Yes, my family has tried out both, and to be honest, there are pros and cons of both of these companies. We had Dennis RN who was so tentative and engaged in my Dad's care after being discharged from a SNF. He came bi-weekly to make sure he was ok. He ALWAYS got back to me regarding medical advice from the doctor and from his perspective. He stayed by my dad's bedside, observed him, asked questions, called the doctor regarding medication and dosage in front of us. It made me and my mom feel at ease. His team of OT and PT and ST were super hands on. Since he was in bed for over 1.5 months, there was a lot of work that needed to be done. PT and OT was able to push him to walk short distances again. I think the only good thing about Sutter was that we were able to get certain medical supplies sent to our house rather than purchasing it ourselves out of pocket. The homehealth aide at Sutter was on the gentler side, noted, she was women and had that natural nurturing skill. With Accent, it was difficult scheduling, but it was during a time where 1 person was covering for 3 people. Remember, you DO HAVE A CHOICE to chose who your health provider to be and how you would like to be treated. A lot of licensed medical staff only knows what is on the paper, and you and your close ones know you better. Saying that, I will DEFINITELY chose AccentCare over Sutter.

She came dressed inappropriately most of the time. I would find her laying on my bed playing games on her phone. I ended up having to get rid of her. The second one came the first week because the other girl couldn't make it. She did a great job washing my hair. She emptied the dishwasher and ended up breaking a plate and a saucer. I found a piece of the saucer on the floor. She said she didn't know where it came from. The next day I found the broken saucer in the cupboard. I also discovered later that she had cracked a plate and hid it under other ones. I asked her to put my trash out at the curb. She was gone for about 10 min. I asked her if she figured out how to open the gate and she said no problem. She did not put the trash out. The next day I didn't see the trash can so I called the trash company thinking it had been stolen. A few days later I was able to get down the back stairs and found the full can sitting there. It had not moved. They sent me a third girl who did a great job for several weeks. Then she had to stop because she said her son was getting out of school and she did not have child care in the afternoons. When she left, she said she wanted to come back after her son went to visit his father in six weeks. Then they sent me a 4th person. It was a man the last time. He refused to do anything and wouldn't leave until his time was up. The next day I was getting up, having something to eat, and getting ready to go to the doctor, and one of the supervisors showed up and wouldn't leave. She said one of the workers said there was feces piled around my house. That was probably the one I got rid of for playing games on the phone. The supervisor said she didn't see anything like that. I had potty pads down for my dogs for the nighttime. The only place she smelled urine was when she was standing near one of them. I was just getting dressed for the day and hadn't put new pads down yet. The office was a complete nightmare. They insisted I needed to have someone come deep clean before they would send someone else. I told them their supervisor had shown up unannounced and didn't see what their crappy employee was trying to say. She insisted they had to believe the employee, even though the supervisor said she didn't see anything like that. They tried to say it was my fault that 3 out of 4 of their employees were garbage employees. I had PT and an LVN coming. I asked both of them, and a friend that would come by every few days, if my house smelled bad. All three of them told me it did not. So their need to blame me for things that were not happening was them trying to justify their crappy employees. I ended up contacting the regional manager. He said he understood why I was so upset and would be dealing with the people in the office because this was not how he wanted his company to be thought of. I definitely will not use them again after my next surgery. They really don't even deserve a 1 star rating.

This was contrary to the information given to me from Accentcare. Although most of the caregivers were kind hearted young women who tried their best, they were inexperienced and incompetent. Two caregivers were a no-show. three caregivers were late without a phone call from Accentcare. All but one caregiver could not cook. One after another failed at the most basic kitchen tasks. They damaged my kitchen equipment and wasted food. It is unconscionable for Accentcare to expose already sick patients to Covid!!

In fact when I am browsing the aisles I feel like I want to toss out everything I have in my home and start decorating from scratch! They have gorgeous throw pillows in a wide array of textures & colors, a huge selection of wall art, vases, artificial plants, candles, mirrors, bathroom accents, just to name a few items. Prices are reasonable & the quality is great! I purchased a bathroom accessory set for a great price over a year ago & it has held up better than any other set I have bought elsewhere! If you ever need anything to accessorize your home, be sure to check this place out!

I figured it would also be a good opportunity to check out their other items. To my surprise, the store was massive, almost like Hobby Lobby. I was thrilled I made the trip! However, I'm giving it 4 stars because the store felt a bit disorganized--especially the Christmas ornaments, which were scattered everywhere. Also, I wasn't able to find everything I wanted, even though their website showed those items as in stock at this location. I did ask a team member for help, and while she was friendly and tried to assist, the item wasn't where she directed me. That said, their prices are very competitive, which is definitely a reason I'll be back for more home decors and other items!
