I was looking for a metal ammo box. I checked online first and it looked like they were in stock at this location for a really good price. When I arrived (Sat evening) the woman at the checkout was sweeping and she was very pleasant and greeted me. While I was looking around another employee (who was not near me) greeted me and asked if I needed help. I ended up asking a different employee for assistance because I couldn't find the product. He and the other guy who had greeted me looked around and checked on the computer and after about five minutes couldn't find the product. Then they said it looked like it might have just recently arrived in the shipping area and they would check back there. They came back a couple minutes late with the product! One of the employees then shared with me how he stores his ammo in similar ammo cans using a device to vacuum all the air out to eliminate humidity. The customer service I received on this visit was the best I have received at any retail store in a VERY long time! read more

SHOUT OUT!!!! this is far most one of my favorite stores. I'm new in town. I have a nonprofit Horse rescue. The minute I walked in. They got me set up on my nonprofit status and asked if there is anything they could do to be of service, months and months have gone by always friendly faces and will price match when I need them to without question! y'all don't understand the littlest penny goes a long way when you have a nonprofit Horse rescue... I ordered alfalfa Bermuda pellets and low starch senior feed couple weeks ago had it delivered they were out of my usual stuff. They substituted some similar stuff and I went ahead and tried it! unfortunately, my error was that for one it was too hot to change a horse's feed and it just had too much sugar in it. Long story short my Horse got laminitis she fully foundered on all 4 feet had to rush to the hospital for six days. I went back to tractor supply with a few bags that were unopened and told them what happened and the reason for return They returned all the items so I would be able to get the correct ones. I am blown away thank you so much Nicole the manager thank you so much Tanya the cashier you ladies made my life so much easier you went above and beyond and I am so grateful ...thank you thank you thank you. But yes, I do know how to dance while looking all angsty in an empty barn before going out and play chicken on a tractor to impress the preachers daughter. I am not Brad Paisley. But I have killed my share of roses, although really it was that girls fault anyway. I am not a rancher. But I have been known to put ranch on a salad from time to time. Notwithstanding the above, and in truth being a total city slicker, I have somehow managed to find myself in this TSC on more than one occasion looking for super random, hard to find items. Don't ask me to elaborate unless you want me to really confuse you with eighties movie references, since I am just getting warmed up here and you really have no idea how far I can go. But I digress. Both times I have been in this TSC the employees have been super friendly and knowledgeable about where things are in their store, and polite enough not to raise an eyebrow at my requests as I can see them look me over casually, trying to figure out if I am a serial killer looking or on a scavenger hunt because really what does this guy need with forty pounds of chicken feed, a bottle of lye and a twelve foot length of rubber tubing? So if you aren't a farmer fear not. This place still has plenty of interesting and hard to find objects that you will be drawn too, whether you need them or not! read more

Desperate to find a solution for our hissing propane tank we stopped by tractor supply this morning to see if they could help. Jordan quickly jumped into action and began troubleshooting the problem, after three trips into the store he decided we needed a new hose and fitting. In 100° weather he not only installed and taped the fitting for us, but also did a leak test. The real measure of a business is what they do when there is a problem. I bought a $250 trailer tool box here, and the handle to open it broke. So in addition to needing to replace it, I needed to get all my things out of it that were trapped inside. With the handle broken it could no longer be opened... When I brought it into the store the employees didn't even seem flummoxed. They grabbed some tools and went right to work! I love this place. I noticed there are some negative reviews and the reasons for the negative reviews are just silly. I don't need anyone to talk to me or hold my hand while I shop. I grab what I need and leave. They have always greeted me but I have never felt this is necessary. They always have what I need when I need something weird Walmart doesn't have. He came up to me and asked what I needed, he said they had it in stock and I told him I would wait. He said no problem and that he would take care of me now! Very nice and super helpful. Horrible customer service and management from the Queen Creek Arizona location. I purchased a gun safe on Sunday, April 23 and was told that I could have it delivered the next day, Monday, April 24th. The morning of April 24th arrived, and I received a phone call from the driver stating that he would arrive in about 30 minutes. An hour and a half went by, and he called me again and said the safe WAS NOT IN STOCK. He then offered the floor model, but it had some damage. I said I want 10 percent off for the damage. The manager would not agree to that as he stated he had already given ME a 5% discount (Veterans discount which I am one), so there was NOTHING additional other than for me to suck it and either wait for it to come into stock OR take the safe with scratches, which I agreed to and the manager finally agreed to take $100 off because I wanted it then. If I would have known it was not in stock (as the asst. manager that sold it to me should have stated), I would have gone somewhere else. The delivery driver arrived with a bad attitude and was an ass. I asked for Jordan (store manager) to call, and he never did. STAY AWAY FROM THE QUEEN CREEK, AZ LOCATION unless you want to be deceived and want to receive damaged merchandise by a driver with a bad attitude. Oh, and I had to figure out for myself that I could call CANNON safe, and request touch up paint which I did and have already received. At no time did ANYONE from that store tell me about that. LAZY, INEFFICENT STAFF AND MANAGEMENT that only cares about their bottom line and NOT the customer. NO THANK YOU! ****FOLLOW UP**** It is May 9th and I have made 3 phone calls to corporate. This place is really hit or miss with customer service. We use a kot of propane fornour business, and fill up twice a week. There's a couple people there that totally rock with helping you. Dont waste your time if shelly is manager. She lacks any sense of customer service. Told us WE needed to apologize for her incompetency and then pouted when filling our tank. Im so sorry for bringing you business, but seriously if you feel you need to yell at your customers becuase the concept of proper staffing is beyond you then go find a job as a ditch digger. read more

This place lacks customer service and Leadership I get propane about once a week here. Last times I've attempted to get propane The cashier upfront calls the propane person multiple times I'm waiting out in the sun the temperature exceeding 100°. I have a medical condition I cannot be out in the heat for long periods of time. I've had to make multiple trips back asking is someone getting propane? The other problem is is they don't order more propane or get a delivery unless they are completely out. The lady says I have to go 12 miles away in Arizona Avenue and Chandler Heights. But you can get propane at the Ace Hardware just a couple miles up the road. I think I'm finally done shopping here. read more

On my way home from work I decided to stop by and pick up dog food and all i had was a $100 on me, cashier tells me my bill is too old and they cannot accept it. I remain disappointed in this store. After Pet Club closed this was my potential option but this store NEVER has any of the items I need. I have 8 horses, 6 dogs, 3 goats and a never ending stream of chickens. They don't carry even the basics for the horses such as fly masks in various sizes nor do they maintain a good supply of dog toys. They seldom have bedding pellets in stock and I rarely find the chicken pellets that I might buy there. I tried yesterday to call and see if curbside pick up was any better. I got put on hold for 10 minutes. Thinking I was forgotten I called back and said I would not be put on hold again. The young lady who answered the phone was very rude but said she would get someone to fill this order for pick up. I got put on hold again. For 10 minutes. I called back and spoke to the manager, Casey. I told him even though I live maybe a mile from Tractor Supply I was going to drive to Higley Feed Store that ALWAYS has what I need in stock. In the time they had me on hold I could have driven there and back with all the items that I needed which is exactly what I did. read more
