Store seems nice, visited TJ for the first time, was kinda expecting cheaper version of Whole Foods but haven't found anything special..most items were missing price tags so I think I'll choose WF next time, not a bad store just had a higher expectations of it read more

Big fan of this place. I can walk out of there with so much in groceries for around $100, and most of it organic. Love their yogurt, as well their frozen organic veggies. I live west for totally worth the drive! read more

I think I may have just saved $100 on my bill vs. Greenwise or WF. Everything was organic and so much cheaper. Granted the selection is limited and produce is not as fresh. I will need to shop both but no longer getting my pantry or freezer items anywhere else. read more

The Store was very clean and well organized let me see him stocked with high-priced brands or generic food stuffs Without much room in the middle. Finally we have our own TJs in So FL! I always loved going home to CA to visit Mom & make a trip to TJs in Ventura. Good to see Richard (from Ventura) is now managing the Boca TJs. Thankfully they keep Trader Joe's the same. It's always a pleasure shopping at Trader Joe's. No matter who it is taking care of me at the cash register they are always so friendly and happy. Every time I'm inside the store I get asked multiple times if I need help finding anything and the staff is always very attentive and knowledgeable. Sometimes they don't always have exactly what I need and I have to make 2 stops but other than that I wouldn't shop anywhere else. read more

My local TJ's is my go to for all last minute meal ingredients. Every week I find new and interesting ingredients, products and specialty items to whip up something creative. The TJ store in Boca is awesome, coffee sample station is always stocked and there are usually yummy samples to try, ehich i I end up buying. Their displays are beautiful, they have creative product at the right price, and I never go home empty-handed. They even have great skin and beauty products along with kitchen gear like sponges, kitchen towels, I even saw artisan wood serving trays one time. Their sweets? Forget it!! So good you cannot resist. Great quality produce, protein, dairy/ cheeses and wonderful snacks for entertaining, healthy ingredients that are usually pricey at other stores (maca and matcha), beers and wines. The folks there are very nice and the store is clean and well-kept. I popped in on my birthday one time and my friend mentioned casually mentioned it was my birthday. The store manager told me to pick out a bouquet of flowers complementary for my birthday. I love this place. My only complaint is the parking lot - it is small and it is filled with crazy and rude Boca drivers. But I will brave the conditions for the quality of TJ any day. read more

Underwhelming, after listening to all the hype. Prices aren't much lower than Whole Foods, and has the same sort of vibe. The store and parking lot is always full, I thought maybe they were giving away free food, but let me assure you they are not. Maybe it is the location, but this store must be a real gold mine for Trader Joe's. I won't be coming here again, I prefer Whole Foods baked goods by far. read more

Those of you who do not have a Trader Joe's in your area need to drive to the closest one the value you get it this place is second-to-none I have to feed my mother and my husband and myself dinner for one week plus some lunches milk cereal their wonderful strawberry blueberry and fig bars and I even got hemo seeds and it only came up to $99 I'm sure that the same items I would have bought at Publix even though you can't get a lot of the stuff at Publix would be well over $180 so get your buns over to Trader Joe's and see what all the hype is about they also give your free coffee samples and their cheese selection is great with the prices also got to factor this bottle of sauvignon blanc that's normally $15 for 7.99!!! read more

The reason that I gave Trader Joe's a bad review is because of the way they priced things. They charge by the piece. There is not a scale in the store so that I cannot find out what I am paying by the pound. For example I purchase small apples. Paying by the piece they come out to much more than paying by the pound. Half of the store is dedicated to selling wine. It is absolutely no competition to Whole Foods we're everything is Priced by the pound. So experience I have found out by experience that stores that sell pre-packaged products by the unit or piece and not the pound are ripping you off. read more

Giving 4 stars only because I wish it was bigger, drove here for their delicious stuffed grape leaves but they were all out :( however I bought the most amaizng sesame seed crackers and masala burgers, both TJ brand which Im loving!! The prices are great, I got two bags full for $50 and had an awesome time shopping with my friend. I cant wait to return, this will be most definitely an added place to my shopping list. read more

I'm a huge Trader Joe's fan. The prices are so much better than Publix and the majority of what I buy is organic. I mainly buy produce, flowers, dairy, wine, cereal and frozen foods. I prefer Publix for their bakery - breads and birthday cakes and Fresh Market for meat and fish. But the customer service and coffee samples are unbeatable at TJs and I love their house products. And they give you free flowers on your birthday!!!! read more

This review does not discredit the fact that Trader Joe's offers a number of healthy and interesting alternatives for meals and ingredients. I fell in love with the fact that I trust the company with their meats, produce, and one of a kind, pre-made meals. My concerns lie with the quality that has continued to decrease. I have been shopping at multiple traders Joe's and and have noticed that I have purchased provider (fruits and veggies) that have gone bad merely a day or two after purchasing. I have bought fruits with mold already sprouting, lettuce that is already browning, bread will mold... and I guess you can say it would be my fault for not "checking" but I have came to trust Trader Joe's as a brand and would think their operations would be to check the produce or not sell it at that point. I know that have a great return policy, but who wants to return back to the store, to return items every-time you make a purchase. If you are a Traderr Joe's shopper, as long as I have been, I hope you can agree with the quality level getting worse and worse. I also don't understand why the crew loads produce and food items into their shelves at high traffic shopping times and doesn't move for the customers. I have had numerous times where crew members disregard a customer's need to "squeeze in" to get some fruit or veggies Just so they can load the food up quickly... especially when there is plenty already there to pick from. This is an observation I have experienced multiple times at this location and it never made sense. read more

I have been a Trader Joe's shopper for over twenty year, running every Sunday morning over to the Sherman Oaks store. Since moving to Florida I even made the 120 mile trip to its Naples location. It's is not completely the same as the California store, especially in the Spirits department . The best times to go is during the week,Monday to Thursday , before 5pm. It has only been two months since opening and it is getting better like the Miami store. Construction is being done so parking can be a problem but there is also street parking right next to the store. Head to the wine and beer department it is paradise and what goes better with wine, CHEESE, ita a CHEESE BUFFET from all over Europe and the U.S. . For those shoppers in Fort Lauderdale like me, ours is coming soon on 1580 Federal Highway. I have to admit I made Marqus R a Trader Joe's shopper ,he is hooked like a fish on a line. read more

Like its counterpart in South Dade which was my first Trader Joe's experience, the Boca outpost is filled with goodies (caveat, on this visit they had suffered a malfunction in their freezers over New Year's so there was not a lot of frozen stock available. I was personally thankful as this probably kept my budget in check) and staffed with knowledgeable employees who unlike most of us in South Florida - actually seem to enjoy their job. What is great about this location is it's only a 45 minute journey on the #10 bus each way from my neighborhood in North Lauderdale, so even bringing a cooler or container with something to keep an item chilled, when they do have their frozen items it won't be prohibitive to purchase them. Set on the edge of Mizner Park, which is really a relatively cozy area of upscale shopping (is there any other in Boca?) the location just invites you to continue walking around and return later for goods you can consume throughout the work week. Despite fridge problems I'm happy to report I snagged one of their packages of iberico hams as well as some great fresh squeezed tangerine juice that I naturally paired up with some fresh Veuve Clicquot (can't get too healthy just because everyone does it post New Year's now!). In short, I love Trader Joe's and hope to return soon but I can't finish this review without reminding everyone that the Trader Joe's owners were originally siblings with the owner's of Aldi's. So for a quarter and bringing your own bags with you, you'd be surprised at the gourmet goodies and delicious delights you can find right at your local Aldi's for even less - and these are times where pinching pennies count! read more

Ah I love me some Trader Joes! Especially when its empty... or not full of pretentious cart bashers. I was anxiously awaiting the opening of the Boca and Delray locations, as they are a pleasant alternative to the expensive Whole Foods or a boring Publix. Now that the opening buzz has cooled down, it really is a nice spot for grocery shopping. I tend to go early in the morning, that way I miss the crowds (it's a quaint store in comparison to other grocery outlets), as well as getting fully stocked shelves. Items that I have fallen in love with: crunchie cookie butter, italian bread, spiced apple cider, masala veggie burgers, not to mention the fantastic selection of salad items and pre-made dinners. As you can tell I cannot sing praises higher, but to my surprise I really fell hard for the wine section. As an avid Total Wine shopper, I didn't think I would be impressed, but although they cannot boast of the vast selection Total Wine has, you simply cannot beat the prices. Even the $2.99 Trader Joe brand cabernet and shiraz tasted great for the price; not bitter as you find with other cheaper reds. I tried a couple Trader Joe's exclusive wines and have not had a miss yet! Lastly, I'm a sucker for the brown paper bags, and I really appreciate the reusable cotton bags you can get for $2.99 or the fancier ones for a little more; they really are quite stylish. So I'm firmly on the Trader Joe's train.... and it's officially left the station :) read more

When I went to return an item, here's what happened: First, exchanges are done at the register, not at a service counter. The cashier then rings a HUGE ship-bell at the register (you'll see it if you pay attention; at first I thought it was a decoration). The cashier then raises his hand and stands at the entrance of the line waiting for a "manager" who can process the return. I'm all but certain this is done to embarrass people ("Who the heck is holding up this line?!") and dissuade them from returning things. Well, this dissuaded me into ever going back there again. I will admit the produce (what they had of it) looked nice and was reasonably priced but apart from that I thought the place was very low-brow, not much different than Aldi's what with their "store brands". For the life of me, I can't see the appeal of Trader Joe's. read more

Omg best lemon bars and easy pre made frozen goodness foods that are wildly inexpensive, highly delisjuous and last and last for the perfect time you want to eat them cause frozen easy dinners lunches wlth no laborious cooking. This place is the worst. Sure, the prices are great but when it comes to checking out, it will take you up to 20 minutes waiting in line. It took one of the cashiers 20 minutes to check out someone right in front of me because he spent the entire time flirting with the customer (which I find unprofessional) and going as slow as possible just to spend more time talking. This has happened twice and with two different cashiers. The place is constantly crowded and the employees are always rushing around so you can't ask them for help. I'm just trying to buy my items and go home. If you're looking to spend your life at Trader Joe's and never get on with your day, this is the place for you! read more

Absolutely loves this place. Their customer service can't get any better. This weekend I went in before a beach trip where manager Jimmy picked out and sliced two watermelons for me with the help of associate Sabrina. They wrapped the water melon and bagged it for me. They don't normally offer the service but since the store was relatively slow they didn't mind. During this time we introduced ourselves ( Jimmy mentioned how he and the staff want to get to know all of their customers ) and really made me feel welcome. This is what a neighborhood grocery store should be like, i won't shop anywhere else! read more

love, love, love this store. clean, bright, wide isles are so inviting. the store is small as most Trader Joes are but has great assortment of good food and beautiful plants and flowers. the prices are reasonable. the staff are happy, cheerful AND helpful. WOW. I will be sad to leave this area, we live in the northeast with the closest TJs 2.5 hours away. I enjoyed the comment from someone else.....this is the child of Addis and the Fresh market....makes me laugh but is somewhat true. read more
