This stuff is good! This mix of veggies and seasoning makes the perfect side accompaniment for meat.

I love Trader Joe's for their unique brand of groceries. We are regulars and come weekly to shop however I feel this location desperately needs to be relocated somewhere in town to a bigger store with a larger parking lot. Oftentimes parking is challenging and occasionally we find ourselves circling a number of times before a space opens up. Also, it seems like the store has supply chain issues because staple items (i.e. eggs and non-refrigerated juices) go unavailable for weeks. The floral section has good variety and if you are DIY savvy you can make a nice arrangement for excellent value. Aside from this I like their selection and I like that we have a Trader Joe's in the neighborhood.

Just a quick thank you to team member Molly!! As I was checking out this afternoon, she asked me how my day was going and I mentioned it was my birthday. She found me in the parking lot shortly after with a baby bouquet of flowers and wished me happy birthday. Above and beyond customer service!!

This Trader Joe's is diagonally across from Jewel, and while getting in is okay, getting out is a bit tricky with the constant traffic. As other TJs, they have flowers/plants, breads, teas, condiments, fresh produce, cheeses/sausages, ready-made salads, nut and dried fruit mixes, wine/beer/juices, and desserts. We came here to get an Advent calendar (for dogs) for the nephew, which I'm hoping he'll like! I liked that they showcased local beer (aka, Sketchbook). Be aware from the random pedestrians and sharp-turning vehicles. +tight parking

I came specifically for 3 items my mother requested on this visit. I must thank Jim who went above and beyond to assist me locating the items, calling other locations, and check when the other two items will be shipped to the store. I also got to chat with other friendly staff who were near the service desk at the time. The store was clean, organized and well stocked. So, why 4 stars, you ask? Well, you all know by now, I love taking photos of interesting products. I spend more time taking photos than grocery shop most of the time. I was approached by a staff member, who was very cordial, inquiring the reason I was photographing. She then informed me photography is generally not allowed. It was never an issue during my previous visits. I am also very cautious not to include shoppers in my photos. I saw the cashier eyeing me walking toward his check out station. He then went out of his way to help a customer in another lane. I am respectful of each and every business's policy. If no photos of any kind is allowed, kindly informed us (you know who you are) by posting a notice by the entrance.

Evanston - I've really come to rely on Trader Joe's for a number of thangs that I use all the time. Life's necessities like dark chocolate peanut butter cups, ciabatta bread w/everything on it, lasagna (quick simple & easy dinner). It's not as good as my home made sauce but I don't need to spend hours making a red sauce and then adding all the other ingredients like ricotta, mozzarella.... Just pop it in the oven and bake & viola easy peasy. I get a lot of my greens like arugula, butter lettuce & kale from Trader Joe's too. They have a great selection of cheeses. I particularly like the mushroom Brie and many of the crackers for snackin. They are usually fairly well stocked but lately they seem to be running out of certain items. The staff is always very helpful & willing to help you find items because all the Trader Joe's seem to stock their items in different areas. (Except things in the refrigerated section. In general I find a selection of items that I enjoy and can either pop in the microwave or oven. This sure helps when after a hard day of work you find many meals ready to heat & eat. Trader Joe's has become one of my go to stores for many items.

Oh how I have missed this place! It wasn't until I ran out of my beloved onion salt (their's is the best & makes your food heavenly), that I had to make a quick run this morning. Thankfully, the parking lot was half-full & the store was rather empty. I intended on buying just the salt & a reusable bag, but alas... temptation lives here. I noticed my favorite frozen French green beans were waiting for me, as well as delicious potstickers. Have I been in exile that long? I have seemingly forgotten all the culinary goodies Trader Joe's had. Having my arms full of items, an available cashier helped me get my things to the checkout counter, while I apologized for not grabbing a basket. Cashier was super friendly & understanding (they all are). I managed to find my reusable bag, which I was told was going to be complimentary & was on my way. Definitely will be back for the great prices, delicious food, & stellar service.

Some of their prepared foods. Haven't tried the vegan pesto but it looks good!

I love going to this location! They have really made shopping during a pandemic feel efficient, welcoming and safe. Their parking lot is small so be prepared to wait, park on the meter side or parking garage. They have someone at the doors greeting you and giving you a cleaned/sanitized cart. I love how they keep tabs on how many people go in. They have hand sanitizer before you enter as well. They have pretty good markers on where to stand 6ft apart. Customers seem to be pretty aware of space/distancing from others. The cashiers/baggers are always friendly and welcoming. They have a shield on each checkout . They take your cart and ask you to wait by the marked line as they ring you up. Once they are done, they ask you to step forward to pay. The card machine is covered and they have hand sanitizer too as well. Overall I love this place and the employees that work there :). Like I said they are pretty welcoming and efficient on health and safety!

It's a much bigger Trader Joe's than my home store. It also has wider wine selection. I enjoyed walked around the store and grab whatever stuff in my sight into the basket. It has everything you will need for young family for a quick bite and flower selection are also very nice.

New favorites: cold brew offer and Brazilian Cheese Bread

Trader Joe's is an awesome place to discover new foods. I love the variety and always discover something new when I go in! My newest favorite is their instant cold brew coffee and Brazilian cheese bread. Try it and you won't regret it! The Evanston location sometimes doesn't have all the latest products as their other locations do.

I buy cranberry juice at Trader Joe's. It's concentrated and cheaper than any where else I shop. Their prepared foods are sometimes good.

A long time business in the community. It opened in 2004 at this location. A few hard to find specialties like Caribbean, Latin, and West African ingredients can be found. They also have hot food service. Has quite a lot inside. It's located on Morse Avenue at Greenview and is popular with many people. They make a lot of the prepared foods made to order, so it's fresh, and there's a good selection of meats and vegetables.

Sometimes they have good sales on particular items, such as produce that's overripe. I really love their selection of prepared foods, both entrees and bakery items. Their tiramisu "Greco traditional style" is some of the best tiramisu I've ever had!! Yes, their recently implemented "bag policy" is somewhat of a hassle, but I imagine they are such a small store that theft is actually an issue. Therefore they are trying to keep their profit margins in the black and I get that! They always have homeless people outside the store, many of whom I now know by name, who are just trying to get something to eat (and they do, from me and other neighbors), but it's still a liability for the store if someone steals from them. This isn't Walmart, i don't condone thieving from local markets!

As for this visit, I had no issues finding a parking spot to park my vehicle. The parking lot was less congested in comparison to a Food4Less location I visit in Melrose Park off-and-on due to it being the closest to where I frequent. The atmosphere inside felt relaxed, a very chill vibe! Other than that, I must say that it was a break shopping here in comparison to a Jewel-Osco, Pete's Fresh Market, Mariano's, or even Walmart which I off-and-on shop at. Now along with the shelved items being organized, the market is acceptably clean, and the aisles have plenty of maneuvering space in between them. And like other Food4Less locations, it has that warehouse-like appearance. I particularly searched for the box of Jimmy Dean - Blueberry Griddle Cake Sausage, Egg, and Cheese sandwiches, and either apple or orange juice which I found without any assistance needed. While shopping, other items shelved I took a liking to were a box of Jimmy Dean - Maple Griddle Cake Sausage, Egg, and Cheese sandwiches, a box of MorningStar Farms - Sweet BBQ Riblets, Granola Bars Chewy - Cookies & Creme, Oreo - Dirt Cake Flavor Creme Chocolate Cookies, and the Oreo - Star Wars Flavor Creme Chocolate Cookies edition which I will definitely look into trying at some point. While in line, waiting to be rang up by David B, the cashier, I could not resist giggling at the customer to cashier interaction which certainly put me at ease and in good spirits post shopping at this Food4Less. For the most part, I enjoyed shopping at Food4Less - Evanston, but I just cannot see myself shopping at this particular location on a regular basis due to it being out of my way. However, if in the area and in need of grocery shopping, I would more than likely return. ~Keep it simple. ~ Thomas G

Do you all know that Kroger once tried to buy Albertsons? I'm not sure if this is still in progress…read moreor not, only that at this point I really hope it doesn't go through. I don't love monopolies, unless I am winning at the board game. So I look up cheap grocery stores, and other than Aldi, Food4Less came up. I found one not too far away from me and decided to venture up there. I walked through the doors and some of the first merchandise I see has the Kroger logo. Go figure. Where it comes to this specific grocery store, variety is one of the items that cost it points Their selection was fair, but the deli department is notably small, and there is no visible butcher shop (though there are meats and seafood for sale). You can more or less find everything you would need among these notably very wide aisles, but perhaps some items would require one to go elsewhere. Among the items they had, the store appeared clean and well stocked. When it comes to their prices, while nothing is cheap anymore, especially in Chicagoland, I found their prices were a little lower than average, especially for the eggs. When it comes to the customer service, this could also be a little bit better. While there was no one at the customer service desk, it had a little sign that said that this register is closed. So... if you need to return something or if a price isn't right, what then? You're just out of luck or something? I'd also like to note that this is a place where you bag your own groceries. Not a problem, necessarily, just thought I'd put it out there. Thus, while I appreciate the lower prices, the slightly limited selection and the lack of customer service cost Food4Less a couple points. Still respectable though, and I can still see myself coming back on occasion.
