She was NOT my groomer this time. I went here for a while and it seems like the groomer was "dog shaming" me. She would tell me how matted my dog was and give her terrible haircuts claiming that she had to. She also said my dog was mean and needed a muzzle. I took them to PetSmart last weekend and they raved about how good she was and that it must have been the old groomer's bad energy that made her like that! As a fish owner for 15+ years of both fresh water & tropical fish I am disgusted in this company for their lack of care when hiring and training employees. I experienced a snotty girl (Abby) who couldn't have been over 17 years old, refuse to sell me goldfish because she didn't like that I was "buying a couple of THEIR cheap plastic fish bowls" demanding sternly "that's not how you care for fish"! Mind you she knew nothing about me, our "fish" situation and didn't bother to ask ANY questions. It didn't matter that I explained to her I had 25+ gallon tanks at home waiting and I knew very well how to care for them. Not to mention an equally as ill trained manager that can't make eye contact or most shameful; corporate headquarters that promised a phone call three times over in the last 6 months but doesn't follow through. I have not seen this many feathered friends in quite awhile. I have grown up always having a parrot or being around them. They had an African Grey which was pretty shy and timid but its cage was lower so i'm sure it didnt like that. Also a Macaw which was friendly and wante attention without any lunging towards you. Quite a few conures of a different few types being friendly and inquisitive as usual. The budgies were super friendly and would join in whistling with you. There were even a couple of (what looked like) Yellow Headed Amazon parrots but they were pretty shy so they might had been young but looked in very good health. Other things of note would be some spikey boi hedgehogs and even a chinchila.

I figured I'd try again, this time 6 weeks later..no lapse in time, we were early coming in for the visit so we had to come back in 20 min big inconvenience, we did and then they weren't ready for the appointment, the groomer seemed frustrated and my dogs must've felt it cause they wouldn't go with her, never been a problem when going to the groomers, I asked her if this was a good time if not we could rebook. She went on to say she's been having a rough day, but it was ok. I left them said she's call when they were ready we'll I dropped them off at 2:30 and it was now 6 so I went over there the clerk said she was having issues because of how the day was going and could I come back in 40 minutes which was closing time. I sadi ok. When I came back in was 5 min to close and my animals weren't ready yet. They brought out 2 dogs which had on the wrong harnest, I waited another 15 mins for them to bring out my other dogs, they were ready to go and it was closing time. So I left, I live in apartments very close, 5 mins maybe. When I walked in my apartment my dog i waited for the longest was limping and there was blood drops everywhere on the floor and furniture. I picked her up to see where it was coming from, it was her toe, half of her toe was clipped and bleeding, this has never happened to any of my animals. I called back over to see what happened and why they hadn't made me aware? The clerk proceeded to argue with me and everything short of calling me a liar. Then said it happened because my dogs toenails were too long, they just groomed her 6 weeks prior no long lapse in grooming. All along while I waited for them they had to try to get the bleeding under control before giving her to me. She then proceeded to tell me I can come back over and buy some medication for the bleeding they caused! I asked when the owner would be in, she proceeded to say the owner only comes in for 15 30 maybe an hour at a time and staff never knows she can try to pass a message. I will be filing a small claims case for emotional distress and return of funds for the service and vet bills. Please DO NOT TAKE YOUR ANIMALS HERE​

No matter who does it. He's had issues at other groomers where I was told he thrashes around so much they were worried he'd hurt himself. He was practically ungroomable. Which is about the worst thing a sheepdog/poodle mix can be. Until I called Pets Earth. Taylor and Marnie are just about the two most kind, caring people I've ever met. I called with just general questions, trying desperately to find some relief for my poor boy. I was planning to take him to a vet and have him sedated to get shaved. It seemed like the only option. Who would be willing to work with a so often turned-away dog? Taylor convinced me "bring him in. We'll take a look and come up with a game plan." I went in fully expecting to hear "no way." Until they said the magic words "he's totally groomable" I wanted to cry. No one's believed in this dog, and here are two people who just spent 30 minutes of their time making sure he feels as comfortable as possible, willing to put in the work for him. They got him in, right then and there. As cheesy as it sounds, these women have performed a Christmas miracle, and I can genuinely say from the bottom of my heart I couldn't be more thankful.
