What we did wrong was not having a vet nearby the cattery to have the kittens examined right away. We had to wait for several days for them to get into our vet and when they were examined, we found out that they had worms, parasites and one had a heart murmur. Our vet was quite concerned with their lack of socialization. They had obviously not been handled enough and were often resistant to touch when we first got them. This was very different than our experience with previous kittens who were also bengals and very affectionate. They are also considerably smaller than expected making us question how long they had been struggling with their health. Buyer beware!!
