Seasonal Items. GOOD. Wintertime in LIC with the return of the Peppermint, Candy Cane and Gingerbread flavors. Purchased about half of the Seasonal products available. RECOMMEND.

This Trader Joe's is another place that I keep skipping en route to work. A co-worker enticed me to stop bypassing and actually go inside since she's recently been feeding me yummy snacks from this TJ's, almost everyday. Trader Joe's on Jackson Ave. has so many fresh fruits, chips, candies, condiments etc. Today I bought a little of each of those items plus more-dark chocolate peanut butter cups, a fruit medley, sour cream and onion rings, teriyaki beef jerky, olive oil and sea salt popcorn, yogurt cups, corn chips and a jar of pineapple salsa. I spent less than forty dollars on all of these goodies. The shelves, fridges and aisles are full of quality food items and the lines move really quickly here. Super efficient and pleasant staff. I'll be shopping at this TJ's location quite often.

My favorite place to shop. They have absolutely everything I need to satisfy my taste buds. You can always find someone to assist you within the store if you are looking for a specific item. The store is well organized and clean and they have great prices. Occasionally I will try new items that I see in the store. I enjoy the fresh fruits and veggies.

Stopped by here before returning back to my hotel. I found something here in New York that I hadn't seen in California. Peanut butter chocolate rice crispies OMG !!! Yum! Perfect individually packaged so you can put it in your pocket or purse when you need a bite size snack! I also found honeycomb covered in chocolate. I love honeycomb even though it was a big sweet. Anyway, I always enjoy Trader Joe's when traveling and it was a nice comfort to find it here in New York.

Everything is very affordable here and I like this location a lot, which is literally next to the 7 train station, Court Square. They carry frozen and baked goods, groceries, liquor, and also have a home goods selection. I usually get frozen lunch appetizer and entrees such as the Steamed Chicken and Vegetable Soup Dumplings, Vegetable Pad Thai, sesame orange, Chicken Shawarma Bowl, Chicken Tikka Masala, Spanish Style Rice, Black Bean and Cheese Taquitos, Bulgogi Fried Rice and Chicken, Chicken Burrito Bowl, and Cuban Style Citrus Garlic Bowl. These are the bowls I usually get off the frozen section so I can bring them to work. These lunch boxes are easy to microwave and very affordable and fresh. The good thing about Trader Joe's is that all their products are natural and some are organic without antibiotics, artificial flavoring and coloring that you find in other supermarkets. That's why I come here often to be healthy and when I need a detox. They have many different types of chips and the best one I usually buy is the ghost pepper! So delicious! I find them spicy but the spice level isn't that strong to the point you're crying or begging for milk! They also carry acerola, pineapple and probiotic, turmeric and other vitamin shots where you can detox your body. There are many cold cut sandwiches and burritos about $5 that you can grab and eat on the go. The convenience this supermarket brings is what drives a lot of people to come here. The line can be a bit long where it usually wraps around the whole supermarket during peak hours. I find the checkout system very cute and organized. The cashiers are behind wooden counters and they use paper bags. There is also a wall of tote and thermal bags that you have to purchase at a low price if you decide to not use the brown paper bags the supermarket offers. There are hand sanitizers at the entrance when you come in to sanitize your hands and shopping carts. There are 2 different sizes of shopping carts besides the red basket depending on how much you're going to shop. Also there are bathrooms in Trader Joe's so that's a plus for shoppers who need to go.

3 out of 5 TJ extra large organic eggs had double yokes.

Ask the Community - Trader Joe's

Is there a parking lot here?

Unless you want to park illegally in the TD bank parking lot, then no. LIC is like a huge parking lot with no spots. Hope this helps. :)

    Is there a wine store?

No, but they do have beer and ciders.

The delay pushed the opening to about a month after my move so I never got to enjoy the closeness of my own TJs.

Could not believe they had the lowest price I have ever seen on Boursin which is a French ingredient secret to my mashed potatoes that make my garlic whipped mashed potatoes taste the same as the ones served at The Wynn Hotel Las Vegas. Unbelievable... this ingredient has risen to $3 higher in price due to tariffs. Tonight I will make lemon butter salmon with capers, garlic whipped mashed potatoes with sautéed asparagus! Atmosphere is upbeat, helpful, super friendly!

Now that's funny! But the mini eggplants were decrepit and turning fast, I bought some deep purple bigger ones for counter balance. One never knows the schedule of incoming, so outside shopping can be hit or miss. Yesterday was a miss, today likely will be a hit although I'm packed to the rafters at home now. Cauliflower, pears, carrots, celery, peppers, strung beans all for under a dollar and a half per pound, the market fluctuates as the product diminishes, giving itself back to nature in death and decay but you'll never encounter that stage on display. The smoked fish display is always my favorite stop, Chubs are $4.99 a pound and they last a goodly while in the fridge, so I bought my usual three. I LOVE that they're perched upon the top of the counter, not displayed behind the glass of a case. I feel more inclined to buy in this scenario, I see they're orange brown eyes and I wonder about their lives prior to landing here. Anyway, I accidentally parked illegally and no ticket was given making this Sunday shopping excursion a total success, minus the baby eggplant.
