Joanie, Monty and staff are always nice to me, always loving to my dogs. I often visit the Chester store when I visit Lake Almanor to pick up a new toy for my dog. I haven't bought a toy from anywhere else in quite a while. Zeke's current favorite is the squeaky snake, squeakers all up and down the body, and it's lasted a long time. They have a nice selection of quality dog food, a wide variety of toys, and plenty of treats. It's worth the stop to explore, enjoy, and pick something up. My favorite part is taking in my dog, where he gets a yummy treat and some love while I shop. He won't even eat those dried out biscuits they sometimes give at the big-box pet shops, my picky boy. He's never had that problem at Treats! They occasionally have people-treats, too!

When leaving your dog at the kennel, she will let them play with others that she feels your dog would be compatible with, and even lets them play on her agility course. I couldn't have been happier with having my dog stay there. That said, she isn't the greatest at people skills. Every time I have met with her, she focuses on pointing out the flaws of the owner. It makes sense, since we are the ones who raise our dogs and teach them what/what not to do. She seems to have little care for the owners. She always told us we were wrong, even when we would do what seemed right. She won't let you call your dog's name (since it will just wear out the effect), and she absolutely will not let you say no to your dog. While I love positivity, I think that sometimes you need to scold your dog for them to listen. Ultimately, it's up to you. She has been in the business for years, and knows how to train dogs very well. Like I said, it's her people skills that need help.

When I say we did months and months of looking for a breeder, I mean I scooped the ENTIRE U.S., and every time I thought I found a good breeder, I did more digging and found some information that wasn't very ethical or comforting. When I found Susan, I was really hoping she would be the one and so even though we hit it off, I still did some digging... wow, the amount of overwhelmingly positive comments and responses I received from the poodle community was wonderful. She is very loved as a breeder and has a very excellent record, all her dogs are tested for everything you can imagine, she is recognized as a Breeder of MERIT and many other things that you would look for in a breeder. Above all else, she goes above and beyond to get your puppy to you safely. I know back in the day there were some mentions of puppies going through shipping issues, but the first thing she told me was she will never ship any puppies. She learned from that and now she mostly flies out the dogs HERSELF to ensure comfort and safety for the pups. She truly is an excellent breeder and person and I cannot wait to receive our little girl. I will post updates once we get her, but if you don't believe me simply search "Marquis Diamond Reddit" and read the forums online about real folks who have had her pups! Make sure you do that for any breeder you consider because you will find out much more. I feel like I can finally rest now that I am locked in with Susan and have full faith and trust in her capabilities. "TERRIBLE". I purchased a HART brand lawn mower at this location in the summer of 2024. It cost me…read more$289.00 + Tax. The battery will not take a charge. I tried to swap out the battery at the store today because the package says that the battery has a 3 year warranty right on the packaging. And the customer service lady was very rude and snappy with me. Telling me that it's not their problem, and I need to contact the Hart company. She did nothing to try to help me out. A brand new battery for this lawnmower cost $216.00. That's almost as much as I paid for the lawn mower. Walmart is selling this stuff, but they don't stand behind the products that they're selling. I worked for walmart in the 90's, and they always stood behind the product's that sold, Whether you had a receipt or not. Now, this lady barely gave me the time of day when I have a real genuine concern. I will no longer purchase any cordless Hart brand tools from any walmart, if that's the way they're going to treat loyal customers. And i'm giving A; "NO STARS" rating, because that was a "PISS-POOR-EXCUSE" for customer service. I couldn't post my comment without tapping at least one star. But as I mentioned, i'm literally giving "NO STARS"! this interaction with this lady sucked!!!
