I love you Trader Joe's! Now please expand and come to East Hollywood. So while in the area I can't pass up a chance to come here. I only have the one in Ft. Lauderdale to compare it to. I imnediately gravitate to my favorite items here. So while heading to the bread section to get pita bread I see pumpernickel my favorite and get a loaf as well. I particularly like their frozen mushrooms and it really is great to add to any of my recipes. So as I look at their wine selection lucky me there is a tasting. This sauvignon blanc from New Zealand was crisp fragrant and delucious. Under $10 priced great I got a $3.99 bottle of rose as well. Let's see onto produce for a small round watermelon,pineapple,tomatoes,Persian cucumbers, anf avocados that tempted me as well. Than I said might as well get some deli presliced meats and cheeses to make a little snack when I get home. So I get a package of Genoa Salame & Provolone Cheese as well as Maple Turkey Breast all this shopping makes a girl hungry. I love Trader Joe's products and quality and I generally enjoy shopping here. I only gave 4 stars because checking out can be a problem. I would recommend they have an express lane to service customers purchasing just a few items. They are very busy and therefore out of stock of several popular items. After several disappointing trips not being able to get an item I came in for I now call the service desk and have them hold what I need and they gladly do that. I think they should open another store in west Delray or Boynton to service customers who travel a distance to shop with them read more

This store is small when compared to most grocery stores. When I first walk in I'm greeted by rows of colorful flowers and potted spices. I like to shop at Trader Joe's. They have a lot of items that are hard to find in other stores. There's a big variety of fat free cheeses, different kinds of prepared salads, hummus, frozen foods, fruits, and vegetables, and a lot more. There's a good selection of vegan/vegetarian foods. I started shopping there because of their large selection of foods that I could eat while on the Weight Watchers program. I often buy wine there. They have a great selection and the prices for wine is very reasonable. The last time I was there a very nice employee was standing outside the front door. He went over a cart with sanitizer before giving the cart to me. Nice. read more

Don't get me wrong, it is a quirky grocery store that has some really interesting items and the prices are pretty low, but the parking lot here is so crowded that you would think they are giving everything away for free. What's not to like about Trader Joe's? I love the fact that I can try new things and TJ's will take anything back with no questions asked. I try one or two new items each time I go. So far the only thing that had no appeal (or taste) to me was the kale chips. I do have to stay away from the chocolate peanut butter cupcakes. They are amazing! My only gripe is the lack of internet service! In both the Davie and Boca locations, I've been unable to text or receive calls. Not the end of the world, but a problem when one must communicate. If you're from California or Chicago and accustomed to great TJ's this place is a dump. I find it hard to believe TJ's would allow this in one of their stores. Try the balsamic glaze over salad instead of dressing. Also, their coconut cooking oil that comes in a jar is a great face moisturizer! I use it at night and under my foundation in the morning. My skin has never been better. The mini ice cream cones make a great dessert for those who don't want dessert. Fresh ravioli is delish with a little sauce. Smoked salmon great to have on hand. Tempura shrimp, dumplings, fried rice and veg spring rolls perfect for a last minute dinner. The best thing is that the Company stands in back of all their products. read more

I live just west of 441 so it's a schlepp to get there but I find it's not that far off I-95 so if I can plan in advance and throw a cooler in the car I try to stop on my way home from appointments that take me north of Delray Beach. The food is fresh and the assortment surprisingly abundant considering the small size of the store. My ONLY GRIPE is the seasonal rotation of some of my favorites. Sometimes I miss them altogether, such as the pickle flavored popcorn (which seem to be there for a blink of an eye) and some of the aoilis. They offer the finest turkeys for Thanksgiving and other wonderful holiday items. The frozen foods are remarkable. So easy to throw together an interesting meal with the terrific cheeses, spreads, some sweet potato gnocchi or pesto pizza from my freezer. Can't beat the 99 cent greeting cards and well-priced flowers. I rarely leave without something nice for myself. read more

The staff are friendly and will do their best to help you find an item. I've been to the Trader Joes in California. I've been to the Trader Joe's in Wellington. And now I get to walk less than half a mile to the Trader Joes in my backyard. I will say that this Trader Joe's is very bright and very roomy. I love the fact that everything is marked Trader Joes so that you know it has been inspected by their people. You will be impressed with the pricing of items. You will also be impressed that they put the weight of the items especially in the produce section with the price. I agree that you must do a run or a browse of the store first. Especially if this is your first time at a Trader Joes. There is plenty of parking for the store. However since it is on the corner of a row of buildings, it may be difficult to find parking spaces right in front of the store. since it is a unique store you will find unique people. I'm so happy this location opened up! As with any trader joes in the country, this location also has a crazy parking situation. Delray beach has been developing quite fast in the past year and this is just another great addition. What got me really excited about this store was that I found all the specific Trader joe items I was looking for but couldn't find in the Wellington location. As with all trader joes, I especially love the flower section! I'm so happy it's so close! I kinda feel bad for the fresh market across the street now. read more

Oh Trader Joe's... thank you thank you thank you, for making your presence known in South Florida. I give Trader Joe's 5 stars, no wavering, no doubts, 5 solid stars. What is it about Trader Joe's that I love so much? The amazing, unique, high quality food that they offer. It's a grocery store, but so much more. They have awesome fresh produce and pre-packaged food. Their soups are killer... the carrot-ginger is amazing!! Salads, sandwiches, you name it, they got it. Besides produce they have meats, cold cuts, dairy items, etc. But look at the details. They have so many many unique items, especially now, during pumpkin season. I kid you not... pumpkin overload. I think I'm sweating pumpkin products. You got pumpkin croutons, soup, chai, ice cream, salad mix, ravioli (which is sinfully delicious), rolls, pancakes, biscotti..... clearly I can go on and on here, Forrest Gump style (Pumpkin juice, pumpkin seeds, pumpkin bread... you get the point). They just have such an eclectic variety of products, that you can spend an entire day looking at everything. My newest obsession is the Mochi and the Ginger Mints. Mochi is this japanese rice cake, which they fill with ice cream. As you can imagine, I just bought the pumpkin mochi. It's like this amazing gelatin shell, filled with what can be almost pumpkin pie, but it's ice cream, and its fantastic. On top of everything, they also have a great craft beer selection, the famous 2 buck chuck wine (being a wine enthusiast, I've never tried it, as I've been told by everyone it gives you the worlds worst hangover). Trader Joe's is one of my favorite grocery stores! They carry unique food items that other places don't offer. What really wows me is their low prices and forgiving return policy. You can bring back almost any item back to the store for a full refund, with or without a receipt. This also includes items you've opened and even eaten!! Definitely worth a try if you've never been before. The staff and food are way above average! You also don't have to empty your cart at check out, plus they only carry paper bags. read more

The fact that there's a Trader Joe's near me is awesome, as there are a few products that I really like. But having been to a few other TJ locations, I wasn't as impressed with this one. The layout didn't seem as organized--but this might just be because I grew used to the ones I previously went to. I had to go up and down the aisles a few times to find what I was looking for. There were a number of things either out of stock or in low quantity, though this may be due to the rush of people opening weekend. The produce was less impressive than I would have liked, but I liked the salad selections. Overall, whether or not this is the best TJ location I've been to is irrelevant because I'll keep going back for the cookie butter and the lemon curd. read more

I use to like Trader Joe's I have spent so much money there. DC, VA, Maryland, NY, Boca, and so many more, now Delray beach FL. From this day forward July 1 2020. I shall never again shop in Trader Joe's. In this very stressful time of COVD, I find the workers and supervisor, particularly at the Delray Beach branch to be derelict in customer service. I have trouble wearing the mask because I feel sick even if worn for a few minutes. I related this to a worker yet they insist I wear a mask. I picked up the one item I went to get when suddenly a male worker started telling people I had COVD and that they must stay away. I was then frogged marched out of the store, bullied by four men including the manager. I think because I am black they automatically assume I had COVID I was humiliated and demoralized. The actions of Trader Joe's staff toward me was unacceptable and unconscionable. read more

Decent trader joes went in on the weekend and it seems their fridges were down so you couldn't buy any refrigerated food. That wasn't a problem since I was running errands and only buying shelf items. I would have been a little annoyed if I drove up and planned a full on grocery shopping and that happened. This trader joes seemed to have a decent amou t of space. Except the fact people just stand in the isle and don't move. I still love Trader Joes because they have the best prices all around. It was my first time going to a Trader Joe's this morning. Parking was easy & hassle free. I went at 9am and there was only like five other people there. They had some really pretty flowers in the front. They also had a lot of organic and healthy food options even though I dont really buy organic. I was able to get some things that other stores dont really have. The cashier and bagger were really friendly. I brought my own bags instead of using theirs. They told me about a raffle that they do for bringing your own bags. read more

I really love Trader Joe. I would say I stop in here at least twice a week on my way home. I love the way the store is set up and the employees are so friendly and FUNNY! Things I really really love about trader Joe are the following: Salami in deli frozen salmon tri-colored Popsicles chocolate chip ice cream sandwiches with chips covering the ice cream in the middle...OMG SO GOOD! I think I'm officially a TJA. (Trader Joe's addict). Symptoms include trying all samples offered, buying almost every featured item, planning meals around TJ purchases. The best part lately for me is their frozen prepared foods. I stock up and utilize for weekday meals. We are enamored with their frozen: naan bread, jasmine rice, prosciutto on flatbread, Alaska Salmon, grilled asparagus, lemon bars, almond pastries..just to name a few items.
