Trader Joe's employee arranging items while her unkept hair sits on the produce.

Second time in a month that I've been there where an employee is rotating product, without their hair restricted, which means their hair is SITTING on the food. If I'm seeing this just in the times that I'm there, I can only imagine how many other times it's happening.

I love this little TJ's and enjoy shopping here! Today I came in and spent $175 then came out and it was POURING!! One of the employees walked me out with his huge umbrella and helped me unload my cart into the car. He was cute too! I wish I took a Snapchat of his sweet face without a mask.

    Current social distancing guidelines 6/28.

They have a large selection of beer and wine, plus some fresh produce, basic supplies, tortillas, and lots of yummy homemade salsas (the medium salsa verde is quite good). They even have a deli in the back that serves lots of Mexican-style meats and takeaway items. I came by to buy tomatoes, salsa, corn tortillas, and cilantro to take down to my camping site on the July 4th weekend. Everything was really fresh and yummy! Definitely recommend checking this spot out when you're in San Onofre.

Everything is excellent. At the back of the store is the kitchen with a huge focus on tacos. 10 different options of which nine are a meat (including one fish) option and a vegetarian choice. Among the meats are asada, adobado, birria, chicharon and sometimes buche. Daily taco price is $1.49 but on Tuesdays and Fridays, tacos are 69¢. They have a very good chile relleno as well. There are other things available but it hard to get away from the range of street taco options. The folks working the taqueria are amazing, having to make plates and plates of tacos. Today, one work crew had 20 taco orders in front of me. Long lines await the tacos on Tuesdays and Fridays. Despite the load, the taqueros are friendly and fast. No photos as it really isn't necessary as the food is that good.

I pumped the tire up and I could hear the leak, but it appeared I could get it to Holley's Tire across town. (stick with me, this is actually a review of SC Ranch Mkt, also see my review of Holley's Tire!). Holley needed the car for about an hour, so I decided to find some place to fill my belly with some good grub within walking distance. Still on my journey to find the best breakfast burrito in the San Clemente metropolitan Tri-State area, I searched Yelp for something nearby. SC Ranch Market came up and I headed out as it was a couple minute walk. The restaurant and bakery are attached to the SC Ranch Market but I am not sure if it is the same name or different. My bad for not figuring that out. Upon entering, I saw the menus hanging above the counter and there were a huge amount of choices of tasty Mexican fare. I concentrated on the breakfast burrito section to see what I wanted. While there were some interesting choices, I went with the basic breakfast burrito with sausage. The BB is eggs, cheese, beans. After ordering and paying, I headed to a table to await my tasty breakfast treat. There are several tables near the door. The tables were all dirty, so I tried to choose the least dirty one and then got some napkins to wipe off the remnants of other people's breakfasts or dinners. Kinda yucky. Finally, I was called to pick up my burrito. My extra large breakfast burrito. Dang it was heavy. I lugged the log o' burrito to my semi-clean table and the table was able to handle the heft of this brute. I was nervous. A cool thing is that they have a nice salsa bar with some great choices and other condiments. I got a couple of tubs of salsa to try them out. Spoiler alert, they were both great salsas. Got that out of the way. The burrito was large, it was hot and it was one of the best breakfast burritos in the local San Clemente area. Eggs perfectly scrambled and cooked. Tasty, tasty beans. Soft, warm, grilled (always a fav of mine) tortilla. Melty, gooey cheese to bind it all together. A five star breakfast burrito. You will not be disappointed if you get one and I highly recommend that you should. After only eating half, I was actually pretty full. That did not stop me from stuffing the rest of the tube of deliciousness down my throat. I could not stop eating it. Go to SC Ranch Market and order a breakfast burrito. It is in my top 5 in the San Clemente area. You will not be mad at me for referring you to go. Bring a moist towelette to wipe off the table and you are good. Just go. Take it out if you don't like the tables. Try all of the salsas. Oh wait, I forgot one amazing fact. IT WAS $8.99! Less than 9 bucks for a massive, delicious, breakfast burrito. Where can you find that? Where? Tell me where! Just go. Stop what you are doing and go. Please go. I'll even throw in a moist towelette... Go! Eat Well!! Have Fun!!!

It feels like a local spot with endless options to enjoy. Their baristas (Lucy is the best) can make everything but also don't shy away from suggesting something new. I've recently fallen in love with an iced flat white with vanilla for a little summer sweet treat. Their drip coffee is divine too! Talk about range... we frequent for brunch/lunch/date night too. Their wine list is truly endless. You can sit inside at the bar, at a gorgeous table with air conditioning, under their adorable pink-striped umbrellas on the patio, or in an extended patio off the sidewalk with plenty of seating. You will be treated with exceptional service regardless of seating. Their brunch menu is delicious. Their chive biscuit breakfast sandwich is incredible, as is their breakfast burrito, chilaquiles AND biscuits and gravy. To be fair, we visit most regularly for a cheese board and meat with a glass of wine. Recently enjoyed the ceviche and smash burger with side-winder fries which was hand crafted and filling. Even our young boys enjoyed every bite. On Sunday's (1st and 3rd of the month) they have live music which is wonderful. Last thing, the cellar cookie is incredible. It's hard to just drop in for a coffee and not leave with one when available. You will never regret a visit to The Cellar! One of the best places in San Clemente.
