishing for a more substantial burger patty or just a slightly larger overall build each time I order. (For reference, check out the pictures I've added/check out pictures others may have posted to see the scale). It's that feeling of "This is delicious, but I wish there was just a bit more of it" for the money spent. As for the sides, the fries I had were okay. They did the job as a companion to the burger, but they weren't particularly memorable or standout. Competent, but not necessarily a reason in themselves to order. So, it's a bit of a trade-off. Supreme Burger Company delivers on a fresh, genuinely tasty burger experience, which is why I've been a repeat customer. I do like the food. But I sincerely hope they might consider adjusting the burger portion size to better align with the price point in the future. If the burgers were just a bit bigger, this place could easily jump from "good" to "great" in my book. For now, go for the quality taste, but manage your expectations regarding the size.
