I don't think I've met many Trader Joe's I didn't like, and the Omaha location is no exception. Whenever I travel to the mainland from Honolulu, I'm checking to see how far away a Trader Joes is, and how much extra room I have in my suitcase! Trader Joe's Omaha is small, but then a lot of TJ locations are, but it had some nice variety. Loved their flowers! Compared to the massive Whole Foods I visited, Trader Joes seemed welcoming while Whole Foods seemed sterile. I keep a list on my phone of TJ favorites but it keeps growing...

I love the Trader Joe's here in omaha, the workers are always so helpful and they keep everything stocked and clean. The fruits they have had recently have been SO GOOD!

I've been here a number of times and it might be a me problem, but I find it hard to go here due to the larger crowds. I feel in the way for other customers, I try not to let it stop me. The crowds can't keep me away from the thanksgiving stuffing chips when they roll out around this time of year!! I can't get enough of the butternut squash Mac and cheese, it's so creamy and filling. I have also enjoyed that the danish kringle from Wisconsin are sold somewhere out here, it reminds me of home!

I don't come here often, but love shopping at Trader Joe's! They have a variety of items/brands you won't find anywhere else. Their wine and spirits are a HUGE savings compared to most, and their packaged/frozen goods are often cheaper as well. Their produce is much more expensive so I never shop for that here. The staff at TJs is unlike any other grocery store. There is literally a helpful smile (or 2) in EVERY aisle! If you need help finding something, no doubt more than one employee will try to help you during a trip here. I walked out with some frozen foods to try, and a few money trees (so hard to find in Omaha!), as well as a beautiful bouquet. I need to come here more often--I just with their second Omaha location would come to the West end!

This is the only Trader Joe's in Omaha. It is a bit farther out from the downtown/midtown area, but worth the trip down for me. Plenty of reasonably priced, clean food items here. Staff are all very social and willing to help. Sometimes they move items, which makes it difficult to find. They are busy on weekends, but nothing like my experience with Trader Joe's in other bigger cities. Parking lot has a small coffee shop with drive thru so it can make it a bit congested in the area. Some of my go to items include, frozen orange chicken, French flatbread pizzas, tinned smoked salmon and smoked trout, and maple pecan clusters cereal.

I love this place. Fantastic produce selection and not your typical grocery store. A huge variety of food. Don't get me started on their flowers. The best buy in Omaha. Hands down the friendliest and nicest employees.

Due to COVID, there is limited capacity so on Saturday and Sunday you might have to wait outside the store.

I would like to complement your associate at 50th & Center St. I know her only be the name "Madi"…read more I have seen her at the store but this was the first time she was my shopper. I want someone to know that she is super and excellent in customer service. She has always been willing to help me any way she can and I feel she is a valuable associate for Family Fare. She would probably say that she was only doing her job. May be true, but she does it in an outstanding manner. I cannot complement her enough to let her know how much I appreciate her attention to detail and her outstanding customer service.

What a difference it makes to be able to glide through the aisles without people pushing and shoving past you. Second, it's clean. The carts are nice (no rickety wheels here) and there are a good amount of smaller ones that come in handy for those quick trips. Plus, they don't clog up the aisles either. Finally, I LOVE the self check lanes. They aren't all clustered together and there are two sizes. The small ones for those in and out stops and my personal favorite, the larger ones with a belt length like a regular check out lane. If you're a crazy organized bagger like me, you will greatly appreciate these lanes. My husband probably does too because our self bagging process has improved immensely since discovering this, which means I'm not nagging him to bag better or get out of my way. Definitely make sure you have the customer card because those discounts do add up - I've had as much as $14 of savings in one trip. You also earn cents off the gallon at Quik Trip. Another reviewer mentioned the Direct Your Dollars program which I hadn't investigated yet, but I will now. I'd say you should shop here but I don't want to it become crowded like all the other stores. Maybe I shouldn't have written this review. Hmmm.

I stopped by today in particular to get apples because I forgot to grab them during my normal grocery run and I happened to be nearby. The first thing I noticed was the exterior building. It doesn't look like it's been updated or that well kept up since it was constructed. It looks like the building has aged, and that big sign on a post looks dated as well. The interior was not dirty, but also looked dated and could definitely use a refresh. Businesses in the Regency area tend to look fancier and better well kept up, so I'd like to see this Whole Foods get a little TLC. I just feel like the vibe is off a little from what I would expect. I also expected to see a wider variety of apples. I guess to me Whole Foods means lots of organic and natural items as well as a broader selection than what you might find at conventional grocery store like Hy-Vee. But that really wasn't the case. Other than having lots of organic options, the specific types of apples weren't that unique or exciting. When it came time to check out, there was not a single open register with a human being. They only had self check out open, which is not my immediate preference.
