There is a Woman...that works there, as long as I have been giving them my business. She is Nasty, Angry, Rude and you have to purchase from her at the register when checking out, and greet her Nasty personality when you enter . I love all the kids that work there and the orange cat. I love the fact that the orange kitty sits in the bin with baby chickens.! I purchase everything from there. I depend on this Strutty's location for my horse products, my feed, my hay, my Pelleted bedding for my horse stall. I purchased halters from there and tiedowns, and all sorts of random stuff. I just like to be in there and buy new things. I returned a halter today, and she stomped out of nowhere up from behind me, and accused me of returning two halters, and that , this was a serious problem. She was the person that I returned the first halter too. The rope halter was so damn big it only fit a Clydesdale and she couldn't remember that. Even though we had a five minute conversation about it before I returned it. I returned another halter today because it stretched out instantly, and the knots were not balanced on my ex race horse and made him go crazy. He has a sensitive nose from chain halters. She was so nasty and accused me of returning a second halter. The woman is Vile, Angry, and clearly has a lot of problems. I am not one of them. The rest of the staff is amazing. But I will never go back to that Struttys ever again, because I will never support her paycheck. She should be fired. read more

I love supporting local businesses and Strutty's is worth the short 10 mile drive to Spring Branch. The down home Hill Country hospitality is felt as soon as you walk in. A pudgy orange house cat named Dudley was welcoming folks at the door. I saw another long and lean black cat wandering the aisles too. I came for a few treats and a harness for my new pup. I was pleasantly surprised at how competitive their prices are compared to Petco or PetSmart. With a large selection of treats it was difficult to it narrow down but one of the staff helped me choose a few items. Just for giggles I bought a .85 cent chicken foot for my 8lb pup (he devoured it!). I was able to find the perfect harness and at almost $10 less than the big box stores. Strutty's has been one of our greatest finds since moving out here in the Blanco County area. They are super friendly, helpful, polite, and knowledgeable. Both our rescue dogs have sensitive tummies and Jenna recommended we switch them from Wellness dry to the Blue Buffalo... best decision ever! The dogs are excited to eat their food and neither are as "gassy" as they used to be, especially our Basset. We are also able to special order the cat food we need and get pet treats and anything else critter related there. The prices are reasonable and we love supporting local. i have been going to struttys for 6 years and never had a bad experience everyone is professional and knowledgeable about their products ,especially kathy shes the best . my only disappointment is in they dont carry enough products and their website is terrible to locate a product , very minimal and sloppy done. regardless of the reasons that their prices change its not up to par with todays world. very clean fast and always the boys carry your purchase to the car , this store has always gone out of its way by its employees to make the customer happy . great store . read more

I always come up there for hay..hay is good quality but the the square bales sucks and when ordering a rounds it does. Not get delivered till the next afternoon...only thing is the guy blonde tiny with the cap was very rude to me today I did not appreciate that at all I'm having 2nd thoughts of even coming back to this feed store. read more
