Rob repaired a heating element in our dryer a few minutes ago. He offered to come on the holiday, but we put if off until today. He stopped by this morning, and unfortunately did not have the part needed to repair the heating element, so he drove to Alexandria to get the part and then back to Leesburg. Rob took the time to show us what was wrong with the dryer, showed us where the old heating element was broken, and how it differed from the replacement part. He couldn't have been more professional and kind. We've had hit-or-miss experiences with repair companies over the year, but we'll be keeping Rob's business card close by, since he's the best we've seen!

Instead, the owner coordinated with my tenant, and the stove was fixed in a timely manner. The bill was sent via text to me which allowed me to stay home and tend to other matters instead of driving 60 miles to Winchester. I own a duplex which means I have double the number of appliances. I know who to call next time one needs repairing. And I'll bet anything, I'll have to call just one time.

Loudoun appliances came out through my home warranty to look at my oven that is heating 50-75…read moredegrees or more above the set temperature. The technician acknowledged it was heating too high, told me the oven exterior was getting dangerously hot, but said that he was going to file a report with my home warranty saying a second opinion was needed. The technician told me he was going to include in his report that the oven was heating too high. The technician did no tests of the oven as far as I could see other than turning the oven to 350 and then back up to 425 and checking the temperature of the oven walls. He was only at my house for about 15 minutes. My home warranty called me after he left, telling me that his report said that he detected no mechanical failures and that he never said in the report that the oven was heating too high, as he told me he would. The home warranty said that based on the report, they would not pay for replacement or repair. I will never use this company again.
