The organic items and the variety make this a place to go to. The dip I bought was great and so was the cornbread chips. The only thing I don't like is the parking lot. It's small, and it's a lot of people

    !!!! So good!!!

As alwayssssssss... I went for like .. 3-5 things... and $56 later... I ended up with all kinds of goodies! A lot of people think Trader Joe's is a "yuppie".. "rich folks store" (atleast back home in Cali ).. people don't realize Trader Joe's is very reasonable!! Meat is a little bit more but the quality is amazing! If you're looking for unique, healthier items. This is the place! From fresh flowers, to shampoos, to great wine and beer in the middle you have great cheeses! Great breads! Amazing quality meats! A good variety of more international food items - curries, salsas, tiki masala's.. and their cool frozen items!! Man.. today they had free samples of Kabobs , a hummus dip and an Orange Mimosa.. I ended up buying them all!! The employees generally are happy! Friendly ! And so damn helpful!! I love their selection of fresh flowers and plants (I had to stop buying them - I literally killed them all ) .. but you definitely need to go try them!! I'm always finding new fun things!!

Great Trader Joe's! Located at the Quarry Market. Just relocated here from Los Angeles and this store has a great selection. A lot of plants outside and flowers inside. Good selection of frozen food, fruits/veggies, dairy, beer and wine. Parking is in a large lot outside.

Tasty and less expensive alternative to a Mexican restaurant! Cheese stuffed peppers, tamales, and rice make for a great stay at home meal!

Wow, how much things have changed in 7 years. I have changed too. I really am glad I gave TJ's a visit after 7 years of avoiding. I think it's because I have more patience to actually shop instead of just grab and go. It was great being able to go to the website and build my list before hand. There are so many cool products. Today I purchased green chili cheese tamales, Spanish rice, and cheese chili rillenos. They are frozen foods that I was able to prepare in just minutes and they are actually very tasty!

Fall has arrived at Trader Joe's! All things pumpkin are on the shelves. It was beyond busy so I kept my visit short and sweet!

A small, crowded Trader Joe's with parking issues. We stopped into Trader Joe's with some friends visiting from Mexico City. The Trader Joe's in the Quarry is very small. Fun selection of items, but it's small. Parking is a huge hassle on the weekend. Employees were nice.

Can't say enough positive things about Trader Joe's and the location. It's nestled in a shopping center adjacent to the Alamo quarry. It's right across from an apartment complex and sweetgreen. I usually shop here once a week early in the morning or late in the evening because they don't have the biggest parking lot so it can be challenging looking for a parking spot. I really love the unique items that are available on a weekly basis; something new is always coming in and I really like that. For example, they have great smelling candles and nice plants that rotate in frequently. Moreover, I absolutely love purchasing salmon from here because it's already pre-cut so that is very convenient. The salmon seems fresh and is cheaper than other options: $9.99/lb. Every staff member I've interacted with has been very helpful and I only have great things to stay. Happy shopping.

Flowers, food, reasonable prices, fun and friendly atmosphere. Come to the Quarry for some shopping and stop in for a visit.

This is another solid Trader Joe's location. It gets busy quickly as it serves Alamo Heights and central San Antonio. The parking situation can get busy fast and the interior will get packed pretty easily. The lines move quick but many people enjoy the browsing part of Trader Joe's. Plan to find what you're looking for and then some. There are regularly new items in the shelves and even hidden around the store mixed in with others. Prices are a little elevated given you're shopping here in Alamo Heights but you gain a lot of quality from each item. Don't go shopping here on Sunday, it's way too crowded.

Did you know that you can legally drink alcohol out in the open along the Riverwalk? You can't have an open container while walking around at street level, but on the river, it's all good! One option would be to get a drink at the local bars, which tends to be expensive, and they're not generally happy with you running off with their glassware. Therefore, going to Lucky's is always a good option! You can grab a quart or a tallboy here, get it in the paper bag if you insist on drinking on street level, but you don't need it for the Riverwalk! Drink up, buddy! This place seems to sell a lot of crap! They have a variety of San Antonio souvenirs- t-shirts, hats, and such. I didn't see anything I needed. When I went, there were a couple of homeless folks in here. One was buying a fake rose packaged in a glass tube, and steel wool. Hmmm... The beer was cold, but they didn't have the sizes that I'd prefer for drinking on the Riverwalk. Buying a six pack rarely makes sense when you can keep buying individual beers, since the six-pack will get warm in the Texas heat quickly. There are better options around here for what you wanna get from here- there's a Walgreens down the street, and a CVS down the river. There's zero parking for this place.

Why do people get so upset about bad reviews of grocery chains? The billionaire owner doesn't care about the bad review unless it affects his/her (probably his) ability to make the next billion. Why do you care so much? In any case, it's an average Kroger with typically high prices, for me the HEB nearby is better, but there are some things I can get here and not there, and that's basically why we come here now and again.
