Victoria is a miracle worker! I started seeing her about a year ago because of some acute back pain…read moreand dyshidrotic eczema. She gave me herbs for the eczema. I'd used them before, so I knew the drill. They taste awful, but it's worth it. They were amazing and just cleared the eczema right up. I've tried western medicine with so many types of topical steroids, but nothing worked. My back pain took a little longer. We did some electric stimulation and that really got to the bottom of it. I've also seen Victoria for a case of Bell's palsy I had earlier this year. After some aggressive treatment with acupuncture and herbs, I was good after one month!! Just recently, I started going back to see Victoria for some body pain from working out. I tweaked my trapezius muscle, and it sent a pain up my neck. We did acupuncture and cupping. Cupping can seem unsightly, but it felt like a deep tissue massage in a fraction of the time. I felt a little like Michael Phelps. Hah! I could easily move after one treatment. Victoria has really helped me with the various health conditions I have had. She listens and explains everything very clearly. Go see her!

I specifically asked in writing about the cost of a new patient consultation before scheduling…read more During the scheduling phone call the fee discussed was $75. The confirmation email I received listed only the appointment time, address, and parking information -- it contained no mention of any consultation fee. On the day of the visit I was charged $750. When I questioned the amount, I was told that was the correct fee based on our prior conversation. I left the experience feeling the consultation fee had not been clearly or accurately disclosed in advance. The office itself also raised concerns. There was no secretary or front-desk staff, and the space is shared with a beauty salon, chiropractic office, and other services. All communication was handled directly by the doctor. The lack of transparent pricing has left me with no choice but to file a claim in small claims court to resolve the matter.

Dr. Murakami did not rush me, took the time to genuinely listen, explain treatment options, including some less conventional ones, and I left feeling like she understood how my chronic pain impacts me and genuinely is curious what's going on with my spine, muscles, bones, etc and wants to help. It's unfortunately rare to find a doctor that takes their time and listens to their patients and I feel fortunate to have found Dr. Murakami. She's clearly incredibly knowledgeable and enjoys sharing information, which I really appreciate.

An old injury coupled with repetitive stress injury had me in so much pain that I could not work,…read moreand I struggled to get through every day. I went to seemingly every kind of doctor, including Stanford Pain Clinic, but still the pain kept coming back and ruined my quality of life. Finally I found Dr. Perry and went to see him. He examined me and we talked for a long time. I was impressed by how much he cared and listened. Dr. Perry gave me some medication that immediately got the pain under control. In subsequent visits, he monitored my progress and suggested various ways to avoid aggravating my condition. After a while, I was able to go on a small dose of a maintenance medication, and live my life generally pain-free. I am so grateful to Dr. Perry for showing me a way out of the terrible pain I used to suffer from every day. From time to time Dr. Perry has seminars about pain control. These are really useful. Also he recommends other therapies that can be used to help heal old injuries and reduce the amount of medication required to get a good result. If you are hurting, do yourself a favor and make an appointment with Dr Perry!
