This is my ABQ Beer Passport for Tractor Westside. I've been avoiding Tractor due to a friend's opinion that stems from the very first brew master being a significant tool. What a mistake. We visited right at opening (1pm) on a Wednesday to have the taproom to ourselves for the first hour. Our bartender Isabelle was very patient with us and extremely knowledgeable about their beers. She has a bad ass car and rides motorcycles, so the conversation was fun for sure and her service was awesome! Definitely someone I'd want running my business in my absence. We sampled a few of their beers with us enjoying a majority of them. My buddy was gaga over their IPAs (which I'll never understand) and I enjoyed their darker offerings. Was bummed they didn't have any ales or stouts other than their milk stout (lactose), especially for "stout month". But, their Turkey Drool more than made up for it (took a growler home)! [[HIGHLIGHT]]The taproom is bright and inviting, dog friendly, plenty of parking (except the front spots coned off for an invisible food truck) and the patio has great views of the Sandias.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] I had to pace myself as most of the beers were 5%+. I enjoyed it so much I will return soon to try more of their beer. In addition to the beer, they have a good selection of ciders and cocktails for those that don't imbibe barley sodas. Drinks were good but the service was slow even though the place was basically empty. [[HIGHLIGHT]]The ambiance is not great few homeless people stay around this this place now[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]]. Would not recommend unless you have to settle for this place for a drink. read more

Service was good and prompt. Their beer options are interesting but not really to my taste. I've had Tractors Beers in Nob Hill and I felt I enjoyed the options there much more. Great location and good beer options. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They don' t rush you and you can sit and enjoy your drinks.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] They allow outside food. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's a good atmosphere but service is lacking.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The place has been pretty empty but the wait staff has not been attentive. We've had to go up to the bar every time to get refills even though the wait staff is just behind the bar chatting to themselves. [[HIGHLIGHT]]It's dog friendly.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] [[HIGHLIGHT]]I would call it kids friendly, but the music is not.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] It's also annoying that their gift card machine never works. read more

So I had recently went to Flix Brewhouse and I had noticed they had Tractor Brewing Blood Orange Cider, so after trying it I thought it was the absolute best. I had then decided to go to the actual place where they sell it at Tractor Brewing Company, so I entered and once I walked in no one said hello or welcome I then continue to sit down waited for at least twenty minutes and no one took my order. Overall I was very disappointed I thought this place was going to be great, but that was my first and last time. read more

One of my favorite haunts! What people don't realize is that Tractor is one of the only Microbreweries, on the Westside, that offers custom cocktails as well as mocktails!!! They have a rotating beer menu, along with the standards, that the staff are always happy to help introduce new customers to. The patrons are always friendly and you can grab grub from Slice and Dice next door if you and your crew are hungry! The patio has an awesome fireplace, for when it gets chilly, and there is plenty of space to have a large get together. If you are on your own and just want to meet someone new, sit at the bar and give it 5 minutes, you are sure to make a friend! Overall, worth a stop in!!! Been awhile since my last visit. Great having along Yelp elite group, doing our part sharing our experiences. Cold beers, Specialty Liquors, climate control indoor areas with a decent size patio, variety of daily specials, Live music on Saturday. Parking could be an issue during peak days and hours, still a better alternative than crossing the River to those other places. read more

Another day in Albuquerque, some more great beer. We stopped in for beers after a nice walk at the petroglyphs and found a very helpful server with some very good beer. I had the red. It was well balanced and perfect to cool off after a warm walk. My wife had the stout. It was exactly what you want in a very good stout, not too coffee but not sweet or hoppy. The dog friendly patio was nice on a warm but windy day. There were several well-behaved dogs and lots of dog friendly people. Our barkeep kept us supplied with delicious beer and friendly service. The only downside is the noisy carwash across the street. They were very busy and the noise from the dryers was annoying. But that's not Tractor's fault. A great place with great beer and great service. If we lived here, we'd be there often. read more

What a find! (if you can find it...there isn't yet a sign for Tractor on the list of businesses at the street entrance...trust, though. It is there.) I don't totally recall how I found out about Tractor Brewing. Perhaps a location search for breweries close to where I was....my parents' house. This location thing was important because we wanted to EARN our beers by getting a walk in either nearby or on the way. And technically, this taproom was within walking distance of my parents' place! In fact, it was close enough, and the weather decent enough, that we walked both there AND back! (about 3.5 miles each way). When we walked in, we sat ourselves at the bar and told the bartender we were interested in a couple flights. She brought us some paper and pens and we got to deciding! The main draw for our visit to Tractor was that they ALSO have ciders! About an equal number to the amount of beers they have! Yaaaay! Flights get your four options. And they are priced by what you try. Beer only (cheapest), cider only (most expensive), and a mix of the two. Only separated by a couple bucks, but still important to know. My sister opted for the All-Cider option, and I got a mix because there were a couple beers I was interested in trying. I got the Silence of the Yams, Beer-a-rita, Rose cider, and Berry cider. The beer-a-rita was probably my favorite of the four, followed by the berry cider. I also really liked the thai basil mint cider that my sister got, but she didn't like so much. The bartenders were friendly and we greatly enjoyed our visit here. I would gladly return the next time I visit my parents in ABQ! read more

This was a typical Friday night where my friends and family go to tractor brewery on the westside to enjoy happy Hour. I have been doing this for nearly three years, we arrive at 1630 and leave around 2100, but today (November 11, 2022) was a little different. It was Veterans Day and all our military friends gathered to enjoy some good times, but that was nearly impossible due to the DJ (DJ Fishbowl, he plays every Friday night). You couldn't have any sort of conversation without yelling to one another. We asked the DJ several times to turn down the music but to no avail. He would state to us "Yes, I have been asked to turn down the music and I have", but nothing ever happened or the volume going down. One time, I went and asked the DJ personally to turn the music down and he turned it down while I talked with him, but as soon as walked away (and I watched) he turned it right back up. It is one thing when you are sitting behind the speakers with head phones on, and sitting in front of the speakers, it is 10x louder. My apple watched even alerted me (I took an age of the alert) that I have been sitting in environment for 30 minutes or more of over 90 decibels (on my iPhone it stated the loudest was 98 decibels). I have already lost 30% of my hearing and i even thought it was way too loud. This is one thing if it is a concert (which average 100 to 120 decibels), but this is a brewery. There is no place for sound to escape. You have a mixed crowd in the brewery, both young and old, so the DJ should have respect of all ages. I may be in the older portion and I love my music, and I go to concerts, but when in a confined area you need to take into account the facility. To me this DJ has no respect or consideration for the crowd within the brewery. All he cares about is himself. Maybe, if people were dancing to his music I might understand some louder music, but not a sole was dancing to his music and people sitting close to the DJ area kept leaving and they stated to us, it is impossible to talk or think. I asked several staff members to request the music be lowered, but the DJ never lower his music, or maybe the Staff didn't care (not sure which one). I seen the DJ at one time with his arm around one of the staff members and the staff member pointed towards us as they were walking and talking. Were they talking about me and my party or was it an illusion, only they will know the truth. My buddy and wife asked for a beer and they told them that they were at their limit, but they had only two beers (my wife was drinking Milk Mustachio and my buddy was drinking blood orange). I think it was to get rid of us and stop complaining about the music. One of my friends had to leave early because it was so loud that she was getting a migraine headache, and several of us decided that it was impossible to hold a conversation without yelling that we decided to leave and go to Marble. We even talked with one staff member at the table (Don't know her name but she is a short young lady with semi long brown hair, cut up Tractor T-shirt with her sports bra showing) and she stated "We have asked him to lower the music, but he doesn't work for us". This young lady was rude and disrespectful as we told her that the DJ works for Tractor Brewery, so he should listen to your request. Each year, we all purchase a membership to the COOP, and if this is how we are going to be treated by the Tractor staff and DJ then maybe it is time to find a better location (i.e., Marble Westside, Boxing Bear, Bosque Brewery, Ex Novo, etc.) there are other locations within the westside area to go spend my time and money. Personally, I can't wait for this review to read as dated. Written back when That Virus Thing happened. No longer relevant. Because that'll occur someday, hopefully someday soon, and when that's the case, you'll read this quote from Tractor's social feed and realize, yeah, this company is a true New Mexico gem: "We're pitching in by providing Presbyterian Hospital Downtown with 7,000 gallons of hand sanitizer made with Broken Trail Brewery & Distillery in our brewing/distilling facilities. Thank you to all our healthcare professionals for putting their lives on the line. New Mexico, please continue to stay home, stay safe and drink local craft beer." Time to throw another dollar at your beertender. Concerning the venue itself, I'm still remembering our evening at this place, right before we had to run and hide at home. Seating is modern comfortable, ambiance open and twinkly when the sun's setting, and the beer's good, cider's great. Stopped in at "Tractor Brewery" the local brewery for an adult libation after walking the trails looking at Petroglyphs at Pierdras Marcadas. I had a Mexican pilsner which was cool, crisp, and light. My man had a pale ale, old skool style, bittery at first, finishing with a nice, hoppy taste. Atmosphere was nice, service was great. No food ordered. Will return again. read more

Came in for a Yelp Elite event. This was our first visit to this location. Light and bright, plenty of seating and good service. Great choice of cocktails, cider and beer. Food is available next door at Slice and Dice. There was also a taco food truck outside during our visit. The Cucumber Fresca was great. Not too sweet, a little spice at the back end and served in a nice coupe glass. Thank you. We will be back when we are in the area. read more

Get Plowed! Hahaha I dig the slogan. The Hay Maker Honey Wheat is smooth and the first sip is...oh so refreshing! They mix the Berry Cider and Honey Wheat to make a fruity sweet mix they call "Honey Bear", I like this mix in the spring and summer. My husband is an IPA guy and enjoys the Acreage IPA They have a great selection of beers and ciders. The patio is nice on a warm day. They don't serve food but sometimes they have a food truck out front, if not there is a pizza place next door, you can bring your own food or have take-out delivered. Dogs are welcome on the patio. read more

First time here at this place. I visited on a Friday night. Supporting local businesses during these uncertain times. It was a little hard to find parking since it is in a busy area. Especially also since there was construction going on across the parking lot. They had a good selection of beers and the service was great. They offer indoor and outdoor seating. They have multiple food trucks that visit everyday. The night I visited, they had this gourmet doner kebab truck. It was good stuff. The beer I just tried was the Godzilla IPA. Tasty yet subtle. Just a side note, don't be surprised if there is an added 20% gratuity on top of your tab. It's to support the staff that work there. read more

I came out here to listen to Eryn Bent play music. I have never been to this location I've tractor brewing before. It's a lot better than the other location on 4th Street. I personally do not like the warehouse feeling at the Fourth Street but this location is very nice. Nate 66 grill is located here on Thursday night from 4 to 9PM, and Saturdays 1 to 9 p.m. I ordered their green chile cheeseburger for $9 and $2 more for French fries with the burger. The green chili on the burger was awesome and the burger was really moist. read more

Nice place to sit and relax. They have something going on almost every night and family friendly, plus dog friendly. I know that is not for everyone, but works for us. The staff can get busy but always try their best! They have beer and cocktails, or you can just get an Italian soda. We get the food truck or slice n dice Nextdoor, who will deliver. read more

Stopped by to on a nice warm Saturday for a nice cold beer. Enjoyed the haymaker honey wheat beer, blood orange beer and my honey had a dappy haze. We enjoyed them and the comfortable atmosphere. The service was nice and friendly. This was a great local place for great Albuquerque beer. They do have food trucks on a rotating basis so you can pair your beer with something new every day. read more

Not sure how my originally review got removed (most likely my mistake.) I do maintain that this is one of, if not my overall, favorite brewery/tap house to visit in the city. The service is always great, the beer AND ciders are always abundant and delicious. They are also one of the most dog friendly breweries in that dogs are allowed inside and on the large patio. The best days to go are Wednesdays as Franky's 505 taco tuck is there. Don't miss out on the best tacos around!! Overall I can't recommend Tractor Westside enough the only downside to me is how far a drive it is for me. read more

Sooooo happy Marble has some competition now!! Loved the new location, super industrial inside, clean (hopefully it stays that way) lots of space, indoor and outdoor seating. The wait staff was friendly, non pretentious (can't say that for Marble at all [rolling eye emoji]) and the beer..... soooooo good!! Not a huge list, but what they do have is very delish. Now, I'm not really a beer drinkers beer drinker (can I say that?) So I cant comment on the IPA's for the true beer drinkers, but as a person who has only recently been enjoying beer, everything I had was delicious. I absolutely loved their sour - I've been looking for a similar flavor since a sour I had in an Arizona brewery and now i think I found it!! The food truck that was there the night we were there was the Urban hotdog company (is that the name??) so delicious, I had TWO of the bratwurst B&B dogs and the truffle fries are to die for! I'm excited to see what more they will bring and to have a new place to hang on the west side read more

Amazing place with amazing beer and cider. The nitro stout is amazing. Also they finally have their Thai mint basil cider and that's the best thing since sliced bread. It feels like you could do yoga while drinking it- it's so light and refreshing! I wish they had it year round and not just as a seasonal cider. Never had rude service. Everyone is real sweet and amazing. read more

I've been wanting to come here from months now and let me say it was worth the wait!!! The New Mexico Lager is amazing and the fact that they have food trucks outside with great food is great (ShoutOut To Franky's burgers 505 for his street tacos). But if you are looking for a great beer this is it and the service is 5 stars in itself! We will now be customers for a long time! read more

Tractor Brewing Company was founded in 1999 with the vision of making craft beer approachable and inspiring a love of craft beverages in everyone we encountered. Today the brewery produces a core offering of easy-drinking, accessible beers and ciders including Almanac IPA, Farmer's Tan Red Ale, Milk Mustachio Stout and Delicious Red Hard Apple Cider. I got the "Dos Arrows," "Wildly No. 1," "Bury My Heart," and "Lav Letters to the SW." I listed them in order of my favorites. Each beverage was complex, unique, and delicious! I would have enjoyed a full pint of each drink! Alas, 4 5oz beverages was enough! Prices are reasonable for such high quality beverages! We also loved that the brewery recognizes Indigenous land rights and supports Native American initiatives. Euro-Americans have much to learn from Native peoples, the original stewards of this land. Great Vibes, Live Music, and Plenty of Beer…read more Had an awesome night at High and Dry Brewing in Albuquerque! The place was packed thanks to the live music, but we still managed to find a spot to sit and enjoy the scene--which was honestly impressive. It had that lively, local energy without feeling overwhelming. The bands were playing, the crowd was into it, and the beer was flowing. Solid selection of local brews with something for every taste--whether you're into hoppy IPAs or something more mellow. Everyone was friendly, and the staff kept things moving even with a full house. Street parking was available nearby (big win in Albuquerque on a busy night), so getting in and out was easy. If you're looking for a spot with good beer, chill vibes, and live music that draws a fun crowd, High and Dry delivers. Definitely coming back for another night like this.

A Railrunner train passed by on its way to Santa Fe, clanging as it pulled out of the Albuquerque station, and it added to my enjoyment.

We couldn't secure a table on our actual anniversary, but managed to get one a couple of nights later, and it was well worth the wait. From the outside, Antiquity is understated. Step inside, however, and you're immediately welcomed into a warm, intimate atmosphere that feels like a hidden gem tucked away in Old Town Albuquerque. Owner Steve, who has been running the restaurant for nearly three decades, greeted us personally. His passion for hospitality was evident from the moment we arrived. While we waited briefly for our table, he took time to learn about us, ask what types of food we enjoy, and offer thoughtful menu recommendations. The restaurant itself is charming and authentic, with an old-world steakhouse feel that perfectly complements the historic New Mexico setting. Many of the tables and booths are arranged to create private, intimate dining spaces, making it an ideal choice for special occasions. We were touched when Steve seated us at what he called the "anniversary table," complete with a small scattering of heart confetti, despite our celebration having technically passed. Service throughout the evening was exceptional. Rather than relying on a single server, the entire staff worked seamlessly together. Water glasses were never less than half full, empty plates disappeared almost instantly, and every member of the team seemed genuinely invested in ensuring guests had a memorable experience. Even the kitchen staff engaged warmly with diners, adding to the welcoming atmosphere. As for the food, it exceeded every expectation. We started with oysters on the half shell, which my husband thoroughly enjoyed. I upgraded to the special salad, a beautiful combination of greens, apples, strawberries, mandarin oranges, walnuts, bacon, and a creamy mini brie, all brought together with a delicious pear vinaigrette. For our entrée, we chose the Châteaubriand for two. It was expertly prepared, carved tableside, and cooked perfectly.
