The technician showed up at 6 pm (outside of the designated repair window), spent 60 seconds looking at the dryer, and was unable to recreate the issue in real time. Which is fine, the sound is intermittent and that is no fault of his own. However, I took a video of my dryer several days prior and when I showed him the footage, he openly agreed that the sound was atypical. But instead of looking into it further, he left in a rush since it was already late. 24 hours later, the noise was back and I reached out to LG Customer Care about follow up service. However, they are now refusing to send someone back out because this technician claimed the issue was likely caused by dirty vents. So you be the judge. Avoid this company…read more LG sent this company to my house to look at my dryer that is throwing a D80 error code. During the initial call, the technician automatically blamed my dryer vent as the problem on the phone even though I told him multiple times that I had the dryer vent line serviced and verified that the dryer was pushing air at an adequate speed. He was extremely rude on the phone during this call and hung up on me after confirming a time frame to arrive. He did not call me ahead of time to notify me that he was on his way and showed up to my door 45 minutes before the end of the window. When he finally did arrive, he looked at the dryer vent line and pulled lint out of my dryer which was clearly an issue, but ultimately refused to diagnose the issue further even though I showed him a picture of the error code from earlier in the day produced using the dryer's diagnostic mode and several weeks ago during normal use. I ultimately had to kick him out because he was arguing with me the entire time he was there and insulted me by saying I needed to see a Doctor when I told him to leave. A normal appliance repair company technician would have been respectful from the initial phone call, called ahead of time to tell me he was on the way, and actually diagnose the issue properly instead of deciding ahead of time what the problem is without listening to my concerns.

I had received a mailer from Mark's Equipment Repair and decided to give them a call. I spoke with Kim, Mark's wife and partner and was impressed with her good manners. They scheduled a time to come and pickup my cart and make the repairs. Kim and Mark were amazing! She texted me several times during the process with updates on parts ordered and timelines. I was very impressed with Kim's knowledge and later found out that she had spent a career in the auto repair and parts business and it showed in her acumen. She was very cordial and detail oriented and communcated frequently. Mark completed the repairs and his work and attention to detail were beyond expectation. I had mentioned to Mark when he initially picked up my cart that I wish I could slide under my cart to check on things and he literally gave me a free set of wheel ramps so I could drive my cart up and slide under to make minor repairs or touch up paint under the cart body! After numerous calls, it was finally returned. I have never heard so many excuses. We are working 12 hour shifts on the weekend, our truck broke down. I had to buy more mowing equipment because of this company and this week I ended up paying a company to mow my 3 acre yard. Never again will my mower set its tires on this companies property. BEWARE! I will be filing a complaint in this company with the BBB. Ridiculous non sense!
