When the 99 Only store closed I felt that. I knew they got closeouts on gluten free and organic items. Then something amazing happened; an even better store went up in it's place. More selection. More gluten free and organic. Even better prices- how is that even possible?! I am hooked. My husband complained that I was in a rut, and he was right. I kept making the same meals over and over. Grocery Outlet changed that. Fun meal kits means I move outside of my comfort zone and try something new with a safety net. It's a low cost way to try new things. I love that. Even though this is a big store, it has the charm of family owned and friendly. You get a very clear feeling that employees here enjoy what they do and feel like they matter. They take ownership of the customer experience and that's so rare. The quality of the food is fresh and I love that I'm getting organic without organic prices. I am a frequent shopper at this grocery outlet because it is adjacent to Chuck E. Cheese, which makes it a convenient option for me and my child. However, after repeated experiences, I feel it is important to document this. On March 24, 2026, I was almost denied entry because I had my four year old autistic child in a wagon similar to a stroller. I do not recall the exact dates of prior incidents, but this has happened more than once. It was nearly 100° in Nevada, and I was simply trying to grocery shop while caring for my child; having a wagon is necessary and reasonable. I also want to make it clear that I have always left the wagon at the front of the store without being asked. Despite this, today multiple employees were discussing over their walkie talkies whether I should even be allowed to enter the store. That alone was uncomfortable and unnecessary. What concerned me most was how quickly assumptions were made and how I was treated. As an African American woman, I cannot ignore how this felt. I am not certain whether this was influenced by my race or general assumptions about people in the area, but the experience was uncomfortable and unacceptable. I do not present as homeless or as a criminal, but appearance should never be used as a basis for treatment in the first place; that in itself is discrimination. My child is autistic, and accommodations like this are necessary for her care and safety. I would like clarification on your official policy regarding wagons or stroller like devices for children especially with ADA needs. If this is not store policy, then staff training needs to be addressed immediately. If we are going to support local businesses, then we need to be mindful of who and what we are supporting. Customer service should reflect respect and understanding, especially when families and children are involved. I will not be returning because this left a lasting negative impression. No one should have to prove themselves to receive basic respect. I expect a response from management addressing this situation and outlining how it will be corrected moving forward; if necessary, I am willing to escalate this concern further. read more

Spoiler alert: I love Grocery Outlet! I have been a fan of theirs for years, and was super excited when one opened a little over a mile from my house. The cool thing about Grocery Outlet is it's sort of like the TJ Maxx of food. If you see something you like you better stock up, cuz chances are it might be gone. Don't snooze on these deals! One of the best kept secrets of this establishment is their alcohol section. I have found amazing deals on wine. If you are a wine drinker you really need to check this out, as I've gotten $65 bottles of wine for under 10 bucks. Like no kidding, this is amazing! They always have great deals on other foods as well. If you are into frozen foods, again, if you see a deal grab as many as you can because they will be gone I guarantee it. Bottom line? There are a few complaints about this location. If you need to use the bathroom just go to another store around the area instead. The employees always tell you the bathroom is current out of order due to cleaning but they never have seat covers.they also can't figure out if an employee had cleaned it or not. So there is miscommunication there. If meat or a broke egg spills on your hand it seems like you have to prove that you need to wash your hands. They also have had broken eggs ,but they still want to sell them and tell you it is not broken and it is just water inside when it isnt (it was egg whites leaking from broken eggs). So bacteria cross contamination here we come? So buyers beware if you buy anything that leaks onto your hands with no cleaning station or bathroom to openly use to wash hands because you need to find an employee who has a key and depends on if they want to let you in because " it is currently out of order for cleaning but have no signs up to say it is closed temporarily." Also, they tend to have produce that are rotting or molding badly and do not remove it from the display/sell area, even after we point it out. About a month back for example I was there and there were lemons that had developed green mold and clearly rotting and affecting the other produce. I was told by an employee that they only been out there from shipment a day ago. I like the idea of the store and their deals just not the miscommunication and questionable cleanliness regarding the care of discarding damaged or rotting food properly and ensuring cross contamination or bacteria isnt spread further in their stores. read more

I had a crossbody bag and wanted to shop here, then a gentleman came up to me to say they have a bag policy which include large bags and that I need to leave it up front. Gosh, I want to gate keep this one so much, but that would not be fair. I wasn't thrilled when I first learned about this place, I'm not sure why. But a local influencer made reel on her visit and I was intrigued. It actually exceeded my expectations! Brands that I normally buy at other stores, not just off-brands at a huge discount! Use the app, you'll see what they have and how much you save! I will warn you, it is an outlet, which means when it's gone, it's gone. But there are always new arrivals, so I now go once a week. Can't shop in store with a med/ large purse. No longer going there to shop. I have never been to a store that would not let you in with a regular sized purse, I could see backpacks not purses. I love this place! I live quite far away from any grocery store! I have been to this location several times! The staff is very friendly and welcoming! The selection of the food is great for stocking up as we live so far out! The produce we buy is fresh! Great prices on the meats! And we always find several other things that we like that are healthy and fresh! The frozen food selection is pretty awesome! We love the sourdough bread from there also! I've shopped at the Grocery Outlet on Eastern several times because it's close to home, but my most recent experience was extremely disappointing. I purchased two bags of kelp chips, and when I opened them, they had a strong rancid, old-oil smell--clearly spoiled. I returned to the store to request an exchange or refund, as anyone reasonably would. The manager told me I had to come back when the owner was available. When I did, the owner (Christine) refused to take the return--not because the product was fine, but because I had previously written a negative Yelp review about a different issue. She said she wouldn't help me because of that review. Refusing a legitimate product return due to a customer's review is completely unprofessional and unethical. Feedback is part of doing business, and retaliating against a customer for expressing an honest opinion is unacceptable. Beware of this place. In the receipts they put 30 days refund policy. We bought 5 different brands of plant milk and 2 tasted funny. We wanted to bring them back the next day but since the receipt said 30 days we waited until 10 days later to bring them back and they won't take it back saying it's dairy. We told them it's made from plants and the store manager Carlos was rude and loud. We later called the store owner and spoke to Elliot (Eastern LV location) he also refused to refund our money back. It's only $2 and they mad eus feel like beggars. If we bought the bad products from Walmart they would take them back no questions asked. We used to spend over $100 every time we visit. I've been to a few of these stores in California, but was excited when I found out that they were opening a few of these locations in the Las Vegas area. I went to the grand opening which had reusable grocery bag giveaways and promotions regarding heavily discounted items (product stock available in limited quantities). They carry fresh fruits and vegetables, frozen items, snacks, pantry items, wine/beer/rtds, and a little bit of housewares, supplements, and toiletries. Depending on the location, they have different items on sale. Depending on availability of items, they may stock the shelves daily. You just have to know general prices for certain items (for example, some items priced at $5.99 and they advertised for other stores carrying the same items at a $7.99-$9.99 price tag has been correct). They do have huge savings, especially for items that are organic/non-Gmo/gluten free/vegan, etc. In terms of questions, I've been able to get help rather quickly--bathroom access, location of items, available backstock. The bathrooms are pretty clean, just need someone with access to let you in to use them. This store has been clean and orderly, well stocked each time I've been in. And they get new items in sporadically/whenever new closeouts are available and shipped to the store. The staff was prerty friendly and helpful, carts and baskets available to use by the entrance, and the parking lot is generally open and it is easy to find a spot. Let's unfurl what happened on the evening of 10/28/2025! Leaving a fitting for a formal event nearby and on my way to Sprouts, I noticed the glow of Grocery Outlets, a store I'd never heard of before, let alone visited. The fact their marquee noted "Organics" especially caught my eye as a clean eater. I decided to stop in impromptu, with hopes I'd just come across my new savings' treasure trove, and source for my weekly grocery shopping. Upon entering Grocery Outlet, holding my small, translucent bag (roughly at dims 9" x 5" x 2") which solely contained an *expensive* & newly fitted accessory with its receipt, a Grocery Outlet clerk emerged and mumbled something. I was turned in the other direction grabbing a hand basket, and actually fumbled the contents of my translucent bag trying to turn her way to hear what she was saying. Since whatever she mumbled was longer than your standard greeting and I could not hear the clerk clearly, I asked "I didn't catch that; what did you say?" Her brow furrowed and she said "you'll have to leave that bag upfront" I was taken aback, but then matched energies. I furrowed my brow right back to her. "Uh, no, I will be keeping my belongings on my person," I retorted. She mumbled something else and basically waved me into the store. I put that hand basket right the hell back. I do not spend my money with people prejudiced at my mere presence. I then asked for the manager on duty. At the manager's arrival, he backpeddled on the clerk's original sentiment and said he was fine with my (again, and for emphasis) small, TRANSLUCENT bag remaining with me. He mentioned the owners don't like to have bags in the store... as other patrons were freely walked about with opaque bags, on their person. I then keenly observed whether other adult, female-presenting people who'd just entered the store, but were of a different hue than I, experienced the same harassment and accost. SURPRISE: they didn't. Two other women with opaque bags, bigger than mine even, didn't have a single word mumbled their way. Therein lies the problem and clear instance of disparate treatment--I was the only unambiguously, Black, woman in the store, and the only one grumbled at. You sure tried it! I find it ironic that a clerk working at a paltry wage themself had the gumption to see fit to punch down because of the profiling tactics they've subscribed to. Only cognitive dissonance puts this type of battery in one's back. But let me tell you, I'm not the one. Not even the two. And hopefully one day businesses such as these, operating in poor integrity, learn that playing silly, discriminatory games merits even goofier prizes! read more

This Grocery Outlet on Eastern in Henderson has a recurring and very suspicious issue: every single time I come here, they claim the restrooms are "not working." Here's the problem: they ARE working. I've personally had them opened three different times before, after pushing back. So today, when I asked again, the employee gave me the same excuse, then proceeded to give me a long, unnecessary back-and-forth instead of simply being honest. When I asked him where he uses the restroom during his shift, he said: "At home." That alone tells you everything you need to know. This isn't about plumbing -- it's about staff refusing customers access for convenience, while lying about it. This is a grocery store open to the public, selling food, and denying basic restroom access to paying customers for no legitimate reason. Refusing restroom access repeatedly, especially when facilities exist and are functional, is unacceptable customer service and potentially discriminatory for people with medical needs. At the very least, it shows complete disrespect for customers. I've shopped here multiple times, and this happens every time. Until management fixes this behavior and stops allowing employees to lie to customers, I won't be coming back -- and I strongly recommend others think twice as well. read more

I've been a big fan of Grocery Outlet for years, and I was excited when this new location opened closer to home. It's clean, well-stocked with a little bit of everything, and the prices are always appealing. This was my third visit to this location, and unfortunately, the service this time felt off. We were first greeted outside by a rather pushy rep trying to pitch something--even after we politely declined. Inside, no one acknowledged us upon entry, which was a contrast to the usual friendly vibe I've come to expect. We grabbed our usual staples and headed to checkout. It was quiet, with no one else in line initially. The cashier Savannah rang us up with little to no greeting--which is fine--but when we asked to split the payment, she mentioned she wasn't great at math and asked us to give her the exact amounts. No problem. However, after completing the first transaction, she quickly moved on to the next without confirming if the split was applied correctly. When I asked, she insisted it had been--but the full total was clearly charged to just one card. I let it go at that point. Back in the car, we noticed the 5lb bag of apples, clearly marked at $4.99, had been rung up by the pound and charged at nearly double--$9.50. We returned to the store and had to (awkwardly) decline the outside pitch again. At customer service, I was asked to retrieve a bag with a barcode--something that easily could've been flagged at checkout instead of after the fact. I still love Grocery Outlet, and I'm glad this location is in the neighborhood. But this visit left a bit of a sour note. This store recently opened replacing the 99 cent store, and I believe that this was a great addition. The prices are reasonable and have everything you could need from a grocery store. From many name brands to southeastern brands, I really appreciate the options. The store is all around well maintained and bright, and the service is cheerful and welcoming. I'm picky on eating as much NON GMO ORGANIC food as I can, and I wasn't sure if their would be anything in here I could eat. They have a TON OF NON GMO ORGANIC STUFF. IM SO HAPPY. I LOVE THE " AMYS" BRAND OF ENCHILADAS, PAD THAI, LASAGNA FROZEN MEALS. THEY HAVE NON GMO ORGANIC BREAD, NON GMO ORGANIC CHIPS...even their sweets you can find some good stuff with not bad ingredients if you just look. OF course my chobani coffee creamer is must as well. Never heard of Grocery Outlet so it was my first time here. I stopped by because I was nearby. Still confused as it's a new experience for me and I'm not sure what to compare it to or to measure it by. Overall 5 stars for clean look, presentation, and friendliness. But not as inexpensive as I'd assume from an "outlet". What's cheap are the signs everywhere that say "Elsewhere" and show a random price of a comparable price "elsewhere" that looks totally made up. The selection is more limited than most supermarkets. Not too many great deals, even though lots of stuff is marked as a great deal, which makes it look a bit cheesy. I'd rate it at 4 stars if I had a reason to come back, but I don't. So 3 stars overall due to no good reason to come back. I feel like I know what to expect at most supermarkets, while this one feels a bit random. Also, not too many shoppers and not many items bought by those that did shop - gives me another confirmation that people just walk in casually but aren't really coming here specifically to shop for groceries. read more

I am amazed at some of the prices. Beware to look at expiration dates on items. With some it doesn't matter as use up so fast. I love to up each isle to find unadvertised deals.
