Really such a great place to shop. Here you can get your normal Trader Joe's items, which include fruits, vegetables and other kinds of organic goodies. It is almost like a Whole Foods but for less money. Of course the variety is more limited and you may need to double shop at other places. All in all, it is a clean store and every employee will help you with a smile. read more

One of my favorite places to shop hands down...by far the most friendly employees, they really seem to love what they do. Love being able to buy my produce and organic foods here. Clean. Organized. Great staff. Let me tell you about an incident that happen 6 months ago. My son was spazzing out jumping up and down as a 5 year old does and hit his head on the corner of the check out stand. His got his head good, cut it a bit. And crying terribly. I was scared. The staff just jumped on it. Got napkins. Ice pack. Stickers. Checked in with me. Him. And even gave me their card with a number to call if I needed anything later. Look I'm not sue happy like all these people now a days. This was not their fault. My son was jumping around and hurt himself. But they handled this professionally and tactfully. But also protected their asset as well as businesses need to do in such a graceful and professional way. I love shopping here. And the sampling they do too! read more

With the exception of Stephanie, she is amazing with customer service. She even thanked me for bringing in reusable bags. And Avery who is always smiling and helpful. I just got stopped from buying flowers because I buy too many. I'm confused how someone can stop a customer from buying "too much" when there is ample amount of supply still left. I used to bring in $2500 worth of business for them on a MONTHLY basis. Food, dairy, flowers everything. I got approached by a rep saying "you ladies take too many items and need to leave some for other customers" .. I mean ? Am I not a customer ? Talked to the manager and he said "my customers are first not you" when it came to these flower supplies. BUT AM I NOT A CUSTOMER. I'm so confused. And the crazy thing is I have friends who are white and their florists who make daily flower runs to this exact shop after talking to them they said they never heard of that crazy rule. This is a shit way to treat colored people. Imagine saying "we don't want your business" I don't even know how to contact head corporate yet but soon enough I'm bringing this issue to their attention. read more

I love going to Trader Joe's for snacks. It is nice to get healthy snacks to snack on. I have been coming here lately to get my mom some snacks she can't get in Hawaii and all of them of relatively cheap compared snacks we would get in Hawaii. This Trader Joe's is smaller then other ones in cali that I have been to but they still have all my favorite snack cookie butter, butter wafers, and other cookies and chips. I hardly ever go for their produce but I recently tried their hummus and that was pretty good and had a good garlic flavoring. read more

It's rare I leave reviews for grocery stores, but it's a must for my local TJ's. Every time I come here I'm always greeted warmly by staff. It's a small TJ's, but it has everything you need. Fresh veggies/fruits, cheeses galore, a great frozen food section, and great wine selections. When it's time to check out the staff are super friendly and I always have great convos with them. TJ's is so reasonably priced that for the amount you spend, you get a good amount of groceries. Definitely glad it opened down the street from my house, but the only downfall is that it's hard to get in and out of the plaza. read more

Great prices & produce as long as you pay attention to exp. dates. I was thrilled to finally have a TJ's in the hood. I agree with other reviewers about spoilage, etc. But staff helpful, good products & prices make shopping here worthwhile. Would rate higher except for the bagging. I ask to not bag all the heavy items in one bag but it happens every time. Today I got drenched when I got to my car & had to re-bag stuff b/c I couldn't lift the bag into my car. Osteoarthritis sucks. Bagger put canola oil, olive oil, 2 cartons of almond milk, 48 oz. of juice, & a cantaloupe in 1 bag. Not nice. read more

I love grocery shopping at Trader Joe's!!! Every time I come here, the staff is beyond friendly and chill. My go-to shopping list includes the cookie butter, orange chicken, sour cream and onion puffs, brownie oat bars, donut holes, mac and cheese, mochi ice cream, etc. (I recommend you try them all and moreee) TJ is definitely not your typical grocery store because they also never have specials or sales on their products, all the items are kept at a consistently low price all year long. It's so easy to be adventurous in trying new goodies here lol. + They have a no questions asked return policy if you end up not liking something you bought :) read more

Every Trader Joe's is pretty much the same. They've got a variety of "natural" and organic foods and they're not terribly pricey. The designs even match one another for the most part. Unfortunately as with many locations they're stocked up on meat and pretty short on soy alternatives. Half their customers must be vegetarian so they need to rebalance. I've noticed a number of items with poor nutritional content, too. There's a problem with any entrée that's got half your daily value of anything -- and they've got plenty. And lastly, they lack my favorite reduced guilt pita chips. What an omission! read more

Friendly staff and very clean store. I swear that every time I go and try the samples, I end up buying what they're passing out. Delicious. Also, this store is so orange this time of the year. Trader Joe's always has the biggest and most creative selection of pumpkin-infused foods from all the grocery stores I've been to. Pumpkin cereal, tortilla chips, fall harvest salsa, pumpkin bars/muffins, pumpkin brittle, pumpkin baking mixes (which have been a HUGE hit among my friends). read more

Came here after lunch to get essentials for the house. I come here every monday. But if I work then I come on sunday. I've been to the burien and shoreline location before but this one is HQ. Love this new location in Kent! Closer to home for all the goodies I want and need! The staff is super attentive and they even held some limited time holiday specials for me until I could come in and pick up their delicious pumpkin pie cheesecake for a birthday celebration. I like how they are in tune with the lines at the register and are always willing to open another line to keep customers flowing and happy! The store is well laid out and has many items not found at other big chain stores. They have a great newsletter that comes out once a month and the "fearless flyer" always wants me to come investigate the goodies on the shelf. Lots of organics makes this shopping experience a no brainer for me! read more

It has a great design and is new to the community. The Trader Joe's brand is delicious. I really enjoy their Trader Mingus frozen stir fry dishes. My son loves their cereal bars, he won't eat them from anywhere else. Be careful when you look for fresh foods here though. I have found that the fresh foods I get here expired the day before, the day of, or the day after purchase. read more

I'd give this place five adoring stars (because it's just that cool), except that now that everyone and their grandma has put a trendy new store in this old (used to be) rundown shopping center, traffic, the parking situation and simply getting out to where you're rolling again is almost impossible. I sat for fifteen minutes during non-rush hour just to get from my stall to the street. I don't particularly like the Federal Way store but it's worth the drive just to lower the aggravation factor. read more
