Very disappointed in the Customer Service here. Don't you love it when you ask a CSR where something is and they point and say: 'over there'? I've learned, that is code for 'I don't know but I'm going to send you over there anyway'. I went 'over there' looking for the product and it wasn't there. I asked another CSR and he said 'if we have it, it's on aisle 10' I've learned that's code for 'I don't know if we have it, but if you go over there and it's not there, then we don't have it'. I get SO TIRED of wasting my time with retailers who have NO customer service. There is not understanding of what service is. Meanwhile Jeff Bezos is getting richer by the second and retailers wonder why they are losing business. Who wants to wonder around a store wasting time, looking for something they don't have? Had my 6ft rooster delivered to this location and it was such an easy pickup (maybe to easy) but they brought it up front (just asked for my last name) and handed me a cart with a giant box filled with one 6ft rooster. They said it was "light" and walked away. Granted it was a woman but so am I, no one offered to help me. Can I give less than one star, please?????? See how many 5-star reviews I give? I am not one to give a one-star unless the business is absolutely terrible. Well, I found a business with the worst customer experience I have encountered in a long while. I specifically went into this tractor supply shop to exchange a large bag of dog food I bought that the dog would not eat. It was the same brand that I use but a different kind that the store talked me into because they were out of the usual kind I get for a relative's dog that I occasionally keep. I bought the bag from a different Tractor supply shop but called around to see who had the kind I needed and they stated that this Rock-Hill store was the one. When I first walked in, the employees looked at me as if I was crazy or doing something wrong. I alerted them that I was returning the bag of food which is within their policy. Not only were the employees rude, but they made a big scene about the return, calling various employees over and then the Manager who questioned me as if I had stolen the bag of food. Mind you, I had the receipt. I was very embarrassed as they made such a big to-do about the return. I was so upset that I called corporate to speak of my encounter. I asked the woman to please swap out the bag for the new one, and instead, she returned it back to my card (purposely) which then takes 5-7 days to go back into my account and I had to purchase a new $60 + bag of food. My usual Tractor Supply store is amazing. What rock are these employees under? I see why you have gotten such a low rating. Run....... go elsewhere if you need pet supplies or yard supplies. Rock Hill seems a little biased......and I will leave it there!!!!!!!! The employees who were NOT pleasant were - Karen, the Manager, Stephanie at the register and Angela and Heather. I have backyard chickens. While I enjoy raising fresh eggs, I hate the cleaning of the poo in their coop. I researched the deep litter method, which is basically a composting system that reduces the smell, and decided to give it a try. I needed some pine wood shavings to get this project started. The Tractor Supply Co. is a large feed supply store in Rock Hill just a mile off of I-77. It was a quick drive from Charlotte and I got there and back within the hour on a Sunday afternoon. The employees are friendly and helpful. The store is large and has everything you may need for horses, a large farm, chickens, and pets. Even hunting supplies and safes to store your guns. They even have little gifts of adorable farm figurines. If you are looking for a nearby feed store, this is only a short drive south of Charlotte. read more

Tractor Supply - Hardware Stores Near Me - Rock Hill, South Carolina

On 7/11/22 I visited the new Indian Land, SC store for the 4th time. I have taken my autistic grandson there to let him pick out his beloved toy farm animals. The previous visit was terrifying for him as the store alarm went off for no reason. He went into panic and we had to leave the store. This day's visit resulted in me being auditorily assaulted by a clueless and entitled german shepard's owner who allowed it to bark upon immediate entry to the store within feet of where I was checking out. The dog's bark was excruciatingly loud, piercing, static and non-stop. The owner offered no cues to the dog to stop, while another female employee engaged the customer in casual converstaton all the while the dog was barking. Neither tried the get the dog to stop! I told the cashier to please get it to stop as I have PTSD and have been visciously attacked by a dog in the past. I went into anxiety mode and could do nothing more but complete checkout and recover in my car. Had I had my wits about me, my doctor orders are to call EMS due to episodes that result in mini-strokes. Why do stores allow undisciplined and out-of-control dogs with irresponsible owners inside to affect other customers. Clearly this ignorant customer's visit was more important than mine. No one stopped this! After reporting to corporate twice, all I was offered was the same pro-forma response stating a manager from the store to contact me. DID NOT HAPPEN!!! So I will no longer be taking my grandson to this or any other Tractor Supply, nor will I ever shop there again, even though my favorite season of Autumn when I shop with a vengence is coming up soon. I was so forward to see what offerings this store would offer for home decor. I will never step foot into a Tractor Supply. They clearly did not care for me as a customer, nor do they care about customers' safety. Beware!!!!!! read more
