I LOVE TJ's! While I consider the Sunset store my "home" store, I live closer to this one now and frequent it often. They take back anything I am not happy with, always have yummy samples, and truly have the most wonderful wine expert, Renato. I have been long-hooked on the Amore peach sparkling wine, which sometimes is hard to get but is supposed to be around all the time. He helped me acquire some by ordering cases. This is exclusive to TJ's, as are many wines, and very affordable. He also does wine and beer tastings too. I also have a hard time falling in love with products that are then discontinued, which does happen a lot (not just at TJ's). Whenever I am looking for something, people go out of their way at the customer service desk to look up when something was last in the store and if it is on re-order or not. Also, I had a kosher chicken crisis when I was hosting my first Passover seder for my new in-laws, and the Sunset store called this one for me and they held 2 kosher chickens in the back for me to pick up. The culture is one that is customer-friendly and awesome. They will open any product in the store for you to try should you wonder what it tastes like! They also now carry (but are sold out of) roasted coconut chips, which I first had in Japan and they are amaaaaazing! No coupons needed, soooo cheap! read more

We don't go to Trader Joe's often, but when we do, we end up buying a cart full of groceries. They have a little bit of everything you need that could be your one stop place. The produces are always fresh, shelves always fully stocked, and they have a good selection of wine and beers. Their prices are reasonable and never had any issues with their products. The store is always clean and customer service is excellent. One of the thing that we always stock up on is their smoked ghost chili. It is a seasonal item but will add a bit of spice to any meal. Their frozen risotto is a favorite and easy to make if you are short on time. read more

I love Trader Joe's! I am not always the healthiest of eaters... but when I do, I shop at Trader Joe's. (Did I sound like the beer commercial?) When you first walk in, the fresh cut flowers line the sides. These are gorgeous flowers with fantastic prices. They have such a great selection of quality items that I adore. They sell many organic items from soup to produce to cereal. I always find their organic soups are about 1/2 the price as grocery stores and taste so much better. Their selection of nuts and snacks are amazing. These items are also about 1/2 the price than the regular grocery store. I love it! Another fun thing they do is have a 'snack of the day'. Usually located near the back of the store, they have someone making a Trader Joe item for samples. I have had some very tasty things that I had to buy. Of course their coffee sample right next to it. Love it! I can't think of any time checking out that I had bad service. Their cashiers are always so friendly and smiling! Stopped by Trader Joes on South Eastern this evening looking for something healthy and sweet. As I went to grab a cart there it was, a huge box of watermelons. OMG they were beautiful. Full of color, the texture was perfect, and when I went to tap them, they sounded perfect. :) Well I guess you know what happened after that? I had to buy one, and boy am I glad I did. I couldn't wait to get that juicy watermelon home and cut it up! As soon as I sliced into it, I knew I had scored. The scent alone was enough to set my taste buds on fire. Anyway, once I had cubed and dished it up, myself and Vega Dog indulged in our first sweet taste of summertime. That's right, my doggie loves watermelon! All I can say is, if you don't make it to TJ's soon all of the watermelons may be gone. My only complaint about trader joes (something we didn't have back where i come from!) is that i cant buy literally everything there. If they had all my needs, i would easily drop all other stores and buy everything from orange chicken to trash bags to socks there if they'd let me. I am a HUGE Trader Joe's fan/addict, and anytime we make it to California or Las Vegas, this always ends up being one of our first stops on our trips. I don't often go to Trader Joe's but when I do I'm not disappointed. There's lots of delicious items here like Cookie Butter or Belgium Butter Waffle Cookies. There's also someone in the back with samples and free sample coffee. Last time I went, it was a yummy salad with all the fixings included. LOVE LOVE LOVEEEE this Trader's this one's my favorite! I believe this is the best location in Las Vegas. The layout of this particular location is totally organized, neat, and things are easy to find. It's just perfect! The staff does a great job in cleaning and keeping things in place. They always have what I need. They have a good selection of produce. There's a variety of organic vegetables and fruits which is a MUST for me. I always get organic potatoes here. I love that this location pretty much always has organic potatoes in stock! They also have organic meat, ground beef, sausages, chicken, and bacon. They also have fishes such as fresh/smoked salmon and halibut. I love their chips here, healthy and delicious! I always get organic mushroom pasta sauce when I stop by here. Why? Because it's my favorite sauce to make spaghetti with! To me it's delicious, but that's my opinion. The employees are very helpful, patient, and kind. This is the third state that I've visited a Trader Joe's in - and this one is a step above the Trader Joe's in Washington D.C. and a bit smaller than the ones in California. That said, Trader Joe's is a step up above large chain grocery stores. My one complaint about this location is that more registers should be set up - maybe an express lane. My sister and I had 2 items to buy and we couldn't find a line that wasn't a few people deep that each had a mountain of products in their grocery carts which led to a LONG wait. My complaint company-wide is that they use soy lecithin in their products such as their 85% chocolate bars. read more

Typical Traders but this store is usually very busy. This store is neither the smallest or the largest store I have been in but always clean and staff is super friendly!! You can find me here at least once every two weeks. Always come here for my son's necessities: milk, fruits, snacks, etc. Staff is always friendly and helpful. Love that if you want to taste something they open up a bag for you. My son gets a treat from them too! Their fruits are always fresh and price is decent. Everytime I come here, I become ambitious with what to cook and always end up buying more than what I planned to come here for. Not a bad thing though. I have been going to this Trader Joe's for 3 years and always have a positive experience however I had the best experience this past week and had to take the time to write a review in appreciation of it. My usual trip consists of shopping for some fresh fruits and vegetables, enjoying a sample of your coffee and a trial of an item in the store, buying some grocery items, specialty cheese, getting some safe natural beauty and cleaning products and at times a bottle of wine. This trip was about the same though I had my 6 year old son and 1 year old daughter with me. At the check out we were fortunate enough to be in Sean's lane. He was so friendly and outgoing, told my son KJ about Lemmy, the store mascot which if you spot you get a treat, which we didn't know about before and gave my son a set of stickers. He was also so kind enough to get us some assistance to the car and a second very friendly young lady assisted us to the van and loaded up my groceries while I buckled the kids in which was so helpful especially in the heat. Again I would definitely have recommended this TJ location in the past because it's clean, fresh products and a convenient location however your employee truly made this a 5 star experience! read more

I love their selection of foods. Very vegan friendly. My favorites are chickenless crispy tenders, vegan tikka masala, vegan tzaziki dip and oat milk strawberry ice cream. Also love their produce section, lots of organic ones. Customer service: AMAZING! From getting help finding specific products to checking out. It says Donna Marie in my receipt (forgot to ask their names) but my cashier and bagger (I think she is Hawaiian?) today made my day! Even the manager who walked by us was joking. The atmosphere is very positive and light, I love it. It totally feels that they care about their customers and they are empathetic about my dilemma of controlling myself not to get more ice cream lol. I have shopped at Trader Joe's for 20 years. I loved their food, store and staff. With that said I live in Henderson/Seven Hills and up until 6 weeks ago, my neighborhood store has gone down hill. The store is half empty, half of what they carry is gone and with all the Covid rules ( which I get, may not agree with all of it, but ok following the rules) there is nothing special about Trader Joe's anymore . The last 3 times I have gone in the store thinking ok it will get better it hasn't- it's worse. I am a very educated (Master degree) savvy business woman (top executive) and now own my own business as CEO. I go to check out and they make you stand 10 feet away (OK) - won't allow you to get near until done (Ok) and when you go to pay- there is not just masks but a plastic shield Ok - I ask why do you need all this seems a bit over kill- (by the way I am very heathy, over 60 wearing the ridicules mask) and the 20 something blond checker proceed to lecture me on CDC guidelines - do I look stupid? I said I got it several times ! All This for asking why the over kill with the mask, shield- your more than protected . I finally said I just want to pay for my groceries and leave - while this girl would not shut up! ( god forbid you comment or ask a simple question) finally the guy next to her said no more lectures I promise - I was ready to walk out! WTF this girl should have gotten my response the first time! So after over 20 years and spending thousands of dollars I will NOT be shopping at TJ. The selection is lousy and the young checkers are worse. I will be spending MY MONEY at Sprouts or even Walmart. Oh and I will be sharing with all I know and let them decide if they want to shop at TJ- Me, I am done . Trader Joe's YOU just lost a loyal longtime customer! read more

I went to this location which is not my usual, but it was closer. I'm all for animals but does a St Bernard have to lay right in the middle of the only entrance to this grocery store? I almost fell onto another person as my two sons were trying to squeeze in. Does the staff person speaking to this customer know that they are hindering the entrance ? As I was coming to the cashier lines trying to decide which one to go to, I saw a short line and went right up to the cashier as no one was in front of me. A tall broad bald employee said 'Stand here'- even the sign on the floor was more pleasant . It would have been nice to hear in addition a please or thank you. Again I wasn't paying attention because my friendlier Trader Joe's that I usually go to does not have the same practice of standing 6 feet away from the cashier when the groceries are being run up. I find this to be very impersonal and I also like to see my groceries rung up just in case I have an issue with a price or the subtotal, so I can decide how to pay . Lisa is not responsible for that decision but the fact that you're only called up when everything is rung up is not okay with me. As I was leaving, I can feel that same man who bagged my groceries, staring at me with more rudeness. I would have looked up to see his name but I did not want to have any eye contact with this person. I surely hope he's not the manager bc that would be sad . I know every location may do things a bit differently but this is very impersonal and that is not what Trader Joes is known for. These two kept talking amongst themselves not even aware that there is a customer in front of them. I'm not sure how long it takes to train an employee to be rude or have a chip on their shoulder, but he mastered that skill well. Everyone is feeling tense and I work in a hospital, so I understand but even so I have never been rude to my rudest client. I hope he doesn't have the unfortunate chance to go into my hospital bc then he would see what real customer service looks like. Never again!!! read more

I'm a Trader Joe's addict and make a weekly trip to this store to stock up their store brand foods & delicious seasonal items. There are the staples I buy on the regular but I absolutely love how there are new items weekly and the seasonal items too. The prices are competitive but the flavor and tastes of their pantry items are delicious. Their fresh cheese case is amazing to try different cheeses and not break the bank. Their meats are on the expensive side but their produce and fresh items are very competitive. And I feel like the quality of their fresh produce is often times far superior to other grocery stores. Their staff is always so helpful and friendly and you can literally ask to sample any of their items minus alcohol and anything needing to be cooked. read more

I'm not a vegan or vegetarian but I do enjoy some of the healthy selections they sell here. They offer a nice selection of permafrost salads and meals which works out great if you brown bag your lunch at work. They offer a good variety of breads, wines, and frozen foods. Buying groceries here will be a lot less hit to your wallet than Whole Foods. The employees for the most part are nice and helpful. As with any business occasionally you run into a tool or two. I've never had a bad experience trip to this location... unless all the vegan oatmeal cookies are sold out, but that doesn't really count lol! Before we moved to vegas we would always make sure we stopped by Trader Joe's when we came here for vacation. Now that we live here, we hardly come haha. but we finally made a run there to pick up some goodies for our family back in hawaii. (along with some things for us) i wanted to try some of the fruit smoothies but didn't know which one i would like. i asked one of the workers and he let me sample the one i wanted to try out and said if i don't like it, i don't need to purchase it. talk about a great customer experience. fortunately i liked the taste and purchased the smoothie. workers at this location are very helpful and friendly. i would like to see a Trader Joe's open somewhere between the far locations of summerlin and henderson. either drive is lengthy for us. read more
