Let me start by saying - I HATE schlepping the 50 lb. bag of dry dog food from the store to the…read morecar, from the car to the house and then filling the bin... Hate Hate Hate it! While Hate may be a strong word... some days my back is just not ready to do that kind of heavy lifting. I found these guys at the Mighty Texas Dog walk a year ago. They were handing out generous samples and promoting their natural dog food. I brought the samples home and the dogs gobbled it up. The product boasts whole meats, no by-products, made in the USA and best of all - FREE delivery. Not only do they deliver, they fill your dog food bin and haul off the empty bags. Dog food already in the bin, they rotate it to the top after they have filled with the new food. Now that is what I call service. They even gave me a complimentary food scoop and sample treats on their first visit. They take cash, checks and credit cards. If you are not home, just leave the bin at the door and they will fill it for you. They get to know your usage and call you when you might be running low to re-order, or you can call or order on-line. A 50lb. bag of Lamb and Rice is $50.50 a bag... much better price per lb. than those healthy store options. My dogs love it. I feel better giving them natural options. AND - I have my own personal delivery guy making my life all the easier. If you want to sample - call them and they will be happy to deliver a sample when they are in your area. Not into dry food, they also carry canned. They cater to cats and dogs, also carry treats, salmon oil and supplements. Pretty cool one-stop shopping from the comfort of your home.

I explained that it had been about a year since her last grooming and that she had just lost her husky brother -- this would be her first visit to the groomer without him. August was incredibly compassionate and made sure Sierra felt loved and cared for throughout the entire experience. He kept me updated during the day, which I really appreciated. I had my two kids with me during both drop-off and pick-up, and he was so patient and accommodating with all of us. Sierra looked like a brand-new dog when I picked her up. So I used to come here all the time for my feed and chicks, I even liked stopping by just to look…read more But after recently I stopped going for a few reasons. 1) Other than knowing where items are in the store, there is a giant lack of knowledge when it comes to how to care for animals and what you should buy for them to keep them healthy. I don't work here and I know way more about chicks than anyone working there. 2) I get situations where the employees are careless and pushy to get things over with, but this isn't always the case. I do know some individuals that I will go there just to say hi to even though I'm not buying anything. 3) the prices are more that tractor supply due to them being privately owned and their variety for chicks is small. 4) My last straw was when I came in to buy a chick, and what I bought was not at all what they advertised it to be. I bought a blue Cochin pullet to add to my flock of ladies. Months go buy and the chick started looked absolutely nothing like the breed, and it started showing signs of a rooster. It grew up to be a male cross bred chicken that was completely white and it was seriously mean to the point of leaving scratched on my mom. I wasn't offered anything in return for the mixed bread (which it was supposed to be pure bred Cochin). So at this point I just gave him away and never got chicks from them again. You shouldn't be selling cross breeds for the price of pure bred. My assumption is that he was a blue Cochin mixed with a white silkie.

I am shocked at how great a job they did with him in such a quick amount of time! He didn't seem too stressed and also wasn't reeking of cologne. The prices are pretty high, but for the convenience, time and stress saved (for us and our pup), it's well worth it!
