I wish they would have more rooms for flowers, having it at the entrance can over whelming for other shoppers, so if you don't need flowers avoid it the first couple of hours, otherwise prepare for defensive , lol read more

Trader Joe's is always a favorite. I love their dips, especially the Garlic Spread & Dip, Everything but the Bagel Greek Yogurt Dip, Caramelized Onion Dip, and Unexpected Cheddar Spread. Their popcorn, rice selections, and frozen shrimp are staples in my kitchen as well. What really sets this store apart is the staff. They are genuinely kind and incredibly helpful--one time a crew member even escorted me around the store to help me shop for a party I was hosting. That level of service makes shopping here a pleasure every time. read more

This is one busy and well stocked store. Andrew, aka Watts, was by far the quickest and kindest checker that I've ever encountered.

We love this chain and all that they have to offer. This store is fairly typical of other Trader Joes with the typical food and beverage products you would see at other locations to include discount flowers, Good selection of produce, dairy, a decent selection of meat/fish, dried food selection, frozen foods and the list goes on. the Business model for this chain is to offer quality foods/Liquor at a value cost (think Aldi's only better) where they absolutely nail it. Speaking of this particular store it is coveniently located on the southwest corner of the Maple/Telegraph intersection offering easy in/out access. My only gripe about this store is that they closed the West Bloomfield location in lieu of this new location making it more difficult for folks in my area to get there. Having said that, we and our friends still travel the extra distance to shop here, just less often, as we are such big fans of the business. For those of you that know this chain I probably don't have to sell you on it as you are probably already a fan. For those of you that have not experience Trader Joes though this is absolutely a must visit especially if you are a fan of quality products at a value price. I love Trader Joe's and this location is great! I've been coming to this Trader Joe's for years, and I've always been able to find some of my favorite items like their Everything But The Bagel Seasoning Blend, Everything Croissant Rolls, Creamy Cauliflower Jalapeño Dip, and TJ Grilled Veggies just to name a few. Im sure a lot of people only come here because it's kinda trendy, but it's really worth all the hype. On top of having lots of their own products, it seems like they may have the friendliest staff of any grocery store, I mean they'll even bag your groceries for you. ( I'm looking at you Aldi's) Between Michigan and California, I don't think I've visited a TJ that I haven't liked, or had a bad experience in. Now this location is always busy. I've visited the store the moment it opened and even later in the day and it's still packed regardless of the time. As of lately with covid, there's been a line to get inside as I would assume they can't have too many people inside at once. This isn't a complaint, but just a warning that it will be busy whenever you visit. I was able to pick up some regular items but I was happy to see some of their seasonal pumpkin Items as well! I used to get Moscato Gold wine but I don't believe they sell it anymore but thats fine because I like to try new ones, and they always seem to have a few new wines whenever I come in. I still think the best thing at TJ is their coconut body butter, that's right their best item Isn't even food. Drop what you're doing and go get some of this lotion/body butter lol. This TJ's is only 10 minutes away from me, but I'll still go the additional 30 minutes to the other locations because this spot ALWAYS has empty shelves everywhere.. This Trader Joe's is large, with plenty of products in all sections! The staff are all super nice and quick to come to your aid if you're lost in the thousands of items they have. Picked up some peanut corn puffs that are actually good for the kids that were very tasty! read more

I love my Trader Joe's runs! This place has fed my family for years. It's reliable and stocks all of our old favorite standbys, but also constantly presents us new and unique foods, especially seasonal ones. Founds some fun Halloween bark and pumpkin tortilla chips for my annual Halloween dinner. The prices are amazingly reasonable. I can shop for a weeks worth of food for less than a standard grocery store. Plus it's always a treat to eat a TJ dinner. The best bargain is their wine. I've found so many unique and tasty bottles for around $4 or $5. This price really allows an amateur like myself to experiment with different types of wine, or bring something fun to a party. I look forward to seeing their winter selection this year. Since this place has reached cult status, people are doing YouTube TJ hauls. The size of this location is decent, it's located in a central area, and is not too crowded. The parking lot is reasonable compared to other locations as well. This location is usually my first choice when needing a TJ fix. read more

Thank you Trader Joe's for good prices with choices for all people. There is always a ton of help wandering around. It was extra packed today being a holiday weekend, and workers were constantly restocking the isles to keep everything from looking stripped. Love their cheap and fun cards, we stock up for occasions each time we come through. They are inclusive and creative! Trying some new food options that were inspiring in both the frozen and fresh areas. Their rotating end caps make the space feel positive and fun. Love the little kids carts. There was a mom so thankful I was patient when the little ones were having a hard time navigating the busy isles. Great people that were very patient all around today. So thankful for that! I was never a fan of Trader Joe's in the past, but this location has made me fall in love! The workers here are all so friendly and helpful. I have always thought that the organization of the stores is unusual, but I think it just takes a bit to get used to. I especially love the variety of high quality products that are offered here. I love trying new things and I definitely need to stay away from here because there's so much that I would like to try! So far I have enjoyed my purchases. I recommend the macarons, lobster ravioli, and the mini ice cream cones (I believe they're called hold a cone). Trader Joe's also has the best cinnamon brooms! The scent is magnificent and soo strong! I have never purchased a broom that has a strong scent until I purchased one from here. I came back yesterday to purchase another one. I was hoping to purchase some minis as well, but they were all sold. The only downside is the long line outside, but it goes by pretty quickly. It's also definitely worth the wait! read more

They didn't have them, but an employee still helped me double check... oh well, I grabbed some avocados I needed and headed to the front. Cashier: How are you? Me: I'm bummed! I loved this place! I found a lot of organic things! I was just wishing it was bigger with mote stuff! They have a cool wine section and checking out is super quick. I did have to wait in line outside to get in it it wasn't long! They do ask you to do social distance and wear a mask of course and they are doing the same. I hate to be giving a low review but based on my experience, I don't think I'll be coming to this location. There were at least two shoppers wearing a face mask on their neck. Multiple employees saw them and didn't say anything. When one of the shoppers (wearing a face mask on her neck and talking on the phone the entire time) finished checking out, the counter was not disinfected. When I mentioned the incorrect face mask to the employee she just shrugged. I thought Trader Joe's backed their employees when enforcing the correct use of face masks at their store. Seems like this branch is an exception. If they are not enforcing this, it makes me wonder what other COVID precautions they don't enforce. read more

I can appreciate this TJ - It's not too big or too small so you don't feel overwhelmed. Even though they are still slightly pricy but I do enjoy the variety; trying new things are my thing. I used to go to the 14 Mile/Northwestern Trader Joe's when I lived in the Walled Lake area, and when I moved to Troy last year, the store moved as well - and thank goodness, because the Royal Oak one is always crazy packed! This store is huge and whenever I've been, it's only been moderately busy. I buy a lot of frozen things here, like turkey burgers, veggie egg rolls, and snacky foods, as well as their frozen corn. I also like their pesto and their dried mango, though it's VERY addictive so I don't buy it that often! This is my favorite of the 3 Trader's I frequent (this, Northville, Royal Oak) and I'm glad it opened. read more

I'm giving this a 5 because this Trader Joe's has EVERYTHING! Their shelves are full and I've never missed out on anything. I also always have great service! I love the brioche bread, the chocolate crepes & the mini ice cream cones which are just perfect for everyone, including kids. First time I tried the butter cookies sandwiches and they are goooood!! The cookie is like shortbread and the middle is a very mild sweet spread. I usually get the bread & ice cream, but this is the first time for the crepes and cookies. I also really love their buffalo mozzarella...it is perfectly creamy inside and delicious cheesiness on the outside. The pita chips are among the best I've had....lightly toasted and salted cracker delicious with cheese! I look forward to returning to try more things! read more

We are a loyal Trader Joe's shopper every week, however, our family is becoming more and more disappointed in one of our favorite stores. Trader Joe's is slowly replacing healthy choices for poor ones. For example, Trader Joe's "Next to Godliness Automatic Dishwasher Detergent" has been replaced with one that includes sulfates. We will be buying our dishwasher detergent from Whole Foods now. Trader Joe's used to have peanut butter made only with peanuts in glass jars a few years ago, now in only plastic jars are available. This is pushing us closer to shopping for more items from Whole Foods every week and less from TJ's. People are willing to pay a little more for health. Thank you, K&L read more

Not only do they have great products but the staff is amazing! I left my wallet in the cart here. Didn't know I had. They mailed it back to me with all the cash, credit cards, etc. untouched! My friend lost her mother and was in buying groceries before she had to leave for the funeral. The cashier noticed she was upset, gave a her a real hug and told her to come back when she was home for free flowers. They are truly a gift to the community. read more

All the great products I've come to love from Trader Joe's, but the store layout is less convenient and checkout is slower (there's not really an express lane). Employees are helpful, but not at the same level that I've seen at the Royal Oak location. Parking is definitely better than Royal Oak, but many drivers behave very erratically (I've heard at least one or two claim that they're so bad at parking because they have expensive cars, which I suppose is a general hazard of a location in Bloomfield). I generally park farther away from the entrance and just walk a bit. read more

I headed here after a appointment down the road on Telegraph. I had popped onto Google to see how far from my appointment the shop in Farmington Hills was and discovered that it will be closing at the end of the month and that this store had newly opened! I went in, and was warmly greeted by every worker I passed! Score one star. I was not surprised to find things in varied locations from my preferred store in Grosse Pointe - since I had experienced similar discrepancies when visiting the stores in Royal Oak and Livonia. But each time I asked someone where this or that might be located, they were pleasant, helpful and offered to take me to said item - or search for it! Score another star. The shelves and items (other than one, that was then searched for and would be delivered later that day) were well stocked and full of Trader Joe's items that often peek interest and make my mouth water. WARNING - never go shopping here hungry! LOL. Score another star. I was also able to offer suggestions to other patrons, who in return offered suggestions of their own. One such being the half-gallon of Coconut Milk that TJ's carries in it's dairy section. It's an incredible alternative to Cow's milk and fantastic in soups and baking! Score another star. As I approached the registers, I wasn't sure which line to get into - there was no one waiting, but all the registers open were occupied. Instantly 4 of the 5 cashiers made a suggestion. The cashier that waited on me was warm, chatty (in a pleasant way) and was surprised to see two of the items I had (the aforementioned Coconut Milk and Salted Caramels) and asked about them. We also chatted about the cold and credit cards. Time at the register at other stores often feels like a chore and the worst can be at large chain stores, where they have the heat in the area cranked to the detriment of the shoppers in coats. I am vegan so of course I love Trader Joe's. The labels are very easy to read if you need to see if you can eat something (it says vegetarian / vegan / gluten free right on the front usually). The prices are great! I turned a basil plant into ash in seconds flat - they took the plant back without question. We got a box of four turkey burgers but when we opened the box, there were only 3. They told us to eat the 3 and they'd replace it with a new box as well. Because of the ease, quality, price and friendliness, we shop here almost exclusively. I just wish the produce was a little better. read more

Trader Joe's is a class act. From the workers to the quality of products, it's an all around great shopping experience. If you can't find something-ringy dingy dingy-the cashier will ring the bell and summons a TJ minion to help aide in your request. They still don't have it? They will suggest something else. Not just to get you to buy but so you'll come back because it was a great suggestion. From frozen meals/veggies to lunch salads, wraps, sushi, all fresh and delicious. Looking for cuisine from abroad but not quite sure you can try out that Indian or Mediterranean restaurant just yet? No prob. Grab a ready to heat and eat meal from a place you've not yet discovered on the map. It's going to be quality and inexpensive. It will waken your taste buds and expand your pallet. Want to just get the staples... meats, breads, milk and fruits? They are here and fresh. Prices are good folks. Want cheap wine and beer? Yeah cheap as in $$ not quality. It's all here. How is it even possible that every single person that works in 1 establishment is wonderful, helpful, super friendly, and knowledgeable on what seems like every product I ever have a question about?? Well... I'm not sure, but it's how it is here at Trader Joes. I love going there for my grocery shopping trips because the prices are fantastic, the quality is even better, and the customer service is better than that!! I love their seasonal juices (spiced cider), their frozen meals (veggie pad thai, reduced guilt mac and cheese), and the different types of frozen veggies. Their snack foods are awesome, the chocolate chip cookies are to die for, and their selection of produce is better than it was in the past.
